This place rocks! I so wish it was closer to home. My wife and I used to get food from Adriatico’s when it was just a hole in the wall. They always had great chef salads(that was years ago). Today we looked Adriatico’s up on google maps and decided that we would try out the new location(for us). It was a very fun environment and Dang! We way over ordered but we really wanted to try as many things as possible. I got the tried and tested Chef salad that I often have dreams about(it is that good). I ordered the smaller salad but it turned out to be huge lots of flavor and easy on the eyes. We also got the Jalapeño Poppers that were out of this world totally unique and worth the trip in an of themselves. We also ordered a Chicken Bacon Ranch personal pizza that just melted in our mouths Italian style crust was wonderful. My wife got a Tossed salad with garlic apple cider vinegar dressing that rocked and a Chicken Pesto Zoni’s. For desert(yep we also had desert) I got the cheese cake gelato my wife got the key lime gelato… Mmmm. All this and a couple of drinks for under $ 50. Left stuffed and took home half a pizza and half the Zoni’s for daughters to enjoy. One tip, this restaurant is located on a one way street, they have plenty of parking but it is just before you get to the location, on street parking is also available. We had a very sweet server who put up with tons of questions and kept her smile to boot. God Bless!

If you’re looking for good quality pizza, look no further, Adriatico’s is a great establishment for all things pizza, it has great service and mouth-watering pizza and breadsticks. Better known for their bearcat pizza, Adriatico’s will satisfy even the most critical pizza connoisseur. Highly recommended location for your pizza needs. Cheers

This place used to sell my favorite pizza, but for months, it’s been horrible. The pizza is now constantly undercooked, the delivery takes upwards of 90 minutes, and it has given me food poisoning twice. I’ve said things 2x and received no response, not even an acknowledgement. I used to eat there once per week and even take my donors from my nonprofit job there. Not anymore. I don’t want myself or anyone else to get sick or eat raw pizza. Peace out, Adriatico’s.

Make sure you get the Sicilian style pizza crust, you won’t regret it! Their traditional wings are very good too! Huge beer selection!

I’m writing this on behalf of my family and from memory of eating this pizza(I have to be gluten free now and cannot eat here sadly). This is some of the absolute best pizza in town! Get the square pizza, it’s the best, seriously. So many toppings are offered, pretty quick delivery all considered and they always call when they arrive at your doorstep, and this is one of two go-to places my family likes to get pizza from, especially if there’s a gathering or party. There’s always coupons in the mailer we get, so be sure to check those out if you’ve not been before or even if you’re a regular. I’ve not had the subs, znoi’s, or pasta, but the breadsticks and mozzarella sticks are a hit with the one kid who doesn’t really eat pizza(doesn’t like red sauce). The wings are pretty good too.

Same great pizza I remember from when I was in college. Couldn’t believe how much the entire area has changed. Nice location, atmosphere, and friendly service.

Great spot for pizza and beer! They have a great selection of beer and they actually have a lot of choices on the menu. The personal pizza is the perfect size, four slices of goodness with enormous pepperoni! I would like to come back here again sometime!

I’ve eaten adriaticos 3 times now and after trying the lasagna, pizza, and wings, I’ve decided their food is just subpar. Two of the times were delivery, and both waitresses I spoke with were condescending and rude. I have given the place plenty of chances at this point and can fairly say this place is a solid 1⁄5.

Adriactos pizza is by far the hidden gem of pizza in Cincinnati. The UC students know all about it, extra sauce is the way to go with the sausage. The pizza is the bomb! Must try!

When I was in college we all ate our fair share of bearcat pizzas with the thick bready crust so as to fill our stupid bellies while studying. Now that I am a «refined adult» fancy man I order the extra thin crust like a civilized person. The heavily spiced crust is very good– mostly oregano. The sauce and toppings all are tasty and seem fresh. More often than not, we order delivery. It takes a bit longer than other pizza joints but it’s worth the wait. The dine in experience is not bad. Service is mixed but usually pretty good. It usually busy and pretty full of college folk so it can get loud. They have an adequate beer selection and it is a good place to watch a game if you are so inclined. Parking can be a pain– if you’re cheap like me and refuse to pay to park. The pizza can be a bit pricey but they print a lot of coupons around the campus so you can usually find a way to get a few dollars off.

I’ve had Adriaticos pizza delivered many times, but just had my first visit to the restaurant. I was really surprised. The restaurant is on the smaller side but very nice. My litmus test for a good place to go — is «are the bathrooms clean?». YES! The ladies room was very clean with the wonderful light aroma of bleach lingering in the air!!!. The pizza was amazing and we will be back! The veggie pizza is my favorite then the one with all the meats! Great pizza place!!!

I had Adriaticos for the first time this weekend after hybernating in my apartment. I didnt feel like going out and was craving a calzone so I stumbled upon Adriatico’s Zonis. I’ll go ahead and give this a strong«MEH». I ordered on Saturday and Sunday… a second time mostly cuz my bf was craving it. My first zoni was peperoni, mushrooms and green peppers. I found it to be way too greasy and it left me feeling full but not in a good way. Sunday we were feeling lazy again so we opted to get zonis again. This time I did all veggies: mushrooms, green peppers and black olives. Although it was less greasy, it wasnt as toasty. I wasnt too impressed with the marinara sauce either. Overall, its a pricey pizza place based on their menu but a good alternative for quick delivery near a college campus.

