First and last time I’m coming here. I had a question and asked one of the employee for help. I had to wait for her to be done on the phone. She was flirting on the phone and I’m not going to waste my time on. I dropped all the things I was getting and left.

I’ve never personally shopped at this establishment, and I will not ever shop there. I am 9 months pregnant with my first child. I just had my baby shower a few weeks ago and received some clothes from this store that I wanted to exchange for bigger sizes(they are summer clothes and it will be winter when she will fit in the size we received). I was told if I did not have a receipt, there was nothing they could do for me. I explained that the clothes were a gift. They were still on the hangers, had the original tags on them from The Children’s Place, and were even in the bag from the store still. I know the people who got them for me got them from this location. They just did not give me a receipt. He then asked me if I charged the items to my credit card. Again, I told him I did not purchase the items. They were a gift. He tells me again, it’s their store policy and right there at the counter. There is nothing they can do without a receipt. Again, I said they were a gift. I do not and have not shopped at the store, so I have not seen the store policy. I am not trying to get money for the items. I just want some clothes in a bigger size. Then he tells me that they can exchange them only for the exact same item. I said, that is fine, I just need a bigger size. BUT, they don’t have that item anymore. What?! This is the worst customer service and exchange policy I have ever heard of. I then asked for a manager, in which the lady standing next to him steps over to me. And tells me, sorry, that’s our policy. No returns or exchanges. The clothes were a gift. So you are telling me that I cannot exchange or return items from your store, with your tags on them, still on the hangers, and I am stuck with these items? This makes no sense! Worst return policy and customer service ever. I would suggest NOT buying anything from this store for anyone. In the event that they get duplicates, or wrong sizes, they are stuck with items they cannot use. I will not be shopping here for my child, or anyone else’s, EVER.

The selection of clothing is good, but customer service really sucks! I’ve been there multiple times and always give people the benefit of the doubt, but the workers are horrible. The dressing rooms smell like pee, the employees are always gossiping amongst each other in loud voices, they don’t greet customers or ask if they need help, and they take FOREVER to ring you up! Really crappy service!

Call me crazy, but I will drive right past the Chula Vista shopping center and go 10 miles farther to come to the otay ranch children’s place. Their clothes are always nicely stocked. The store isn’t crammed with racks. I can actually get around with a stroller. Staff approaches you and offers help. They don’t look at me sideways when my terrible 2 kid screams. One employee saw that I was at my wits end with my kid and offered to hold him for a minute. I asked her to hold me instead. ****DIGTHIS**** A couple of weeks ago, they opened up the store 2 hours early on a Saturday. They brought Santa Claus in for the children. He was so perfect, jolly and beautiful. My kids absolutely adored him. I don’t know if the children’s place advertised it enough, because the place was empty. My kids had Santa all to themselves for almost an hour! My 10 year old daughter has been getting teased at school because she still believes in Santa Claus. It almost got her to stop believing. Seeing Santa and spending some personal time with him boosted her Christmas spirit by a million points. This actually means a lot to our family. So thank you children’s place.

Good but not great. Not as much selection as you would find in another malls, but is convenient and do carry sale items. I like it, and have no complaints about it… Check it out, is all about them kiddie clothes…

I don’t really like the kiddie, kiddie look. But I did find a cute teen like sweater for my niece that’s 7. Not too bad on price. Fashion wise kinda lame. For example they have a shirt saying«Future Mrs. Bieber». First thing, I’m pretty sure he is gonna come out gay just like Ricky Martin has, second why would these little girls be thinking about marrying, third he’s all scrawny and looks like a poodle would kick his ass.
