Called ahead, told me 30 minutes for a wait but I could put my name in, arrived ten minutes later and was told I jumped up to an hour wait. Awful service

I always hear negative things about Red Lobster, but my visit tonight was actually a pretty pleasant experience. We were greeted very warmly by the hostesses and our waitress was very friendly and did a wonderful job serving us. I ordered the snow crab with a baked potato– both were great although you can’t really screw up crab legs. For an appetizer we had their shrimp scampi which was an easy 10⁄10. Everyone in my family(6 of us) enjoyed their meal tonight. And to be honest, I’d even go solely for the biscuits any day of the week!

Haven’t been here lately, but how different could it be? Ordered my normal admirals feast. Tried to order the shrimp vinigerate and they don’t offer the salad shrimp any longer. The meal wasn’t very good. It all tasted as if it was from the freezer section of the local. grocery store. Giving 2 stars only because the service was good. The concensus at the table was that the food quality has gone way down hill.

Food was ok, did the all you can eat shrimp. Shrimp seemed a little overcooked. But for $ 16 you get what you pay for

I like Red Lobster. I eat there somewhat frequently. Two weeks ago, on a Sunday evening my wife and I went in for dinner, was told there was a twenty minute wait, thirty five minutes later I asked when we would be seated and was told by the young lady that we were not entered into the chart even though I had received a table ready notifier. I got mad and stomped out of the restaurant uttering some profanities and we went down to The Tap House grill where we were served immediately. I never mind the waiting time at Red Lobster but the lack of training at the front counter is shameless. This situation could have been handled a lot better with proper training.

One of the best Red Lobsters I have been to. Our server(Zack) was more than on top of his game. Had drinks within minutes. Order taken immediately. Food came out very fast and was very good(I was surprised because they were extremely busy – on a 30 minute to 1 hour wait). I ordered Sunset Passion Coladas from the bar. They were delicious!!! If I lived close, I’d be eating here all the time.

Amazing service despite large parties being there. Manager came by to see how things were. My server was the best.

I love Red Lobsters’ lobsters! Seriously, they have the best lobsters! But, not taking reservations makes eating there sketchy. And their takeout service always takes much too long and it is rarely correct. In pretty sure their management staff isn’t too worried about it. What a bummer!

Our family used to go to Red Lobster for family get togethers years ago when my in-laws were still with us, but I haven’t been here in several years or reviewed it before. However, I still remember the Chocolate Wave cake with vanilla ice cream and recently I’ve been craving it. The third time I went by a RL recently I gave in to the calories and stopped in to get some to go. The Chocolate Wave cake is still very good to this chocoholic. VERY Chocolately: 4 layers of cake and chocolate filling and frosting, and a very smooth tasty scoop of vanilla ice cream with a chocolate drizzle. What a great deal for $ 6.79! The service was great and fast and friendly. The carry out containers are the classy black plastic kind that you can reuse if you want, not the cheap styro kind. They even put the containers of cake & ice cream in a nice bag.

Not stellar. Service was pretty slow, they forgot items, garlic grilled shrimp were under done. Salmon was good.

Coming from Europe I was not impressed. It was ok but I am not going back. It is a bit like a fast-food restaurant for fish

