CLOSED! But, they forwarded the phones to the Montgomery location, who took my order without telling me that I was talking to a different store! I drove from NKy to Clifton to find that the store was now an empty lot. When I called they told me that my order was at the Montgomery location. Of course I didn’t drive there to pick it up. These people are really a joke!

This place is freaking amazing. Garlic bread is killer. Don’t forget the cheese though. ALSO Wednesday is half bottle wine. #winewednesday

If you like to eat specialties wood fired pizza, this is one of the best place that we ever found(and we have travelled to 5 continents). Start with their portobello pizza and finish your meal with their one of a kind Apple pizza.

Enjoy everything I have ever ordered there. Apple pizza and the pesto pasta are my favorites, but also order spaghetti with alfredo for my kids and eat their left overs. Sad to read all the negative reviews, and the service sometimes is slow, but highly recommmend this place.

Pomodori’s Pizzeria and Trattoria disappoints. Again. Crust completely burnt on the underside. Toppings just ok. It appears that Pomi’s is in a major decline. An expensive espresso machine that obviously hasn’t been turned on in some time sits behind the register. A sad beer selection that consists of Bud Light, Heineken, Warsteiner and Yuengling on draught(why would anyone waste a tap handle on Bud? It’s like throwing money away). Wine list that hasn’t changed since god knows when. The restaurant was completely empty. Pomi’s management obviously allows their Heidelberg/OV rep to put whatever cheap beer they want on tap. There’s zero Craft on draught. Bottle selections are all Heidelberg, and run the gambit from pathetic to boring(Sam Adams is about as good as it gets). This place is on auto pilot. Meanwhile next door, Adriatico’s has a great beer selection and is packed. Res ipsa loquitur.

Best wood-fired pizza in Cincinnati. We had impeccable service on a Sunday night. Salads are fantastic and the wine choices are good and priced well. We have been coming here for many years and are happy to know Pomodori is still here and going strong. We’ll keep coming back because of the salads, variety of wood-fired pizzas and the price-sensitive wine list.

Was very concerned to try this place after some of the reviews so decided to go with delivery. Well– no delivery on Sunday night– so we got take out.(That’s the only reason they lost a star) Ordered two pizzas– garlic and pepperoni stuffed pizza(not on the menu but recommended by another Unilocaler) and a white pizza with chicken and roasted tomato on Sicilian crust. Both pizzas were impeccably good. And the service was spot on. The girl on the phone was extremely helpful while we ordered and once onsite for pickup — extremely cordial. Seems to me that they have responded to some of the criticism posted here– would recommend people give them another shot. And if not, well I am going to keep going.

The service was awful — I got no refills on my water throughout the entire meal. We had to get our own pitcher of beer we ordered as our server never brought it to us. We also had to get our own napkins, and had to ask for plates since they didn’t bring any with the pizza. Our server offered us Marinara sauce for our garlic bread and then never brought it to our table. We asked for more sauce on our pasta and they brought us cold sauce for our hot dish! The veggie pizza came out with undercooked dough, and the Alfredo was bland at best. The bread accompanying our meal was stale and awful. Freezer bread from Kroger tastes better! The restrooms make a BP bathroom look like Jungle Jim’s bathroom. No toilet paper, no paper towels and completely dirty. GROSS! Gordon Ramsey needs to visit this place ASAP!

Owner/manager was unpleasant at best and malicious at worst. Food was mediocre, if I wanted cheap and fast I’d go to to little ceasers. I don’t see them staying in business with the awesome addriaticos and new pieology across the street. They also towed some poor guys car who was in their empty lot for less than 5 minutes. The owner laughed about it. As if the food was not bad enough his nature ruined my meal, and the place was dirty! Stat away

I’ve had some bad service before, but this is top of my list. They used outdated menus and the owner/waiters were not helpful or friendly. I got my food, and it was burnt. Asked for a new one and it was cold. I ended up leaving hungry and going across the street to eat. I won’t be back.

