me & my husband ate at this location numerous times, and the service was always great, but last night was another story, our server was horrible, she acted like she was out of it, she couldn’t get the order right, my husband asked for sugar for his coffee, she brought cream instead, I asked for more dinner rolls, never got them, we had to tell her we needed refills, when it was obvious if our glasses were empty(duh) she took extremely long to bring my dessert, her excuse was were busy they’re still making it, I mean how long does it take to make an Carmel sundae… won’t be return to this location

Awful service today usually it’s very good but today I don’t know what happened wait almost 30 minutes for 2 breakfast orders after waiting a while for the server to even come by!! everybody not just our server just kept walking by nobody said hi or nobody said has anybody been with you? very unprofessional after server dropped off food never saw her again not even around the restaurant guess she went home never got drink refills NOTHING asked another employee to speak with manager and of course no one came to table

The reviews of service issues at this restaurant are so real, it’s almost become a joke in our community. Over a year and a half ago, I complained to Bob Evans management about being ignored at this location for more than 15 minutes after being seated. This was in a half-empty restaurant at about 2 p.m. The people next to me also had been ignored so much that they had management at their table slobbering on them to get them to stay. The same manager ignored me. I’m not easy to ignore, and left the restaurant. I let them know why and have only been back once to be ignored at the hostess stand for several minutes. It would appear this needs more than a coach’s visit, and YES the problem is VERY real, despite the reviews of those who might have friends who work there.

I don’t understand the poor reviews on here. I’ve never received anything short of fantastic service or food here. Been coming to this location, the sixth they ever opened, since the 70s. I love this place. It’s a taste of simplicity and comfort. I hadn’t been here in a long time. For some reason I just got caught up in all the new places around here. Then I decided I HAD to try the broasted chicken I’d heard so much about. OMG it’s amazing! So tender, juicy and flavorful! The down home sides are just as good as they always have been and the dessert(double crust apple pie) was bomb! I wish the people that have positive experiences would also log on and share their reviews, this place is FAR better than the reviews on here indicate. Breakfast, lunch or dinner, this place has never failed to deliver me a great meal!

I actually really enjoy Bob Evans’ homestyle food & have eaten at this location over the years without a problem. But, in the last year, I’ve been a few times & service was awful, as noted in the other reviews. We waited more than a half hour just for bread, then 15 or so more minutes for a cup of soup on one occasion. It seems as if they are severely understaffed. Also, I ordered the pot roast dinner, which I’ve had from other Bob Evans locations without issue, & the dinner came with literally one tablespoon of meat atop the veggies. When I complained, the manager argued with me that the dinners get 4 oz. of meat(a tablespoon is an ounce, which I knew from being on a diet where I measured my food for months.) Finally, he agreed to ask the cook if the meat put on my plate was measured, then came back awhile later & set a small bowl of pot roast on the table and walked away. No apology, nothing. We will not be back.

We decided to come here upon learning that the nearest Perkins was closed… annd it was okay. Waiter was punctual, and food was quite good, Except the fact that I had to repeatedly remind the waiter to bring me my fruit smoothie. Food presentation was alright and table was clean. Few minor mistakes that I am willing to look over. Went home with a full belly.

I may have had the single worst meal and service in my adult life at this place. The waiter was late, restaurant was out of clean silverware, hair on food, old food remnants on the plate. The food was poor, cold, and generally this was horrible.

Listen to the reviews. While the food is ok, this restaurant is very poorly managed and it leads to very poor service. We had to wait over 30 minutes for our food and when we got it we didn’t even have silverware. My sausage is dry and I decided to just go to the kitchen myself and got some silverware for us because apparently this was not a priority for our server. Never again.

Overall, Bob’s is not my first choice. I think the food is heavy and full of added fats and oils. I usually like to choose a healthy option on menus. I have trouble finding something to order here on most visits. However, if I’m in the mood for a huge, classic breakfast, I enjoy what I eat. The last time I was there, I went with my great uncle who is over 90 years old. He loves Bob Evans and I love him so I go with him. Their staff are great with him. They listen carefully and if they can’t hear him, they ask him to repeat what he said calming. They also patiently answer all of his questions. I appreciate all that they do for him.

Here it goes… Ordered egg beaters it was runny… yuck and my pancakes was so flat not good for a adult. My server nice I guess. She was so rush at the table. I felt like I was the drill sarget to get my cream and sugar before she rush off. I talk to the manager about my food and it was better the 2nd time around.

Went in with my wife… Ordered two of their specialty potroast sandwiches and 2 drinks. The server lindsey tells us. they ran out of bread for the sandwiches. She comes back again after giving us menus and we decided to not get anything. She then made us wait a period of time and presented us with a $ 4 bill for 2 drinks that were still full. So instead of any apologies at any time she gives us bill after bluntly stating we can pick domething else. never offering to drop drink charge never offering to go cup which on previous. visit they asked if we wanted togo cups«good visit last time… biscuits lil over done» the server made us feel like we were wasting her time… this was just the last straw my wife loves that sandwich but 4 out of 5 times there has been an issue with food and or service