Disappointing doesn’t even begin to describe this experience. I am SO sorry I chose to celebrate my birthday at Red Lobster. From the initial experience of walking in the door to the time I walked out, the experience only went downhill. The night ended on such a sour note, I will NEVER return to this Red Lobster… or ANY Red Lobster. First off, there wasn’t anyone at the host stand, though someone did come in short order. She immediately handed us a pager and said 10 minutes without a greeting or asking us anything. I requested a specific table in the bar area, because both my parents have difficulty walking and it was close to the door. My request wasn’t acknowledged, but we did end up with a different table in the bar area. Since the last time I’ve been to Red Lobster their menu has changed for the worse as far as the layout. The menu lacks organization and the food listings are not in the same sections. It is confusing to figure out and see all the options, especially considering the number of options on the menu. Since I rarely eat fish, I want the experience to be as painless as possible. I settled on a salmon dish on the chef’s special menu. I ordered the small portion… and boy was it ever small. If it was supposed to be a serving of 3 ounces, I’d question whether it was even that much(not really sure what the half portion size is supposed to be). My baked potato was on of the smallest I’d ever seen, which is too bad, because it was the best thing on the plate. I ate one piece of broccoli that was basically raw and tasted like an entire shaker of salt had been dumped on that one piece. The salmon would have been better had it not been served with the skin on it. I find this to be absolutely disgusting and have no idea why restaurants insist on doing that. Yuck! My mother had broccoli that was also not cooked. The BF didn’t have any broccoli. The broccoli my dad received was more cooked… visibly different in color as broccoli is when it is cooked. At the end of the night, I told the server that the broccoli was inedible. A woman, I guess she was some kind of manager, but didn’t seem like she was the real manager(maybe an assistant or shift manager?) came over. I said the broccoli was inedible and tasted like a shaker of salt had been dumped on it. She proceeded to tell me they don’t really cook their broccoli very much(I said it wasn’t cooked ATALL) and then she was telling me how they prepare the broccoli and don’t use salt. It would have been nice had she actually LISTENED to what I was saying instead of trying to be argumentative. Her attitude was uncalled for and a huge foul on the customer service side. I was telling her what my experience was and how it tasted and she was trying to invalidate my comments and argue with me. I couldn’t believe that this woman had a job dealing with customers. And, you should have seen the bug-eyed expression of disbelief she gave when I said I would never return to Red Lobster. Unbelievable! So much for a happy birthday.

I think I always enjoy my meals at Red Lobster, but when I got the salmon this last time it was the best prepared salmon that I’ve ever at at Red Lobster. The broccoli was a little bit undercooked, though I still enjoyed every bite of it. And of course they were very generous with their cheesy bread, and I did partake heartily of it, with a side of Lactaid, lol :) Every so often a girl has to splurge on a bit of dairy laden noms. I also tried a really yummy fruity rum daiquiri, but for the life of me I can’t remember what it’s called. Hurricane maybe? At any rate it was amazing and delicious and I would definitely get more of them if it were summer and not cold and windy out, lol. Check out the photo I took of it, and maybe you can match it to their menu photos, I know there was a photo of it in there ^_^

I hadn’t been to a Red Lobster in almost twenty years. This place was a pleasant surprise. The wait was relatively short, and the staff was attentive. Mys husband ordered a New England Lobster Bake, and they brought out the wrong bake.(He’s allergic to scallops, and the one brought was chock-full of them). The manager came over and actually offered to let us eat the incorrect entrée, and he had the correct meal brought out within five minutes of the issue being brought to his attention. I think the only thing that brought the rating down was the false advertising of the company. You get about half of what you see on the commercials, but the meals themselves were delicious.

I like this place. A lot. Cheddar Bay Biscuits. Great service. Cheap seafood. It’s not a high class restaurant but I am always glad I came when I go.

Came here for lunch today and this place has gone down hill drastically. First it took our server a good 3+ minutes just to come to the table and say hello, with only have 2 – 3 other tables besides us I think he should have been able to handle it. Then in our biscuits we found a hair, gross! I ordered a create your own lunch with grilled shrimp and the scallops and it also came with my side of a choice which I picked the roasted red potatoes. I got 4 little shrimp, cold rice pilaf, the red potatoes weren’t even red potatoes they were white baked potatoes just cut into little squares. The scallops were not what I expected. My boyfriend had a fish sandwich which he just thought was alright. I wouldn’t recommend this location to anybody.

Went to enjoy the endless shrimp(today was the last day) and needless to say it wasn’t worth the wait. My fried shrimp was greasy and our waitress did not even ask us for any refills on our drinks.

My boyfriend and I went to dinner here last week. We both had the mango tilapia, and it was delicious. The cheddar biscuits were great as always. And our server even bought us dessert! I was very impressed with the service, and we’ll definitely be back.

I can get full off the salad and yummy biscuits! My favorite is the wood grilled section. I like to get the salmon and sometimes the shrimp scampi, which are delicious and fresh! Highly recommended! I don’t go to alot of chain restaurants, but Red Lobster is one of my favorite seafood places to dine.

I have been here a few times now for both lunch and dinner. Pros: 1) Courteous and professional staff 2) Pretty decent prices for seafood 3) The biscuits are delicious Cons: 1) Usually very crowded and they refuse to do call ahead or take reservations 2) The atmosphere really varies depending on what time of day you show up, at night it can be very loud and rambuctious however lunch is usually more tolerable. Overall its a pretty decent Red Lobster, you just need to know when you go there and not set the bar too high, it is pretty good considering its a chain.
