Poor service, poor food, poor place. I don’t know how a place like this in a competitive market with prime real estate can get away with this. Pitiful.

Fun atmosphere but food isn’t great. I came before Home Run Derby and they offered a very limited version of their menu. Our server was very helpful and checked in on us frequently even though the place was packed. Would visit again but not on a game day.

Came here before a Reds game. I must say I was not impressed. There was a lot of seating at the bar but it was super busy. Tried sitting a round table near the bar but was quickly told we had to go wait in the huge line for this table. Went to go sit outside but there were no chairs to go with the table(weird). Plus the inside floor was super sticky. Ordered a few drinks and found someplace to sit. The one really annoying part of the night was they do not have a speaker system for calling tables so you have one girl yelling at the top of her lungs multiple times. I think every business needs some kind of speaker system or use the pagers because the yelling is annoying. Maybe the food is really good but just to get a few drinks it was not all that’s cracked up to be.

Not really worth the price of the food. Food is plain and bland. Not special besides the decorations. Service wasn’t to great, overall bad experience. Went after a Reds game was only about ½ full, that should have been a red flag to begin with.

I am here during a reds game. I sat at the bar and it wasn’t very busy. Our bartender was curt to put it nicely. I ordered nachos since they were out of all wing types. I recieved my order and they were bland and dry. I look back at the game day menu to realize they are missing half the ingredients. I asked for a side of jalapenos and guacamole since they were missing from my sad nachos. She charged me for them and then informed me they were out of both. I am beggining to wonder if this place is goin out of business. Who runs out of jalapenos guacamole and wings? Its not busy enough to account for this. Maybe if i am ever back in this city i will pick a table over the bar, if they are still open by then

So i have been here a few times and was never impressed nor did i have any super bad things to say… with my last visit that has changed. I got a group of about 20 ppl. to meet us there for my wife and my 1st wedding anniversary. Welp, here is how the lovely evening went… It was 7pm and the floors were already so sticky with spilled drinks it was pulling girls sandals off their feet, this may have been from the stumbling slurring drunk guy walking around harassing every girl in the place spilling his drink while doing so– i am not sure. If you like anything but cheap light beer– this place is not for you. all they have is bud light, miller etc. so do not come here expecting anything but piss water beer. Moving along, the night went on and my best friend(best man from my wedding one year to the day before) came to me and said one of the lovely bouncers had«cut him off» for slapping his own wifes butt. See, bouncers are stupid by nature and after seeing my friend playfully slap his wifes behind, he decided my friend was too drunk and he was too embarrassed to admit he was wrong once he found out they were married? and cut him off from the bar(the actual bartenders said he was NOT cut off). I went to the bar and spoke with the very nice bar manager who brought over his head of security to help sort things out. As the bar manager and i discussed the issue calmly, mr. head of security bulged his eyes out at me and my friend in what seemed to be an attempt to instigate a physical altercation, ya know, the kind of stuff people who smack around drunk people for a living die for… So, after the very professional bar manager said he had to side with his bouncer(right or wrong I get that) i took myself and my 18 or so guests and went to another bar to spend hundreds of dollars. The icing on the cake is i checked my bank statement today and they double charged my credit card. SO go ahead, go here if you want to be double charged on your bill, treated like crap by overly aggressive wanna be tough security, stand on sticky floors and possibly be thrown out while people around you stumble around and sexually harass every girl you are with. I aint mad bro, I just will never go near this place ever again.

I brought a few out of town friends here and it was just an ok experience. The music was uncomfortably loud, the one other table of people there asked could the amps be turned down and the waiter just rolled his eyes. The food was cold, a bit over and undercooked. And the mixed drinks were watery. My friend did say that even though her chicken fried chicken was cold it had a good flavor.

This place is huge! We came with a group of 10 for my sister’s bachelorette party and had a blast. Fun DJ who played a mix of country and rap — if you don’t like country music you’re probably in the wrong place. Plenty of bar staff so getting drinks was easy and quick. Attendant in the women’s bathroom was very friendly and funny; she congratulated my sister and told her how how gorgeous she looked — so sweet!

