The owner of this place knows nothing about running a true coffee shop. Maybe it us because I am from the west coast and my standards are high, but the coffee is terrible, I get charged different prices with my reusable cup, they only have junk food,(mostly chips) to offer, and the owner seems rude to his employees.

Really enjoyed the plain black coffee — the true test of a coffee house! Other people in my party got iced coffee, which had a very satisfied customer, who is an iced coffee aficionado, and two others had specialty drinks that were good too! Was able to comfortably fit our party of five in one of the rooms for a chat. Appreciated the availability of a few gluten free snacks!

A nice small coffeehouse located on Cibolo Valley drive. It has a couple of tables & barstool seating looking out the front window. They have a good selection of coffees, espressos, teas,& iced coffees too. They sell regular refrigerated drinks as well. However they didn’t have any pastries, cakes, or sandwiches available for purchase. They only had bagels & a muffin. In my opinion you have to have pastries in a coffee house along side your caffeinated drinks.

Horrible coffee. Meant for the diabetic unhealthy sugar crowd. Ask for a healthy version with no sugar and almond milk and you get an attitude. The people are not nice and welcoming. Nor are they willing to sway from their sugary crap without making you feel like it’s an inconvenience. This is the second time I’ve visited and I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. I am not a coffee enthusiasts by any means but I like regular expresso lattes with almond milk. Not very difficult. I would stay away from this place. You’re better off going to the store, buying regular coffee and some flavored creamer. Same thing and cheaper.

Staff is always friendly when I go in. The Black Forest mocha is good with raspberry.

While the store was very nice and clean, their coffee left a lot to be desired. I ordered a latte and was really disappointed. The coffee had no uniqueness. It tasted like a cheap mass produced blend which is always a disappointment when I go to a coffeehouse hoping for something better than truck stop quality. Then my milk was so freaking hot, I had to wait 10 minutes before I could drink it. I should have known when the barista just dumped the milk into the espresso that she didn’t know how to make a quality drink. I ended up drinking a few sips then trowing out the rest. Maybe I stopped on a bad day, but the place was empty so I am not sure how my latte turned out so bad.

Love the military discount and quick drive thru. I always stop by after my boot camp work outs when I’m in that area.

First and foremost the staff and owners at this local coffee haus are amazing people! After visiting this place more than once rest assured they will remember exactly what you ordered last time and have it ready before you are ready to pay! If I could come here every day of the week I would! I love this place and will be sad when I move.

Typical coffee store, I am going to start rating these coffee houses according to their difference from the mundane. I walked into the typical strip mall shoppe: counter, backbar, service counter, high chairs and bar at front window, oh, and this place has a drive through, a plus. Lacking though was no art, no sofas, no tables with mags, nothing eclectic. The only competitors to this place is Emily’s on main st in Cibolo(weak coffee) and Northern Lattes in Marion, 8 miles away, which in my opinion is the smoothest, strongest best tasting latte for 30 miles. They have paper cups and real cups. I had to ask for the real cups even though I was drinking there. brew: –12 oz small latte $ 2.85 — fair aroma, weak, watery blend, no design in froth, smooth coffee, no bitterness, milk watery drips: — clean store — deserts weren’t a priority — drive though is convenient

I finally found the time to check out this coffee haus and was very pleased with my experience. The place was empty aside from two girls working, and they were very patient when I looked at the menu for a while. I settled on a caramel soy latte(I know, that’s my favorite coffee based off all my other coffee shop reviews… gotta spice it up). The coffee took a decent amount of time to make, enough time for me to check in on Unilocal and then I noticed that they closed at 4. It was about 10 mins past 4! Those super nice girls still made my coffee even though they were closed and didn’t even say anything! I was too embarrassed to mention anything, but I was really shocked they still took my order despite being closed, and they were super friendly and nice about it. So that in itself gives them one whole star.

The staff was very nice and the coffee was fine. I’d be more excited if they were less focused on Starbucks-style sugar/whipped cream/blended drinks and had more of a «third wave coffee» approach like Local Coffee. All in all they’re good, but not different enough from chains.

Pretty awesome. I have met the owners and they are very nice people. The place looks nice and modern inside too. Their coffee is a tasty alternative to the franchise coffee chains here. I especially like how their flavored coffee is barely sweet. I enjoy being able to add the right amount of sugar to my coffee. Places like Starbucks tend to make their lattes sickly sweet.

My family and I are always looking for a good coffee shop. We definitely found one at Cibolo Coffee Haus. The coffee was fresh and delicious, and my daughter loved the Strawberry smoothie they made for her. The staff was friendly and professional, and the interior was very clean and modern. We will definitely be going back for more coffee!

Being a Starbucks lover! This coffee shop is good! They made my drink as requested the 2x I visited. I wish the espresso in my latte would have a dark more dense flavor as my all time favorite Starbucks!

Yea! Finally a coffee place near the house! This place just opened about a week ago so my daughter and I went last Saturday morning for an espresso and hot chocolate. You can tell they just opened up because the décor is still missing; about 4 – 5 tables, a small bar and then some cushioned chairs for lounging. The place was eerily quiet(it was 8 a.m.) so they could use a music system to help liven up the place. Hopefully that will come with the décor… I had a double espresso; good pull from the barista(who is also the owner) with nice foam and great taste. My only complaint is that they didn’t have espresso cups so I ended up having it in a regular 12 oz. cup. Would be nice if they had something besides«to go» cups but again, they place just opened so I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt. My daughter loved her hot chocolate; they asked her how hot she wanted it and had homemade whipped cream to top it off. All in all a good experience. The Coffee Haus serves the regular compliment of espressos, lattes, cold drinks, etc. They also have a small assortment of pastries and then regular soft drinks, water. etc. Not sure if they serve sandwiches and what not at lunch but will find out later. While I like Starbucks, I also enjoy walking five minutes down the road to get a cup of coffee from a local family giving their own local place a go! 3 ½ stars…
