Cyndy’s Alterations

Wow! I recently had two pairs of pants altered and just got them back today and I feel like I am wearing new pants! I couldn’t believe how affordable it was to get my pants fixed, and to think that I almost threw the pants away because I thought it would be expensive! I am already planning to bring more clothes to revamp my wardrobe!

I needed an Alteration for the white dress I’m wearing for Diner en Blanc, you’re welcomed when you walk in, escorted to a dressing room to change into the clothes they need to see on you to see what needs to be altered. Once you change, you walk into the alterations area, a member of the team then takes pins to mark what needs to be altered, then you go back to the dressing room, give the item back to them, they tell you when you can pick up your item & give you a receipt with the charge.
My dress was ready about 10 days later from dropping off, when I walked in today, they asked me my last name & date my item was to be ready. I saw it on the rack, paid the amount which was very reasonable and went on my way. Thanks for great service Cyndy’s Alterations.

I’m petite and 5’0″, so it’s hard to find the right jeans in length. I did my research and found Cyndy’s Alterations (located in Oakley/​Hyde Park area). Across the street from the Plaza (Piada, Mellow Mushroom, Krogers). I only saw one review which was excellent. So I thought I would give it a try.
I called and no appoinments are necessary for what I needed done, but they do require appointments for certain fittings. I had to get a pair of jeans hemmed (too long) and wanted to keep the original bottom. $ 13.00 is a pretty fair price. The assistant was very helpful on what length it should be. The only downside is if they are busy with other alterations, it may take longer to get my jeans. Their turn around at the time was two weeks. That was fine with me because I wasn’t in no rush.
I got my jeans and love it! They did a great job and I’m wearing them right now! I highly recommend this place! Cyndy’s has been in the clothing alteration business for over 20 years so she is very knowlegable and has great experience.

Highly recommend. Since I’m only 5’1″, I have to have a lot of things altered. Cyndy’s has helped me with a lot of bridesmaid dresses, jean hems and other needed fixings :). They are quick, professional, and everything has always turned out great!
