So my original review is still relatively accurate for the Friday night I went in on originally, but revisiting recently on a Sunday was a much more pleasant experience. Coming in to watch the Cavs game, they had every tv in the house turned to it, put the game on the speakers, and the sparsely packed bar area was able to watch it enjoyably, with attentive wait service. We ordered the appetizer nachos with ground beef instead of chicken, and they came out pretty quick, baked with a hot tray. Crunchy nachos, baked on cheese, plenty of beans, and a TON of tomatoes, guac, and sour cream. Plenty of food, enough to make a meal for two people. The beer options were still extensive, and expensive, but the wait staff gets some kudos for coming around and checking on us, but never pestering or making us feel uncomfortable taking our time watching the game and slowly finishing the plate. Between the two experiences this place is a solid 3.5 that I’m rounding up to 4 because I feel like I’m ridiculously cheap and don’t want to ding them too much for my brokeassedness.

My team at work had a happy hour here one Friday afternoon. The patio is great if it’s a nice day and the food was decent — nothing fancy, just typical bar food. Service was decent, however, I ordered three different specialty drinks from the bar and not a single drink had much alcohol in it — certainly not worth the $ 10.00 per drink. I will not be in a hurry to return.

Excellent atmosphere before a game. If you love beer you NEED to come here! Food is a little pricey and not the best value, but I keep coming back for the beer selection.

I’ve been to a lot of Yard Houses and this has been the first one I wasn’t wowed by. Came here after the second rain delay of a Reds game to beat the rush. Service started good but then it kind of went down hill. I sat at the bar and ordered a seltzer, beer and food but because I didn’t have a full bosom, blonde hair and a low cut top, it took me forever to get my beer. The guy was more interested in ogling the curvaceous patrons than making money. Just a note, you can actually make more by exchanging beer for money than you can by leering at women with your tongue hanging out. For food, I had my usual boneless wings and cheese curds. The wings were good, as usual. The curds were a real disappointment. They came all congealed in one big clump rather than as individual curds so I kind of had to cut them to eat them or else the cheese would stretch for miles. Since they were one big clump, they tasted only partially cooked. I just don’t get why some people who work at bars don’t want to make money. It doesn’t take that much effort to pour a beer AND act like a misogynist pig. My beer was good and the wings were good but they need a better class of bartender.

Cool place. Nice atmosphere. Even though it was crowded, I was still attended too in a timely manner. The food is pretty good as well. Can’t forget to mention the nice drinks .only problem was parking.

My boyfriend and I came here to eat after a Red’s game to celebrate my brithday this past Saturday. I’ve been here many times, and this used to be my favorite place to eat in Cincy(as we’re from Columbus). We ended up with 2 servers, and server #1 is the only reason this place isn’t getting 1 start. First — I would like to say that it appears to me their prices have gone up since the last time I was here. Over $ 15 for mediocre fish and chips? Meh… However, I get it… You’re in a prime location for Bengals and Reds games, so charge what you want — I’m sure building a restaurant right there wasn’t cheap. Our experience was fine, but then our server had to leave about halfway through our meal, around 1am(we were told they close at 2 — and the game wasn’t over until after 11 — so we still had plenty of time. The new waiter was incredibly rude, and kept coming over and asking if we were ready for the check. I told him we’re thinking we might be getting another drink once we finish these so not yet. He rolled his eyes, and looked at his watch and said — well just so you know, last call is in 30 minutes. Really dude? I can definitely say we will not be back. We spent $ 100, and I feel like I get better service at a drive thru.

Not worth it. This place is WAY overpriced. The beer averages $ 7 a pint and the apps and meals are a minimum of $ 11. The food is average and service was just ok. This place would be good if the prices were more reasonable, considering they have a large beer selection. I’m sure the location is what keeps them going.

