We hit this spot up before heading to Bunbury and needless to say we did not have to spend much $$$$$ at sawyer point. The drinks we had were awesome and they don’t up charge because of events downtown(huge plus), and even though the joint was packed we still could get served quick! Love it and will continue to go hang out there when in the area! The staff rocks and the chicken tenders are a must. Oh Please try them tossed in wing sauce!

Went to the blind pig after trying to kill an hour. Sat on the patio and they had a great view of the city. Recommend the«Smith Forge» cider they had on tap. Great place. Highly recommend it!

This is a two for one deal when you go to this bar, it is actually 2 of them put together. The blind pig hosts the outdoor patio and small inside area to get out of the sun and O’Malleys is just a walk thru the back. The beer selection is very nice and they offer the fireplace seating outside for those cooler nights. If you are downtown for a game or event stop by here before or after for a nice cold drink!

If you walk into O’Malley’s and keep going straight, you walk into the Blind Pig. The main difference I noticed may have been the age of the clientele. It could just be the day or time, but it appeared as though the Blind Pig had more of a millennial presence while O’Malley’s catered to Gen X and older. Some great craft beers on tap including several local brews.

Cool place, I love the pub feel! Food was decent and the ambiance was nice. There are plenty of tv’s to watch different sports games. Server was friendly and attentive.

Great spot for a pit stop on the way before or after the reds or bengals smaller and with a bit more character than the usual spots in The Banks. The outdoor patio has great ambiance and great views of both stadiums and the banks and bridges overall. Good selection of beers on tap. Love the Jameson bottles chandelier and the Jameson bottles Christmas tree for the holidays.

Wandered in looking for a beer after a long day working. Hotel was downtown and this place was just two blocks away. Excellent tap selection although several domestic standards sullied the lineup, so it’s not a full-on«craft beer» bar, there are more than a few labels represented. I took the theme to be less Prohibition and more post-modern sports bar. Both are fine with me, but don’t go expecting a straight Speak-Easy environment. Great service and a very cool outdoor patio overlooking the stadium. Great place I’ll definitely come back to when back in Cincinnati.

I’m actually a big fan of this place. It’s my go-to spot before Bengals games. I love the outdoor patio and am not sure why there aren’t more rooftop/outdoor options in the area. It’s a way better space than O’Malley’s(which it shares the building with) as it doesn’t feel quite as dark and dingy. The food still comes from O’Malley’s kitchen and is better than you’d expect considering it’s just simple bar food. Overall, great pregame spot but plan to arrive early because it fills up quickly.

I’ve only been here two or three times, and only for Tuesday night karaōke, but I love it! Whenever I’ve been in, even if it’s crowded, there’s a super chill vibe. The crowd seems to be mostly Young Urban Professionals like myself for whom midweek karaōke is a fun, relaxing activity. I go with a group of actor friends after rehearsals sometimes, and I always make friends with strangers there! Especially considering the location, the drink prices are pretty reasonable, and they have really good daily specials. They’re connected to the back of O’Malley’s in the Alley, so I envision a combo day in my future! The patio is excellent — everything a bar patio should be. I love it!

I was in town for weekend trip and decided to check this place out. Very cool looking spot that connects to O’Mally’s in the Alley. The roof deck and décor are unique and hipster chic. My only issue was the service– it really ruined the experience. Around 1:30 they closed the outdoor seating and people started to trickled out. We moved inside to finish our drinks at the bar and around 2:00 found ourselves as the last ones there. There were two young women bar tending that did not once come ask if we needed new drinks or our check. The doorman/bouncer stood on the far end of the bar and yelled twice that they were«closing up, so finish your drinks and leave»…please keep in mind we were literally the only people there, so it was a little strange. After the second time I jokingly said«I assume you are talking to us since we are the only people here– we are just waiting to close out here.» The two bartenders continued to stand 3 feet away from me with their backs turned until I eventually waved one down to get the bill. Overall it was an okay bar, but it was poor service and we were made to feel very uncomfortable while finishing our drinks. Maybe we just came in during a weird day since I have seen several good reviews… I would not go back– Cincinnati has a lot of other cool spots to offer!

Some of the best wings in the city with amazing city views. A great game day hang with friends for beers and appetizers. The wings are smoked and lathered in sauce and are truly amazing. Beer selection is good as well.

Worst service ever. Sitting here for lunch and have been waiting on food for over 50 minutes. If you don’t have the staff and kitchen to make food for a lunch crowd, don’t serve lunch. Also, don’t over charge for food that takes me 5 minutes to make myself at home.

Just ate here for lunch this afternoon. It has a great outdoor space that overlooks 3rd street. Plenty of umbrellas so you don’t have to sit in direct sunlight, if that’s not your thing. We ordered a variety of things. The Rachel looked fantastic, I will be trying that next time! I ordered the Cali Club and was happy with it. Plenty of toppings and a little messy = good sandwhich! It’s got typical downtown sports bar feel/quality…a solid 3 star.