Best pizza I’ve ever had in my life but worst service I’ve ever experienced. Every time I’ve gone(with great time spans between visits), the wait for food has been unacceptable i.e. OVER an hour for a single pizza when we’re the only table in the whole place. Every. Time. If they can shape up their customer service, they could easily have a 4 star rating. I was generous with the 3 stars, but only because the pizza was THAT good. I special order a stuffed Chicago style pepperoni and garlic pizza– not listed on menu but possible, even whichever snooty waiter/waitress you have says it’s not. Also, they are in serious need of a redecoration. That mural has got to go! BLEAUGH!

Looking through the reviews they have it right: Really good food Really lackluster service It’s going to be hard to get much repeat business at a place that doesn’t treat customer service as a priority. But if you are in a spot and really want some tasty dishes, then maybe you can put up with the lack of attention to detail — slow, wrong drinks, no follow up with specific requests, it’s a bit dirty in there and so on. Hope they turn it around and soon.

This place has some of the worst service I’ve ever experienced. We waited for 20 just to get water, and about an hour and a half for the food. And the food was mediocre at best. I had gotten the hot Sicilian sandwich before, and had enjoyed it, but this time when it FINALLY arrived, there was nothing hot about it. Pretty sure that it had been sitting there for about an hour before they brought it out. Another table just got up and left because they were tired of waiting. The wait staff and food prep crew seemed entirely incompetent and understaffed. Last time I ever eat there. Would not recommend.

Worst ever food, service and place. We had a party of 12, three car fulls! No other customers, red flag. Owner had one of the cars towed. When we asked, he was a total jerk, had to call police who told us he does this often! The employees told us he is the worst employer ever. The place is a joke!

Pomodori’s called the cops on me. Seriously. I ate at Pomodori’s on November 23rd, the night of a UC home football game. The service was bad the prior time I was there, which probably explained why there were open tables about an hour and a half before kickoff. Our service was horrible. We sat for 20 minutes without being acknowledged until we flagged down a passing waitress. Mind you, we were sitting at the table right in front of the kitchen access point in the front of the restaurant. It was half an hour between when we sat down and our drinks arrived. It was another 40 minutes after that that our pizza finally arrived, but only after asking several different people, including an individual who I was told that night was the owner. After our pizza was brought to our table, we never got any service again. We had to take silverware off neighboring tables, our water glasses were never refilled. They just totally gave up on us. I finally approached the counter to ask for our bill and to speak with a manager. I was told the owner was there that night, so I asked to speak with him. By this point, over 2 hours after we sat down, the place was nearly empty besides a table full of one server’s friends. The guy at the counter came back and told me that the owner was busy. I said that I found our service offensive and I wanted to speak to the owner because I didn’t feel they had earned what they were charging me. The guy I was speaking to went in the back and came back out and said the owner was still too busy, and I could leave my number if I wanted to talk to him. I was floored. I wrote my number on the back of the check and told the person I was speaking too that he could call me if he wanted to be paid. He called the cops. I still can’t believe it. I got a call from District 5 Police asking me to call them about a theft incident that I was a «suspect» in. It was a rather amusing conversation. The detective told me it was the first theft charge he had ever invistigated where the«suspect» left a name and phone number. Needless to say, the police are not pursuing charges. In addition to «criminally» bad service, the food was not as good as I remembered either. If you go here, be prepared to be dissapointed, and potentially arrested. There are good pizza places in the neighborhood. Check out one of them.

It is usually fairly easy to get a spot in the Pomodori’s parking lot. It is usually fairly easy to find a table as well. The food is usually really good at Pomodori’s. The wood fired pizzas are outstanding and the salad and pasta options are also excellent. The service on the other hand, while friendly, is usually extremely slow in all aspects(drinks, dishes, and check). We stopped by for a quick dinner recently and ended up being there for two hours due in part to the fact that the check took about 30 minutes to prepare and process. If I were to review this restaurant solely on the quality of the dishes I would give it 4 stars, however the wait, especially for the check is exceedingly long so I really cannot justify more than two stars.
