I would’ve done 4 stars but their staff. Lady waitress have always been RUDE. My last visit left me with a headache since I left fuming. I tried to pay for about 20 mins until I got up and made a scene. I never would do so. But I asked her for my bill 5 times. 5 times! The last time around she said «oh your bill» and went to hang out with another waitress. You have to be kidding me. The food is ok but not too great to put up with their crappy staff.

decent food, I wish salad was actually salad (prepared with care) versus a salad that appears to have came out of a prepackaged bag. lacking variety outside of fish food but it is a fish style restaurant.

The food is delicious! Restaurant is mainly focused on seafood. I think there are only two dishes that aren’t seafood. Tacos, grilled chicken breast, and steak. The prices are a bit pricey but it’s expected for seafood. I ordered shrimp cocktail and a Pina Colada and it was delicious! The shrimp was fresh and well cooked. I loved it! I recommended this place!

I ask for a Camarones zarandeados it was super good.
My wife had camarones hawaiianos it was also good.
Skirt steak was perfect and also the drinks (micheladas)
Service was ok from 1 – 10 I give an 8.
I recommend this place. I sure will return soon

I wanted to update my review to say that if you come here, ask for Giovanni. He knows what service is all about. I keep coming here because of him. I had the pleasure of coming back and asked specifically for him. He is incredibly attentive to his clients and makes sure that you are happy. The food as always is great.

I love this spot!!! The food is great Lagustinos, Shrimps Sarandenos, Oysters, Mussels!!! Pricey but I keep going cuz they just that good!!! You gotta try it once!!!

Found it by accident! Can’t wait to go back. Stopped in to just check it out and enjoyed a Sangria with more than just wine in it! Terrific. Shrimp ceviche was wonderful and a huge serving. A very clean restaurant with excellent waitstaff. Mostly seafood. Can’t call it cheap, but worth every penny.

They have a great idea. But the food just is not there. They cut corners by buying precooked shrimp… taste is very chewy. The sauce made for shrimp is spot on, but the shrimp is not good. They do have great customer service… if you can over look the cooked shrimp the rest is ok

Love love love! I live one block away. Don’t go often because it’s a bit pricy so I go only on special occasions, but the food is delicious!

I have been here a few times and am always a bit dissapointed. I usually only come when my dad drags me to it. I just go because he wants to spend time together.
I’ve ordered a few things from the menu, but have not been able to have a favorite.
I’ve tried the piña colada and decided it was not tropical enough. It is extremely milky. Not refreshing at all.
Today I came with my dad, again. I wasn’t in the mood, or hungry. Mind you, we had pozole at home. Just came because my dad insisted. I ended up ordering the camaronez locos, and again was dissapointed. It is basically shrimp, chicken, pineapple chunks, red pepper, and onion in a creamy spicy tomato sauce over a bed of rice. The creamy sauce just did not work. It overwhelmed all the other flavours. I’m not sure, but it seemed like a miss.
I don’t really recommend coming here for the food. You come here for the good time, and atmosphere with family and friends. Zacatacos, a block away, has much better food (not seafood). If you’re looking for better seafood, go down to Lobo del Mar. Same ambiance, but better food.

Wow, this place is very good.
They start you off with a complementary tostada de ceviche and a side of salsa de habanero that although it’s truly to its hotness, it is very delicious.
The Lobster in mushroom sauce with scallops, shrimp and octopus was very good. I have to come back, again… and again… and…again

Food was good. Very reasonable pricing. The shrimp empanadas were amazing. I also had the hawian shrimp which was different but still very tasty.

I love their food and the prices are more than fair. The Margaritas are super strong and delicious. Someone tell the waitress that the septic system works here. That was the only bummer. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive.

Jason and I had dinner here last night, Fri Oct 4, with friends. We were really looking forward to it and this restaurant does not disappoint.
Not only had we not seen them since coming home from Vegas last weekend, we haven’t had Mexican food since we left Cancun at the end of May.
After dinner, it’s understandable why our friends come here every Friday night. The food is wonderfully delicious. The service is excellent. A couple performs while we eat. They are set up for Karaōke so as the night wears on, people start taking turns singing. The dining room is a decent size but the dinner conversation tends to get loud.
We were a couple minutes late. A small corn tortilla with fish ceviche was on the table waiting for Jason and me. Fernando had eaten his and Gaby was halfway through hers. I don’t know if the restaurant serves this to all their guests, in lieu of chips and salsa, or if our friends ordered that for us.
I liked it so much, I had a large plate of the seafood for dinner. The other three ordered the skirt steak plate.
With so many Mexican restaurants, it’s hard to know which ones are worth a visit. We’re fortunate that our dinner companions are Mexican. They would know where to go and I’m glad they introduced us to this place.

Very good restaurant! It was really good. The food was very flavorful and the mango margarita is off the chain! The ambience and décor in the restaurant made me think I was in Mexico.

Good food and good service. Despite the small selection on the menu everything you ask for has good flavor !
It was one of my favorites but I’m really disappointed on them. They advertise they close at 11pm on Saturdays and right now is a Saturday and is barely 10:15 pm they are close already. I came from 4 miles away specifically to eat there. They let us sit and then kicked us out by being not sure of they were close or not .What is that!!!
That’s why the 3 start rating. They should respect the hours they advertise as being open. If you stop at this place make sure is way before the closing time.

Great place for seafood. Online menu definitely needs updating. Was led to believe they sold tacos and tortas here, yet when I arrived, they said they don’t sell any of that, and they haven’t in a while. So the menu is mostly seafood. Good seafood for when you’re in the mood!

We brought my coworker here for her birthday. While the service was awesome and the server was super friendly, I sadly have to say the food was just «OK». I can’t say it was «awesome». It wasn’t bad either. I would definitely go again and try something different to see if something changed my mind. A cute little place, not crowded at all for the Cicero /​Berwyn lunch crowd. My coworker, the birthday girl, did like it a lot. An A for ambiance, A for service, C for food taste.
