I’ve only tried the gyro but it was very good. For $ 5.50 you get a lot of meat. It was slightly salty for me but overall I loved it. The lady(owner I’m assuming) was very friendly and professional. The food came out very quickly. They also have a rice plate version of the gyro for about $ 7 along with several other side items. Water bottle was $ 1.50. I would recommend them.

If you’re looking for a Gyro in Cincinnati, this is the place to get it. Add feta for extra $. Do it.

My FAVORITE gyro place in Cincinnati and my favorite place to eat in the roofed area in Findlay Market. Areti’s is quick, easy and cheap. $ 5.00 gets you a gyro that’s cut right in front of you. They’re fries are a great complement to the gyros… but that’s only if you have quite the appetite. These gyros are monstrous in size with plenty of toppings and the tzatziki sauce!

I have had gyros in many other places and I can honestly say that this is as authentic as it gets. The flat bread is always warm, the meat couldn’t be seasoned better and their tzatziki sauce is just out of this world. I always ask for extra tzatziki sauce and they graciously serve it on the side. This is one of my absolute favorite places in Findlay market to grab lunch.

Areti’s is the best gyro in Cincinnati, that I’ve tried at least! The meat is juicy and tender, and overflowing from the pita(just the way I like it!) Every time I go to Findlay Market, I end up getting a gyro whether I plan to or not. It has a way of pulling you in! haha :) Some pieces of advice: — don’t talk on the phone in line, you will be skipped. — sit down, don’t expect to walk while you eat. You’ll just end up with a shirtful of meat and tzatziki and a collection of judgmental looks from strangers. — try the baklava, if you still have room afterwards. — don’t expect the same juiciness from any other gyros you eat, you’ll probably just be disappointed!

Great gyros: lots of meat and good tzatziki sauce that isn’t runny. I LOVE their chocolate baklava and find it the perfect dessert for any meal I have at the market. I’ve had their hummus and it was good as well. If you haven’t been to FIndlay Market or Areti’s, drop what you’re doing and enjoy some of their great food. And, definitely keep off your cell while ordering, as Howard said, they will skip you. *I believe it is a $ 10 minimum credit card order.

I can’t believe I have not written review for this place. Areti’s Gyros always causes my wife and me a fight because I always want to eat their gyro, and my wife wants to eat at Phở Lang Thang. Anyway, this is the best gyro place in Cincinnati. I don’t really put one place as the best in town, but I will say this is the best gyro without any hesitation. It’s the only place for me. Everything tastes great and fresh, and I love their tzatziki sauce. And I want to point out that the gyro is huge! It’s like I am back in college with the size of gyro but with much better taste! They only down side is I cannot eat here at midnight… I want it when I am drunk.

They service nice, flavorful gyros with a unique(to me) tzatziki sauce that has a definite woody herb flavor to it. I’m not sure what herb but it’s nice. And behind the counter, there is a sign that says if you are next and you are on your cell phone, you will be skipped. And I’ve seen them skip people. I love that.

I love gyros, Areti’s does not disappoint. It’s very big– almost TOO much meat(but is that even possible?). It’s a basic gyro meat, tomato, onion, tzaziki sauce on a pita– but really it’s more than that. The gyro meat is thick, juicy, flavorful. Just the right amount of vegetables to not overpower the meat, because really, the meat is the star of the show. Tzaziki sauce rounds off the gyro perfectly, and the pita is warm, thick, slightly charred, and wraps things up nicely. Best $ 5 I spent in a while.

I love me a good gyro. Aretis makes a good one. So good it is at the top of my list of gyros in the city. In fact, it may be my favorite behind Chicago Gyro in Clifton. Let’s just call them 1a and 1b. Aretis gyro is big, country big. Except it’s downtown. It comes loaded with the basics of a gyro, your meat, tomato, onion and tzatziki sauce all loaded on some thick delicious pita bread that is a little bit charred for added texture. There are a few things you have to do right to make a great gyro. The first is your meat has to be tender and seasoned well. Areti’s is just this, coming directly from a spit behind the counter. The second thing that needs to go well is your sauce. This is where you can have some creativity. Areti’s sauce does not disappoint. The gyro is enough for two people to share if you aren’t sure. It is reasonably priced and a great food item in Findlay Market to eat while shopping. When I am craving a gyro, Areti’s is where I tend tend to end up.

Gyro-a fool not to go. DO: –Gyro, gyro, and a gyro. Gyro. DON’T: –N/A PARKING: –Street parking –Findlay paid lot For the first time in my life I was worried because there was too much delicious juicy meat in my $ 5 gyro. I’m not sure what else I need to say.

OMG party in my mouth! I’ve had lots go Greek gyros but this one definitely makes the top of the list. I had the Gyros on rice plate and devoured every bit of goodness. I also tried the Baklava and was equally impressed. The price you pay for any dish here is a bargain. I Highly recommend this place!

