I stopped in this gallery on a recent trip to Cincinnati. We have seen this galleries auction offerings for decades and wanted to check it out first hand. The gallery was a dark narrow storefront that looked closed and we had to ring the bell to get inside. A worker bee from upstairs let me in. Once inside I noticed a few nice Rookwood pots, mission oak furniture and quality artwork on the wall. These were top notch and likely expensive. In the back of the gallery we noticed lots of empty shelves and open spaces which seemed odd. When inquiring about the availability of certain works by well known Cincinnati artist the gallery employee seemed clueless about the current inventory. The employee made a call to Mr. Treadway(who we think was upstairs doing who knows what) and he confirmed they had nothing in stock of what we were after. Sadly it seemed Mr. Treadway was just to busy to come down into the gallery to deal with his cashed up customers.
