I’ve put off reviewing this because I have been here so many times and had many different experiences. The walk from my house is 2 minutes so it is very convenient to come here. One thing that is consistent is cheap prices. They always have specials($ 1 drafts on Fridays, monthly shot specials, «mystery import» night, liquor pitchers, etc.) and even when they don’t have specials your tab won’t be a fortune(Their normal well drinks are priced at $ 2.75 which is very cheap compared to other places). When it’s not busy: Personally, I am a fan of empty bars, but here, ehhhhh. When it isn’t busy, that usually means it is a random weeknight and the only people there are the regulars. They have a steady regular crowd of older people, which is cool, but when they get ahold of the juke box… run. I have been here many times having a peaceful drink and all of a sudden death medal(is that even a genre?) blares through the speakers. However, I just went last night and some regulars were playing good music and being very chill, so you never know. When it’s not busy it’s definitely a hit or a miss. I usually play darts. When it’s busy: To my surprise, this place has turned into more of a college bar on the weekends. I was shocked to see tons of kids my age because when it was Baba Budans not that many people came here. When college kids run the scene, it’s usually good music and a more upbeat atmosphere. I usually have fun here and try to get my friends to come more often because it is usually less busy and cheaper then Saint Clair and Macs(which are usually packed). The bartenders are consistently friendly because they recognize me now. At first, they weren’t that attentive. Sometimes they don’t notice when you need a drink but that happens everywhere. Kirby rocks! To sum it up, I like this place. Sometimes I go and want to leave right away because it is just weird/loud/etc, and other times I have an amazing time and stay all night. Definitely try it out.

I love the specials that they have for each day of the week and for the month. I also love the fact that they have WI-FI and TV where you can catch the news and the game and a random Simpsons episode. I recommend Tuesdays and Saturdays for the $ 5 liquor pitchers. It’s worth your money. If you are into pool it’s free during happy hour. And you can shoot darts. I personally recommend the $ 5 dollar pitchers you are getting your money’s worth. They are also currently working on up coming changes so please keep your eyes peeled. The bartenders know your name and it feels like Cheers. Except we don’t have Norman. And this place won’t complain if you bring in outside food.

Great place for drink specials. If you like $ 2 shots and $ 1 beers this is your place. Also has pool table and ski ball.

I usually go to Mac’s but it was packed with the typical loud, college crowd last night and it did not seem appealing, so I went down to the Clifton Heights Tavern. That was my first time here and I thought the service was great– Kirby, Joe and Rich were awesome! It wasn’t your usual college bar, definitely more like a locals spot which is fantastic because that’s reminiscent of how it was when it was Baba Budans. Definitely will be making this my new«go to» when I’m in town.
