Anna’s Tailoring

I have to be honest in that I wasn’t really going to go to Anna’s this day because I usually go to Paul, at Alterations While U Wait, up in Glendale, but the traffic on I-​75 that day was bananas and I had to get back to Hype Park for another appointment in short order.
So I had an event on a Friday night (I actually only had a 5 hours lead-​time before I had to go pick up my date), and there were these shirts (somewhat trendy and uniquely designed) I got from overseas that didn’t drape just right, and I wanted a same-​day tailor to look at it for me, so I called Anna — whom my Dentist recommended.
After raving over the shirts and declaring how handsome I was (which I am, of course. LOL) Anna had me try them on and told me exactly what she’d personally do to make them drape better. (I wanted them to fit like the model on the guy’s web page) «These guys they do tricks for those photo — I fix for you, beautiful man».
Anna hooked me up. My momma loved the look, the people at the Aronoff center loved the look, my date loved the look.
Thanks to Anna for giving me the look I wanted in a couple of hours. I can’t say I’ll be a regular customer (because Paul is the bomb), but I’ll keep you in mind.

I love Anna! Every time I come here she is so friendly and always does a good job. Both my wife and I have been here multiple times and have never had a complaint about the quality of the work. I have had a linen jacket taken in so that it had a slimmer fit and had multiple pants hemmed. My wife has also had multiple pants hemmed, pants taken in at the waist, and the straps on dresses shortened. As you can see we both have problems with being short and thin.
I have recommended people come here and everybody has had nice things to say. As a matter of fact, right now I have a suit with her that is having the jacket taken in, the sleeves shortened, and the pants hemmed.
The only negative thing I can say is that the guy that works here does not have the best attitude. He does fine work, both my wife and I have had some of our clothes adjusted by him, but I would much rather deal with Anna.

The low price for a hem was how I stumbled upon Anna’s tailoring. I brought a new pair of pants and brought them to Anna’s Tailoring. They did a level hem, which ended up making the back end of the pants look too short with suit shoes. I brought them to a different tailor which explained that a hem on such a pair of pants should be slightly longer in the back (I think it was ½″ in the front and 5/​8″ in the back). The 2^nd tailor was able to salvage the pants. I won’t be going back to Anna’s.
