This place is closed. Art of Entertaining has taken it over. When I was in there on Friday, I couldn’t even find an employee, so I left. It used to be a great wine shop.

Despite the bleak outer appearance of this wine store’s barely marked windows and signs, you will walk into a smrgsbord of all the wine you could ever dream of! They have wine tasting events on Friday evenings which utilizes their fancy back deck and indoor cushy chairs. I’ve also heard that they have a restaurant here during the dinner hours that also utilizes the back deck, but I saw no evidence of a restaurant when I was there. It looked just like a store. There was one thing I couldn’t leave this store without. They had a giant bottle of limoncello that looked so yummy and was only $ 20! The guy behind the counter said that those bottles fly off the shelf very quickly! I saw a bunch of limoncello in Boston in the North End, but none of it was this cheap. I’m glad I waited!

This store wants to be Cincinnati’s premier wine store, and it may be, but it could be a whole lot better. I think you can sometimes get better wine at the ginormous Jungle Jim’s up in Fairfield, or at a Party Center party superstore. The owners know their wine, it just feels like the selection is a little dated. The wines are no bargain, either.