This place is MASSIVE. I did not expect it at all, but when I went in and paid my $ 5 cover, it felt more like a giant concert venue than a bar. Take this review with a grain of salt because I don’t drink, so I’ll just go ahead with the atmosphere. I visited this place in the winter, so there was no mass of sleazy booty shorts and crop tops, thankfully. However the unofficial uniform seemed to be flannel, jeans, and if you’ve got them, monogrammed cowboy boots(not even kidding). The bartenders were nice, I had no issues getting a water as the DD of my group, so that’s a plus. The band that played was good, they pretty much only played country music, which you’d expect. It was strange though, whenever the band took a break(for about 30 minutes) they DJ’d top 40 dance music. That would get people on the dance floor. Toby Keith’s is a weird mix of dance club and country bar. it just doesn’t quite fit.

Waited 45 minutes to get a table when we were told it would be a 25 minute wait, then we ordered our dinner and so far we’re up to an hour and counting…

I was super excited about this place when I first saw it. I am a big country music lover and thought me my fiancé and daughter would get a kick out of it. We walked in and there were a couple people in front of us and the hosts/servers looked very confused as to what was going on. Took a while to get a table in a half empty restaurant. I don’t really think many of the servers should be wearing the uniforms they have. To be honest not all of them have the body people really want to see. We got to our table and our server was average, she was really good with the drinks for us. Our food took a bit to long to come out, there were groups ahead of us when we first came in but that shouldn’t hold up the food as long as I feel it should. Very hard to occupy a kid for that long, when kids are hungry they are hungry! The food was good portion sizes were very good. Me and my daughter easily could have shared as we had the same thing and we both only ate half our dish LOL. They were also getting ready to have live music, I would have loved to stay to have my daughter listen but we had other plans. All in all I would go back and stay later next time for a show!

My husband, daughter and I visited Toby Keith’s before a cyclones game on a Saturday evening. It was fairly quiet. My husband had a chicken wrap that he liked, but the rest of our food was very poor. I had the ‘sweet bourbon’ salmon. The salmon was dry with the outside being very crunchy and zero flavor. The dude dish of Jasmine rice was one solid mass and very undercooked. My one year daughter had Mac and cheese. It was solidified and very very dry. Not good. This would be the place to go at 11pm for a night of drinking… not fir dinner.

I came here before a Bengals game and really enjoyed it. The place is HUGE, the biggest bar you can imagine and tons of space for dancing. I ordered a burger and fries and must say they were pretty good. I gave it 3 stars for 3 reasons: 1. Very expensive. 2. Service was very slow towards the end. We felt abandoned. 3. The beer barrel smell was too strong for my taste. Overall, I wouldn’t mind coming back.

Not sure about his place. Took me an hour to ge the bartenders attention so I can order food. I asked what time that served food till and told me 1am. When I ordered it took him 15 mins to tell me that the kitchen was closed. It is 12:30am now. Then they tell me that the kitchen ran out of food so they closed at 12am. I am in town for 4 days. Hope I can find another bar to go to that has food while I am here. Suggest going else where for food.

Dude. I could have predicted this, and I certainly wouldn’t have come here but for a birthday, but this is not the place to get food! Very generic menu of burgers, sandwiches and the like. We got the nachos, which were huge, but about half the chips on the bottom were crushed to little pieces. Salsa was ok. The guacamole must have been out of a container. I suspect a lot of the food here is at least partially pre-made. Had the honey bbq chicken wrap which had too much dressing, a lot of breading and not much chicken. The fries were salty and a lot were overcooked. Only generic beers on tap. We had a big group and the server was sweet but it took a really long time to get anything and when the food came out they had no idea who ordered what so it involved a lot of yelling out dishes. It wasn’t busy at all for a Saturday early evening, but it the whole dinner process moved at a glacial pace. There were plenty of staff around but our poor waitress did not have much help handling orders. My relative paid $ 25 for a «private room» but we ended up in a corner of the room by the stage corralled by a partial wall and some Jack Daniel barrels. There was in fact a private room(which they kindly let me use to nurse) that was very nice– it had it’s own bar, comfy couches, and it’s own bathroom. However, they did not give us that room. The bar itself.. huge bar, big space with stage and all concrete floors, neon signs and a lot of tvs. The floor was a little sticky. I can imagine this to be a sweaty, hot mess kind of place for college kids. Not for me, but I can’t speak for everyone!

