This website is a great one-stop shop for all your outdoor lawn needs, my garden gnome collection has expanded considerably after finding this site. I think I’ll be ambitious this spring and start a water garden, it looks like they have everything I need and I prefer to deal with one company than try and piece together everything from disparate companies, I called with my vision and the customer service was knowledgeable about their products and what would suit my needs.

This company demonstrated perhaps the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I am a business owner owning several service businesses in the greater Los Angeles area. I ordered a few items in my first order from them. All was fine except a bottle of algae preventative for my fountains. It arrived completely empty. There was no evidence of spillage in the box and the cap was ½ unscrewed so it was apparently packed empty as well. I called the company and was told a manager would be consulted and I would be informed of their decision. This, I thought strange to begin with as I expected they would simply send out another one. What I heard back on a message left for me is that I did not call them in time. They have a policy that if you do not call them within 5 days too bad! I had ordered about $ 80 worth of stuff for the garden including a 50Lb. bag of wild bird seed. I did not open it immediately upon receipt as I did not need the seed and was not working on the fountains yet. So they basically refuse to ship an item that they sell for $ 2, 1oz bottle to me as they don’t want to pay the couple bucks for shipping. I spoke to the Cust. Serv. supervisor, Zack and suggested that accommodating my normal request for a replacement would generate more good will and that it was the right thing to do. He instead wanted to cite his company policy to me again. I informed him I would not do any future business with his company. Frankly I do not think he could care less. If I had an employee like this I would terminate them immediately for lack of care to the business and their clientele.

I discovered via Google and placed a number of orders this summer for bird feeders, accessories, seed & suet. I appreciate their wide selection of weather guards & feeder hangers. Their prices for«birding hardware» are competitive to both and my local bird store. Excellent customer service too. I had a post mount bracket arrive with the powder coating rusted off. They took care of having the manufacturer send me a replacement free of charge. I didn’t have to arrange shipping to return my defective post mount bracket either. I highly recommend them and would give them a five-star rating except I found their seed prices on the high side. Their safflower seed prices are 20– 25% higher than my local store, though the blends offerings are quite unique.

This place is not recommended… I ordered an iron plant stand from them that was supposed to be «free shipping». When it arrived, I opened it and found a defective piece of iron, with two spot welds detached. I had no intention of replacing it, due to poor quality, and had the FedEx Home Delivery person take it back. I then found out that the«free shipping» was not free after all. I was given credit, less $ 23.11 for returning an $ 80 item. They tell me that because I did not want a replacement, I would have to pay the shipping. … buyer beware!