If you can’t find a beer that you like here, you may not really like beer, move on. Their beer list is seriously long, and all on tap. You can order all different sizes too, which is awesome. If you’re looking to eat, the menu is seriously HUGE. I’ve been here for food a few times and have sampled about 10 things on the menu, but nothing really stands out. It’s all fine, you’ll eat, but you won’t have your socks knocked off. The upside on the food, is that there is something for everyone, lots of variety. They are always busy, so if you know you’re headed here, make a reservation, especially on game days. Also, if you happen to get a window seat, there are great views of the Suspension Bridge and Ohio River, or Paul Brown Stadium, depending which way you’re facing.

Good. Nice atmosphere. Rediculous amount of taps. Lots of craft beers. Food was really good. The truffle fries are a must! Good portions and not bad prices for the area.

When I travel, I DONOT eat at any restaurant that I can find in my city. So while hanging out with by high school HBO Brother, he took me to the Yard House. Immediately I notice the upscale sports bar atmosphere. We were immediately seated and our server Sarah was a delight and very efficient. I had the Sea Bass and it was cooked to perfection! The décor was great and the noise was at a level that AP and I could enjoy our 3.5 hours dining experience. I found out that Yard House is a chain and I hope one day to see it in Tennessee.

Yard House has many great memories. I used to go to the location in Pasadena, CA often to connect with friends while chowing down on their excellent burgers. I’ve been to this location every time I’ve gone to Cincinnati. Always great service and standout burgers. This past week my wife and I spent a couple days in Cincy for some R&R and enjoyed part of our afternoon at Yard House. The Happy Hour food specials are very affordable and generous portions. Some places will either hardly discount their HH specials or give you less food. Yard House does it right. We had the chicken nachos and mooshoo rolls and were stuffed! Great job as always Yard House! We’ll be back next time we’re in town. In the meantime, consider Lexington, KY for your next location.

This place has a pub feel with a homey restaurant feel… or is that the beer talking! Oh yeah, the beer menu is ahmazing! Our server was pleasant and attentive– go Whitney! Street Tacos needed corn tortillas and less toppings. Keep it simple with poco and mango salsa, too much sh** according to that eater! The Nashville Hot was a great take on Chicken and Waffles BUT it was Chicken and sweet potato pancakes! Yum!

I have to downgrade my previous rating based on my last experience. It’s still a nice place and I have no complaints about the décor, atmosphere or service, but gosh is the food grossly overpriced. This past Sunday I ordered a newer entrée, the«Nashville» hot chicken. I have had hot chicken at Hattie B’s in Nashville several times so I have a pretty good frame of reference. The dish was underwhelming on all fronts. The chicken is just a smallish fried, boneless chicken breast tossed in a «hot» sauce. The sauce was flavorless and contained hardly any heat. The only other thing on the plate were three small sweet potato batter pancakes(thin, chewy flapjacks). The kicker was that this meal cost $ 17. What? Combine that with the higher than average beer prices and my out-the-door cost for one and a half beers(my second beer was the«shorty» size) after tip was over $ 40. The conclusion I reached was that this place is only worthwhile if you can go there between 3 – 6PM M-F for happy hour. At any other time it’s just not worth it.

Exquisite, fascinating — Yard house has great atmosphere, large bar, great views and delicious food. Tonight I had the ribs, mashed potatoes and creamy corn — great choice. The ribs were perfectly cooked and with spicy BBQ sauce. The creamy corn was delicious, warm and very creamy. The mashed potatoes dipped in BBQ sauce is a great combo! For dessert — S’mores Brownie — warm, creamy, and melts in your mouth. I love the Yard House — great appetizers that actually taste good!

This is my favorite place for Happy Hour! They have great deals during their happy hour(and even a late night dinner menu!), otherwise it’s a tad pricey. You can sit for an hour and still have not gone through just their beer menu, but the waiters and bartenders are great at knowing their stuff! Ask any one of them for help, they’re usually good at answering your questions. I prefer the cocktail menu, though, which is still pretty extensive! Their food menu is just as wide and varied as their drink menu. They have some sushi/Asian dishes, pizza, past, I think they have some sandwiches. Definitely a place that everyone can find something they like. The space is interesting, too. If you have the choice and weather permits, eat on the patio, you get a view of the river and KY.