My husband and I were downtown for a Reds game a few nights ago. We were a bit early so we figured we’d stop for a drink before heading to the stadium. The Grail was PACKED so we stopped in Toby’s because it was empty. Since we just wanted a drink, they wouldn’t let us sit outside. The bar was pretty empty so we went on over. There were 4 or 5 girls standing behind the bar chatting, hugging, checking their phones… It took almost 10 minutes before anyone came to take our drink order. We got our beers and that was pretty much that. We never saw the bartender again. My beer was almost gone and no one ever asked if I wanted another. Several of the employees were standing by one of the taps complaining about their jobs. There was a guy with a guitar on the stage — no one was paying much attention to him but he was alright. I love country music so I was kind of into it. We left around 6:30 and the place still hadn’t filled up(it was a Friday night). I think it could be a fun place for a group of people to grab a drink or something — but the staff just seems to hate being there.

Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill was well… an interesting experience. I feel like it’s a bar made for people in-between college and the real world, still holding onto«the good olé’ days» of drinking well into the night, but also now burdened with the responsibilities of adulthood. You will seriously find the most interesting people here. From people who just turned 21, to bachelorette parties, to adults into their 40s and 50s. It makes for interesting interactions on the dance floor to say the least. The place is huge, there’s TVs all over, a gigantic bar that spans through the middle, tables on the exterior, and a stage for live music. I was a bit surprised/disappointed that there was no mechanical bull, but I digress. The service was decent and the drinks were reasonably priced. When I was there, there was a live band who played a good mix of country and classic rock covers. I thought the band did an awesome job. During their breaks however, the music became really pop heavy, and at one point, the Cha Cha Slide played. I’m not really sure when and where the Cha Cha Slide is an appropriate music choice, but I don’t think it’s at a bar named Toby Keith’s. Anyway overall, this place is fun. People of all ages come out to do one thing, have a good time, and if you go in with that mentality, I’m sure you will enjoy yourself. And just a fair warning, there’s a cover to get in($ 5) and they don’t accept credit cards to pay the cover, so if you go there with a large group, make sure everyone is aware of this.

[INSERT«F“WORDHERE] to the NO!!! This place is a friggen joke!!! Waited an hour to get seated when there were open tables in abundance. Then waited for another 30 minutes for a server to notice we had been seated. Ordered their HUGE nacho platter and wings… easy, right? NOT. The wings were still frozen on the inside so we sent them back and apparently they just microwaved the entire plate because the carrots and celery came back hot!!! As for the nachos… they were HUGE alright! Probably an entire bag of chips on a platter. Problem is, there was enough „toppings“ for about 1 serving!!! WTF!!? Hardly any chicken, no black beans like they said, sure didn’t see any cheese and they offered up one of those small plastic cups of salsa for the entire plate. What a joke! DON’T EATHERE!!! On the bright side, there was an acoustic duo that was out of this world!!! Very Axl Rose“ish»…just superb! Certainly made up for the crappy food and service… well, maybe not! OH…and forgot, went to purchase shirt; nope… out of stock. Shirt #2? Nope… out of stock. Shirt #3??? NOPE! Screw you! TOBY…you need some serious quality control! Never again.

Terrible. The food, the service, the atmosphere. One of the people who came to dinner with us on the first night actually had a fruit fly in her apple pie. The server replaced it, but didn’t apologize. We came back a couple nights later to just drink. We got no service, at all. This could be such a great restaurant/bar, but it need a total staff makeover before the changes could even be started.