I’ve heard awesome things about Blind Pig– awesome back patio, chandeliers made of Jameson bottles… it all sounds great! We went there last week and were worried that it would be slammed because a reds game had just ended. Not so! We were able to get a table outside and got snappy service at the bar. They have around a dozen beers on tap, and I really enjoyed our time there. I’ll be back!

Oh man… this is one of those reviews that’s hard for me to write. I want everyone to know how amazing of a spot this is… but at the same time I don’t want anyone to know so it doesn’t become so packed I can no longer enjoy it… Alas, I want the place to succeed fully so here I am typing. This is truly a hidden gem in every sense of the word. I don’t think you would know the place existed unless someone told you about it or you happened to stumble upon it by going to O’Malleys. You literally have to enter through O’Malleys to get to it(they do have a stairway front entrance). I would describe it as O’Malleys trendier cousin from out of town… like the one that cares about fashion and trends but is still down to earth(not pretentious) and hangs out with O’Malley all the time. The décor is trendy but the real star of the show is their outdoor patio. It literally is not only my new favorite watering hole but a wonderful place to just relax downtown. They also have insanely good deals on drinks, including a Thursday night special which includes $ 3 drafts… and I mean ALL drafts including craft and specialty beers(like Hi-Resin…whoa!). Added bonus is that you can order food from O’Malleys if you’re getting hungry or if you just want to nibble they have a popcorn machine running all day. I have been here literally like 8 times in the last 2.5 weeks. I have seen it packed and pretty empty. They have plenty of TV’s inside for games and a good sound system for tunes(they have a TouchTunes jukebox). The bartenders have always been very nice, attentive, and helpful. Like I mentioned earlier my biggest fear of this place is that too many people will find out about it and I wont be able to enjoy it in all its glory… especially on game days. But until that day comes I will continue coming on a weekly basis.

Ever since the now defunct Locker Room closed their doors this past Fall I’ve been wondering what was going into this prime real estate between both GAB and PBS. Seeing the signs on 3rd street and all the construction also piqued my interest. When I saw the Blind Pig sign go up I got even more excited. Reading about what they wanted to do in the Enquirer article put me over the top. I was sold and had to get here ASAP. It was the opening round of the NFL playoffs and besides the Lions getting Jerry Jonesed it was a great day. They have an entrance off 3rd St as well as the connector between the bar and O’Malley’s. The feel is a mix between lounge and sports bar. I can easily see this place being awesome in the warm weather. Half of their space is located outside on the patios that overlook both stadiums. Inside there’s a long bar on one side with casual seating on the other. It ends with some high tops before the huge garage door that opens up to the patio. They have a decent selection of beers with plenty of local crafts. The bartender might have been a little overwhelmed with a room full of people and only himself behind the bar acting as server and bar tender. I can see that being a problem down the road. I will definitely be back and hopefully next time I can wear my Lions shirt out with pride… haha, that’s a good one.

What an awesome bar!. Another cool joint my husband found in downtown Cincy. Located behind O’Malley’s In the Alley. You have to walk through the O’Malley’s bar to get to it. They are right next door to eachother.(There is an Entrance via stairs on Third Street as well). The Blind Pig has the same owner but a different atmosphere from O’Malley’s. Beautiful décor! I love the lounge-type space, with yellow chairs and the rich warm browns. It has a 50-bottle Jameson chandelier, which stands out(you can’t miss it) and one of my favorite decoration in the bar. There are more than 6 widescreen TVs for watching games. Capacity of the bar holds at least 45 people inside and another 50 on the patio, which has a great view of the Freedom Center and Paul Brown Stadium. Patio is very spacious and open. There are also two fire pits and four heaters. It was built on top of what used to be the Locker Room, which O’Malley’s previously opened for Reds and Bengals home games. There are 20 beers on draft, including craft, local and domestic offerings, plus wine and a full bar. My husband got an 2IPA(drafts) and I got the Hudepohl lager. All three beers close to $ 15.00 with tip. Blind Pig also offers a menu which serves sandwiches and a mixture of comfort foods. The Blind Pig hosts DJs on the weekends. A great addition to downtown Cincinnati! Friendly bartender and great service.

I walked into O’Malleys and ended up here! Seriously though, I had no idea this had opened up until I got to the back of O’Malleys and… the back wall had been replaced with doors leading to a connector(complete with new restrooms) leading to Blind Pig. It’s not a huge space adding to a comfortable feel with tables on one side and a bar on the other with plenty of televisions tuned to local sports. It had the same laid back vibe as O’Malleys, but with a much spiffed up décor.(Check out the cool chandelier!) I could see a pretty good sized patio outside too overlooking third street, though given the arctic chill, we did not venture out. Overall, a welcome addition. I’m sure I’ll be back!