I wanted to not hate this place because it isn’t one of the big chains, but service was beyond poor. They took down my number wrong and never delivered my pizza, then they coldly told me they could give me a $ 10 discount but they would redeliver the same pizza from an hour ago. Papa John’s it is? I hate that that’s what I have to do here…

This is so disappointing to have to write. Tonight our food was amazing, as was our server. This was our 2nd time to Adriatico’s, which was starting to become a tradition since we went here last year after visiting the Festival of Lights at the Cincinnati Zoo. After our starters, beer and pizzas, which were great, the credit card machine at the restaurant apparently stopped working. The server came out and informed us of this, after having already collected our cards, but then promptly went back into the kitchen with the credit cards so that we were kind of stuck. After coming out again, she said we still had to wait, so I asked to speak with the manager, who never came out. After being held hostage for 30 minutes, the credit card machine started working again and we were finally«allowed» to leave. We had our two young children with us, who ended up going nuts because we had to stay there way past their attention span. Whenever I go out to eat, I obviously intend to pay for whatever I order, however, if something like this happens, the manager needs to come out and at least apologize instead of hiding in the kitchen like a coward, and comp the meals so that the customers can leave. I would have come back several times over which would have fully made up for having had to comp a couple meals, but now I’ll never go back to Adriatico’s!

I came here last night for the happy hour and wing special. But so disappointed. The deal was $ 5 for a pound of boneless wings! Sounded great but when we got our order, the wings were covered in greasy sauce mixed with a sort of breading mush. The wings weren’t even warm and I had to fish around the mush to even find the wings. I eventually stopped eating it because it grossed me out so much. We were with a party of 6 people, but the drinks took forever to come out then we ended up missing the happy hour specials because our server took forever to come take our order and put them in the computer. She also had a very difficult time getting our checks correct, even after we helped her organize our orders. I would have given it 2 stars, but I love their pizza(bonus star). I think I’ll just stick to ordering pizza to go and not going in to the restaurant.

If you like pizza(and I really hope you do), I am almost certain you will love Adriatico’s. I will say the pizza takes a long time, so if you are in a rush, come another time. My recent visit was on a Thursday night and we sat at a high top table. It was nice out, so they had the large doors to outside open for a nice breeze. Our server greeted us quickly, but our beers took forever and came out one by one(maybe saying it took forever was an exaggeration, but that’s how it seemed… I was thirsty). They have tons of beers on draft with good variety so there is something for everyone. My friends got the buffalo chicken eggrolls as an appetizer and said they were great. My pizza, as always, was amazing. Just got a pepperoni pizza Sicilian style(thick). In my opinion, this is the only way to go. Huge pepperonis and a nice sauce that is a little spicy. I have gotten toppings here and they pile them on, which I am not a fan of, so I stick to the classic. A tad pricier than most pizza places but that is definitely because of the quality. It has a sports bar vibe so it is a cool place to come hang out and drink. It’s also a good place in Clifton to take your parents to a sit down dinner when they come visit. Been here many times with few complaints.

I can’t even write a review based on the pizza, so maybe this will be a big olé mess. Came in for a late lunch, sat at a high top, restaurant isn’t crowded at all. It took so long for a server to come by to greet us that my other half said«we should probably just leave. They won’t notice anyway.» Eventually a server came by and had absolutely no knowledge whatsoever about the beer I was interested in ordering, resulting in an awkward exchange. Then the beer took forever to come, then I left without ordering anything. Overall, didn’t feel worth it.

If there’s one food me and my husband both love fairly equally, it would be pizza. Now he definitely wants it more frequently than I do, but that just kind of goes along with my need for variety. I just can’t eat the same food over and over again. But nary a week passes that we don’t have pizza at least once. Yet we still just don’t have a favorite place in town. So, we’ve decided it’s high time we take a closer look at the pizza places around town. Adriatico’s New York Style Pizza and Sports Bar seems to be a fairly popular pizza around here. I’ve had it a couple times at work, and we’ve gotten a to-go order at least once. It’s near the University of Cincinnati campus, so we weren’t sure how congested it was going to be, and we anticipated having to pay for parking. As we pulled up to a meter, I spotted a sign that side Parking for Adriatico’s. Saved us some change! Their small lot is just a short walk away. We were here around early afternoon on a Saturday, so it wasn’t very crowded. Now, I did mention that they’re near campus, so the bar was already full and a little loud. It definitely had a college vibe, but overall a very relaxed pub atmosphere. We started our meal with an order of the Tater Tots. A side of tots with Cheddar Cheese is $ 2.50. It was a decent size for a side with a good amount of cheese, although they were slightly too greasy. My husband loves him some Beer Cheese, so he also advocated for this appetizer, which is served with 6 breadsticks($ 6.99). The beer cheese itself was creamy and there was a good amount of it. The warm breadsticks it came with were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Finally, the main event. We ordered a Medium Build Your Own($ 11.49) with Sicilian Crust topped with Mushrooms($ 1.50 for additional toppings). The husband wanted more cheese, and generally, I’m in agreement with that; however, I found this pizza to be plenty flavorful even if the cheese did appear to be a little sparse. Adriatico’s is uniquely spicy, but they offer lite sauce and no garlic or some specialty pizzas come without sauce altogether. It’s a spice that you’ll take notice of, but it’s not overwhelming. VERDICT: This pizza is priced at average value. The cheese is a little light, but I don’t think it really takes away from the flavor. The mushrooms are fresh, and the crust is good. I think it has garlic baked into it, so it’s the kind of crust I actually want to eat the majority of, instead of passing across the table to my carb-loving husband. I like the sauce, but you may want to go light if spice isn’t your thing. Plus, they have good sides. My husband would rate it 7.5−8÷10. He strongly preferred dining there vs. the takeout from there that we’ve gotten in the past, but he would definitely return.

