I love this place. Besides having the great steak franchise foods, they have a bunch of extra menu items. I’m especially in love with the tofu soup. It’s a large bowl of soup packed with tofu, mushrooms and onions. They serve it with an entire pack of dried seaweed sheets and a bowl of rice. I cannot consume everything in one sitting. This costs $ 8. I feel the prices are totally decent. They have all kinds of steak sandwiches for $ 6 or $ 10 depending on size(7″ or 12“7. When I used to eat meat I thought they were delicious. They also have smoothies and boba drinks. Besides the regular menu items and tofu soup they have corn dogs, fried chicken, chicken with rice out teriyaki rice and bulgogi. The service is extremely kind and accommodating.

Nice man who works there but overpriced and not impressed with the food/drinks. My boba tea was $ 7.50…and it was gross. I do like helping small businesses out, but this one didn’t make the cut…

Love this place!!! I would’ve gave them 5 stars but it was a little pricey. The food is delicious. I ordered the gyro sandwich and wasn’t sure what to expect but surprisingly it was delicious. :) The tofu soup with rice and seaweed was really good with the right amount of spice. Plus the owners are so nice. I will definitely return to Great Steak.

Im all about helping small businesses but this place is not good at all. I order fries with cheese they were $ 5 So over priced and not good! The chicken salad I order with chicken come with a grilled chicken nugget type of meat with no breading, I threw it out(I asked what type of meat it was they claimed it was a chicken breast) not at all. The dressing they offer is store bought gross dressing yuck yuck yuck!

This place sells overpriced garbage! I ordered a combo and they said their soda machine was broken and then they charged me for a can of soda. The steak sandwich tasted like something you would get at Jack in the box for a quarter of the price. I doubt this place will be in business very long.

Good food and great service. The couple that run the shop are very sweet. Besides the good food, it makes me feel good to support a small family owned business.

The tofu soup and smoothies are really delicious. Surprisingly delicious ! It’s a Korean mom and pop owned serving up steak sandwiches, but is the home cooked Korean treats that are worth coming here. Plus, the owners are so sweet. Try the tofu soup with rice, seaweed wrap, and loads of veggies. I love the heat in the soup. It’s a perfect protein loaded meal.

Everything was delicious. Made to order but our food was delivered fast. Can’t beat the customer service, nicest couple ever… so adorable. I had a Philly and my husband had a gyro, he is hard to satisfy and he loved it. My 2yr old was all over the gyro as well. My 7yr old was in smoothie heaven, pineapple peach. Will definitely be back!

This place is great. Been going since they opened a few years back. Iv never had a bad experience, and it’s brilliant that they have a surf city squeeze inside as well. The owners are ALWAYS there, but that’s great because there awsome. I love this place

My husband and I tried The Great Steak and Potato Company for the first time yesterday. We have walked past it several times and always thought the pictures in front looked good. Turns out the food was quite tasty! I got a 7 inch buffalo chicken sandwich which was better in comparison to chain sandwich stores. He got a 13 inch Bacon Cheddar Cheese steak. We both got fries, and I got cheese on the side for mine. We also tried out the Surf City smoothies, and they were so delicious and refreshing! We paid about $ 32 for dinner, but we were very satisfied with it. The owners were nice and friendly. The food was made to order, and it took no longer than ten minutes. We will return for more tasty morsels :)

Very sweet owners! Get the chicken philly, king fries, or buffalo chicken Philly. They’re all amazing. The buffalo chicken wings and the spicy orange chicken wings are delicious toooo. They have surf city smoothies which are always good. Not your cheapest place to eat, but I think it’s worth the extra couple of dollars.

Really cute place; owned and ran by a cute couple! They are so friendly and really nice. My husband always gets the pineapple, orange and coconut smoothies he loves it. They have steak sandwiches, super fries and really good Asian and Korean BBQ meat! Funny combo but it works! Oh, they also have Boba and you can even buy frozen Korean BBQ meat and take it home!

The owners of this establishment are extremely kind. Been going here ever since they opened and they have never provided anything less than excellent customer service. They even give me free sides and upgrades from time to time. The food is also great and there’s many options to choose from.

After a great workout, I was craving some CARBS! Hubby got a sub next door, but that didn’t seem completely satisfying, so I headed to Great Streak. As a side note, I’m learning about the Flexible Diet/Macronutrients. Apparently, we shouldn’t be «afraid» of carbs, and our carb intake should be about 30% or 40% of our meals?(Not exactly sure about that %, but I know carbs should be our friends, not our enemy! ;) Ordered a Steak Potato that came with cheese all over it. Jalapeños on the side gave it a perfect kick! I think my total was about $ 6 bucks. Customer service was great! Sweetest couple ever. Will be back when I need more carbs!!! Lol

Way overpriced. $ 12+ for a cheesteak combo. Food was average, perhaps slighyl below average. The couple there tries too hard to be friendly. Like weird freindly — staring, watching you eat. It’s apparant that their cheap as he^^ too. I had just paid $ 12 for a cheeseteak combo — the sign by the condiments sayd ‘use in moderation’ and of course, I get stared at as I pour our some ketchup. Business is VERY slow so I guess they ned to eke out every penny of profit. Not my type of place. Too pricey, felt very uncomforable — trying way too hard. For that price there are many other places for better food and a better experience. Note: Subway just opened next to them so they’re doomed(not a huge fan of Subwayeither but at least there you get what you pay for there and condiments aren’t rationed out!) :-)

I’m a coupon whore… and have the entertainment book. We went in with a BOGO coup for a 7in ‘Philly.’ Was promptly told they do not accept those coupons, buuuut she would give us a free medium fry. I used to love this restaurant when they were in Plaza Bonita yeeeeeaaarrrss ago. I couldn’t tell you if I still like their food because we didn’t stay. Gave an extra star because the lady behind the counter gave each of my kids a lollipop.

I dined here once about a year ago. Reasons to go: 1) Food selection. They have a disturbing variety of food products and beverages(not sure about alcohol). 2) Different option. They are near Mexican, Japanese, coffee house, Thai, and Italian establishments. But don’t assume the name plies American cuisine. Reasons to avoid: 1) Definition. What are they? Smoothie place? Philly place? American food? I got the immediate feeling of stepping into one of those eclectic foreign shops found in the mall that sells ninja swords and Spanish crucifixes. Find your wheelhouse and knock it out of the park. 2) Got a ‘steak’ and the bread was kinda stale and the meat was dry although there was plenty of juice. Weird, but 3 hours of professional therapy helped me through the experience. Note: This place has serious potential to steal business from the surrounding establishments if they found a singular theme, marketed it, and pumped out good steaks

I love the couple who run this joint. But They got my order wrong because 1, the husband doesn’t speak a lot of English and 2 the wife was too busy yacking it up on the phone. Although I didn’t understand the conversation, it sure didn’t sound like business. I DETEST the shredded lettuce. I kept telling them no lettuce. But since the lady had to catch up on some dets on the phone, I got shreded lettuce.(it’s so shredded that it’s hard to get out of your sandwhich) I believe in 2nd and even 3rd chances, but we will see. I LOVE their delux steak with no tomatoe or lettuce. Their King fries are off the chain too! They’re over priced, but whatever