This is pretty much the best food in Findlay Market! Let’s face it… Findlay is the best place to buy fresh local veggies, spices, fishes, meats, etc., but it is not really a good places for buying a meal. Just about everyplace, I come out say, «Ehhh…it’s so-so.» But this place is different, I enjoy it every time I get a gyro! I think I would only suggest that they add lettuce to it… actually, maybe you can and I just don’t know. Anyways, they are an expert at their craft — the meat is cooked fresh right before your eyes, and the tzatziki sauce is among the best I’ve ever had. Now let’s talk about portion… I think the cost is a little under $ 5 for a gyro, but let me tell you… you definitely get your money’s worth — it’s completely stuffed and has a very generous portion of meat! I like the gyro so much, that I haven’t ventured to far away from it. I did pick up some Red Pepper Hummus one day, and was really satisfied with(definitely better than the store brands from Kroger). One thing to note is that they have cheese coneys. I don’t think I realized this until after I had been going there for a couple of months. I had already ordered my gyro, but was curious about the chili they used, so they gave me a sample. Let me tell you, I’d put it up there with Skyline’s, and we all know how awesome that is. Well, having said that, I think I might go and get a few coneys for lunch today.

Best gyro I’ve had in Cincinnati. I don’t know if I’d say it’s the best I’ve ever had, but I definitely like it. For $ 4.75 you get a nice warm pita, onions, tomatoes, and really a ton of meat. The meat is probably a little too much for the pita, and I usually have to eat some first or take some out in order to heat the gyro. Good price for a good meal.

This place offers a great gyro, but there are other places in town that do that just as well as Areti’s. The difference is that this is more than just a gyro place, serving many different Greek dishes as well. That is something that the others don’t really do. I’m not just talking about baklava and spanakopita, but an entire array of other things that I am utterly unfamiliar with. I hesitate to give them a full 5 stars because I simply don’t know much else about Greek food. I do know that I like what I get, which has included the aforementioned gyro and baklava. Next time I get lunch here, I’ll try some of the other items. Or else I’ll totally forget my resolve to try other things besides my favorites and simply destroy another one of their tasty gyros with a piece of honeyed delight(baklava) on the side. I’ll try to remember to at least try the stuffed grape leaves, I promise.

I love greek food… and gyros are to greek food as tacos are to mexican. With that in mind, Areti’s has the best gyros in town, hands down. I haven’t tried too much of their other stuff. I wasn’t terribly impressed by their greek salad, but that doesn’t even matter because their gyros are sooo delicious. They’re the best I’ve found in the states outside of Tarpon Springs, FL — which is an entirely greek community. Side note — I see people ordering conies from them all the time. They must be pretty good. But, for $ 5, you can have a gyro that will fill you up for the afternoon so why try anything else. Keep doing what you’re doing Areti… Cincinnati is lucky to you have!

On the hunt for the most satisfying Gyro, Areti’s goes far, but I’m not ready to give it the crown. Meaty, but not LARGE. The sauce is decent, and the toppings are basic, they earn points on taste and price, definitely a top eatery at findlay. they also have excellent feta you can purchase to take home.(PSsst. add it to your gyro bro.) there are many greek desserts you can buy, but I rarely make it past the gyro stage.

Areti’s is pretty good. Since moving to Cincinnati I’ve been looking for my perfect gyro. Ive had some bad and some good, but nothing that has matched Niro’s Gyros in central Illinois. Areti’s is probably the best I’ve had in town so far. Flavor wise they nearly nail it, and this is where they fall short. The pita is perfect, the veggies fresh and flavorful. The meat is well seasoned moist but still a little crispy on the edges. Lastly the sauce, it’s delicious, but there just wasn’t enough of it. Unfortunately this left the whole thing a tad dry. I may be wrong, but I like a messy gyro. Areti’s was just a little to neat. All of the components are wonderful and high quality, but the sandwich just isn’t enough of a «mess». I am for sure planning another visit, but I think I will order it extra messy!

Easily one of the best gyros in Cincinnati! The meat is always well-seasoned, tender, and plentiful! A great lunch spot while stopping the market. I also recommend their feta cheese — $ 2.50 for a good size chunk that would easily cost $ 4 or $ 5 at a regular grocery store.

Areti’s is one of my favorite spots at Findlay Market. I had a gyro for lunch yesterday and realized that I had never taken the time to review them. I knew that needed to be fixed ASAP! I admittedly have never had anything else on their menu. The gyros are huge, so I rarely have room for anything else. A pita is dolloped with tzatziki sauce, topped with tomatoes and onions, and then a giant mound of meat is added. For me, the meat is the highlight. Cooked traditionally on those cool rotating spindles, it is moist on the inside and has a great crisp outside. I’m not a gyro connoisseur, but these are the best I’ve had. At just under $ 5, the price is also incredibly reasonable. I always eye the baklava, and I suppose I need to try that soon. Until then, I’ll happily survive on gyros.
