My husband and I got married there in October, and we were quite happy with our overall experience with using them for our ceremony and reception. The property was beautiful and well-manicured for our outdoor ceremony, and the updates in décor indoors made our reception room more up-to-date and elegant. The staff were also great about answering the gazillion questions I had by phone, and putting up with my control-freak mother. Our ceremony was outdoors in the East Garden, which was set up with chairs by a local vendor. Wysocki’s had some nice seasonal flowers decorating the site, so the flowers my florist mistakingly put at the other ceremony site weren’t missed. When the ceremony began, there wasn’t a staff person to help hold the door open(or put a doorstop), so I had to have my poor dad hold the door open while I gathered my train. Not the grand entrance I had dreamed about since I was a little girl. It’s minor in the scheme of things, but it still irks me a little. After the ceremony, the bridal party was able to get some beautiful photos taken at different areas on the property. It was nice to have one place to get photos done, and it saved us from renting a limo for the wedding day. Score! The reception room was set up nicely, and everything had a logical place. My guestbook was visible to our guests, and the tables that were not being used were taken out so there was plenty of room to walk around. We decided not to get a champagne toast for our guests, but no one put anything in our glasses to toast with. The food was decent, and there was plenty of it. It wasn’t a gourmet sit-down dinner, but there was something for everybody, which I think is important when you’re feeding 100+ people. Our cake was also sliced quickly after we had cut it, and was promptly served to our guests. Overall, my family and I had a overall decent experience with Wysocki’s. We received good service and got a lot for our money. Their longevity in the area meant that things ran smoothly with our vendors, and the venue was central to the highway and hotels where my guests were. I would recommend checking this place out as a possibility if you get married in the CNY-area.

My husband and I got married here three years ago, and we loved the venue. We had the ceremony in the gazebo outside, which had lovely flowers that matched our wedding color scheme so beautifully. The reception was right inside, so our guests could easily go from one place to the other and we found some lovely spots to take pictures in. It is a small venue, but perfect and intimate for what we wanted. The reception food was great– couldn’t beat the price for the buffet dinner! We got the most expensive package, and even that wasn’t as expensive as it usually gets for wedding dinners. They had a great selection of food, and I’m happy to say that I was able to eat at my own wedding! We ordered the beer, wine, and soda selection for the bar, and after a while the bartenders were serving up shots and other mixed drinks for free. I thought that the staff was great, and it was one of the best nights of my life. Wysocki’s is wonderful!

Food wasn’t horrible but it wasn’t good either. The bartender didn’t seem happy and I felt like I was bothering him every time I got a drink. Our table was sagging on the side and I was worried my plate was going to slide off the table.
