It’s in a perfect location AND I don’t have to worry if my packages are going to be stolen off my front porch. I am blown away by how many items can be ordered before noon and you get them THATDAY. Going to be an Amazon Student member for the rest of college because of this!

My friends made fun of me because I told them I was pretty sure the only way I could get my package the SAMEDAY is if robots retrieved my items/packaged my box and then drones carried them to Amazon@Cincinnati. Then they burst my bubble by telling me there’s an Amazon in Florence. But whatever guys, my one package came from Lexington so there HAD to have been drones involved, okay? Regardless of how my package was retrieved/shipped, I love this new option at UC. Granted, there are few times I need something IMMEDIATELY but it’s nice to have the option of same day delivery. I believe the only way the same day delivery option works is if you are a Prime member and order prior to noon, but hey, I can handle that. The concept is just mind-blowing and makes me feel like I’m living in the future. You check in on your phone when you’re on your way to the store, then upon arrival, you scan the bar code at a magical locker that Amazon provides on your phone, and VOILA — a locker door opens and your package miraculously appears! How do people think of this stuff?

This is a new concept in Cincinnati… an Amazon store? Wait? What? Hold up? How’s this work? This location next to UC’s campus(no coincidence) offers: package pick up, no hassle returns, and same-day pickup. What does this mean? You can add this location to your Amazon address book and have packages shipped here. You then get an email/text to pick up. You can either come in and talk to one of the associates and they’ll grab your package, or you can let them know you’re on your way and it will be in a secure locker for you, scan the barcode that’s on your phone and a magical locker door opens! Awesome! I won’t have to be a PI to find the packages that are«left by my mailbox» or have anxiety that they’ve been swiped. The store is open 9a-9p seven days a week for pick up. I came in to return a purchase I had made. I had already printed the label, but didn’t have packaging. I simply handed the item and label to the associate and he packaged it for return. Had I not printed the label, they have three kiosks where labels can be printed. There are also items available that can be picked up the next day(for Prime members)! No more«two» day shipping that actually means four. Search results on Amazon can be filtered for same/next day pickup. I’m excited for the potential of this place and its ability to make my Amazon experience better.(especially the returns… finding a printer is hard.)