I suggested Yard House for happy hour with friends on a Friday afternoon/evening. I’d heard great things about the place from a friend who comes quite often so I figured it would be an easy location. First, I have been very vocal on Unilocal about my disdain for The Banks. Parking is so challenging and places aren’t that great. Yard House may be my exception(except parking still sucks). The service is very friendly, from the greeters, to the servers, everyone was really nice. The menu is gigantic, everyone in a group will be able to find something on the expansive menu. The happy hour menu is just a small little section with a few moderately-priced items. I didn’t think there was a very good deal in ordering from that menu but there were good options. I ordered deviled eggs for an appetizer and chicken tenders and fries for more a «meal». My deviled eggs were made incorrectly but the server was cool about fixing them. My chicken tenders were left in the fryer a little too long, and everyone at the table who had fries agreed they were not hot but borderline cold/warm temperature. I wouldn’t be opposed to trying Yard House again, especially in the summer when they have the great patio open.

I had the Korean taco, vampire taco and garlic fries. Both were excellent and I think rival my favorite taco places in town. It may even be my favorite because of variety. The fries were good but were very strong so be prepared or don’t order them. So the vampire taco involves grilling cheese to your tortilla and tastes pretty great. You can actually get any of their tacos vampire style for $ 1. The only thing that prevents me from giving it five stars is the price for the serving size. You can’t get a real meal without spending less than $ 15 and the drinks are pricey as well. Unless you order off the very limited lunch menu, you are probably going to spend $ 20 on a lunch for one there.

I’m surprised I haven’t written a review for Yard House before… This is one of my favorite places on The Banks because their food is consistently good and the beer selection is top notch. Favorite things about Yard House: — It’s perfect for large groups or if you have people that like different types of food because their menu is HUGE and has a lot of variety. They also will seat a large group if you come in early… I’ve been here a few times with groups of 20 or more and it’s been great. — Happy hour(M-F 3−6pm or late night) prices are very good on their food! Drink prices are not bad either. On their happy hour menu, we liked their buffalo wings($ 6) and the chicken nachos($ 7 for a huge order). — BEER selection is absolutely phenomenal. My husband is a beer connoisseur and he loves coming here because they have got dozens of beers on tap. There are a few local beers in there, but there’s also beers from all over the world. They do seasonal flights as well, which I would recommend if you’ve never been there before. The bartenders are usually helpful if you’re trying to decide what to get. They have a full bar too, so if beer isn’t your thing there are other options. — Location and view can’t be beat, being right on the Banks and so close to the Great American Ball Park. If you’re catching a Reds or Bengals game, I would recommend you check this place out. My only complaint about Yard House is the service is kind of spotty and of course it’s not local. But if you’re looking for a good bar with pretty good food for a large group, Yard House is a great option.

Yardhouse is my go to stop before a Reds game. In my opinion, they have one of the better Happy Hours in town. The only downside is happy hour ends a little early(6 pm), but you can get some great deals on both food and drinks. Several of the pizzas are only $ 6(regular price $ 12 – 13), and beers are $ 2 off. Tons of other options, but those are the super awesome deals. My favorite item on the list is the Vampire Taco — a tortilla surrounded by yummy melted cheese, with bacon chorizo, guacamole, cilantro, and cumin crema. You can’t go wrong with the beers here. The selection is HUGE, and there’s always a good selection of rotating, rarer beers. If you aren’t a beer drinker, there’s still a great list of cocktails — I’d suggest a hawaiian mule, same as a Moscow mule but with pineapple vodka. Yardhouse is going to be crowded on game days, and they will not take reservations, even for large parties. Over the phone, we were told 80% of our group had to be there to be seated, but when I arrived, there were 3 people at a table for 16, so honestly I’m really not entirely sure what their rule is. Our group sat/stood at the bar, and we were fine there.