I have to give this pizza restaurant two thumbs up. It started up in Columbus when I was on transport we would always eat there. When I found out that there was one in Cincinnati on campus and remodel I started to go more often. Hay the food is good the drinks are great and they have good customer service. I fully recommend this establishment.

Ordered a salad and breadsticks for lunch and had it delivered to work. Tasty breadsticks, but a very blah salad. No croutons? Really? Hmm. Ended up going to dine in the very next day with a friend, her pick. Had the breadsticks again, yummm! We also shared a large sicilian pizza with the table, very tasty. Would definitely get the breadsticks and pizza again, but not the salad.

Adriaticos has some of the best pizza I ever had and I don’t understand why more people don’t eat it and why they don’t open more locations. The new location is great, I love the TVs and the outdoor sitting area. This is a good place to take your friends and share a large pizza with. The largest size is huge(the Bearcat) and can feed like 10 people! I’d recommend to anyone to try it.

The build your own calzone is fantastic. I got pepperoni, monzarella, Parmesan, mushrooms and green peppers. I also got a pint of vanilla gelato. All for $ 15.74. It’s expensive, but the portions are great.

I was always wary about Adriatico’s in the beginning, because their bearcat pizzas delivered to school wasn’t always that great to me. But eating it there is a totally different experience! It’s favorite go-to spot spot for pizza when I am near UC! Any pizza ordered there is always good, and the Sicilian thick crust is the bomb! Crispy and soft, just right! The red sauce is not too acidic and not too sweet. Just how it’s suppose to be! All the apps there are phenomenal. Anything fried? Its perfectly crispy and the flavors are perfect. I recommend the fried pickles and their tots! Service is always good and a great selection of beers!

I think my fellow Unilocalers have made it clear Adriatico’s is one of the better pizza joints in this town so no need to really go into the food. But I must say the buffalo chicken egg rolls are AMAZING! Normally, I order my Adriatico’s to go or have it delivered but the bf and I decided to dine in for his first Adriatico’s experience(he’s a Cincy native; CRAZY!!!) The place was pretty crowded for an early Sunday evening but it was the thick of March Madness so there were people watching the game and lots of families. We were greeted at the door and brought to a high-top table smack in the middle of the restaurant between the bar and lower tables. Issue 1 for me: the place is just so small and the seating is not very well set up. Eating at a high-top table is just not comfortable. The service was also lacking which seems to be a common theme with a lot of the restaurants in the McMillan/Calhoun corridor. Our server was incredibly rude about getting my bf another iced tea as well as when we asked about moving from the high-top table to another, lower sitting table(which never happened). After enduring our meal with a couple who was hovering over our table and food while talking to their friends who had seats at the bar I made a mental note that I probably will not dine in here again.

I used to get Adriatico’s pizza in College. They had a small delivery location next to campus in Kent when I was there. They didn’t last long. Lots of competition and a pretty bad location are probably what doomed this spot. When a group of us would travel to Columbus for Ohio State Michigan or any excuse to hang on High street we would get an Adriatico’s sicilian Pie. What set these pizzas apart was the over sized pepperoni and the garlic on the crust. Great thick pizza to soak up a night on High Street. Twenty years later I notice there’s an Adriatico’s in Cincinnati. Road trip time. This location is a sports bar pizzeria. 40 taps line the wall and three flat screens are side by side above. The one thing I forgot about Adriatico’s is that the pizza takes time. At least twenty five minutes. Just know this in advance. You could order an appetizer to break up the time but you would be using up your pizza capacity. I ordered a medium pepperoni and mushroom. It did not disappoint. Garlic, italian herbs on a thick crust. A good amount of sweet tomato sauce covered in cheese covered in Pepperoni. My only complaint would be that the fresh mushrooms were cut a bit thick. They were placed on the pizza raw and the heat or the bake time was not enough for them to render their water. The mushrooms had a bit of a raw taste and texture. Not my favorite but probably someones sole reason for coming here. Not a big deal. This was the first time I ate one of these pizzas sober. They are as good as I remembered. Probably even better after a couple of beers.
