This is probably one of my favorite coffee place. This place has a great charm. Love Costa Rica brew. Great staff always smiling.

They home roast their beans! They have a wide selection of delicious food, I got a latte and a peanut butter cookie and they were both excellent. Also, their service was incredibly fast! I thought my latte wouldn’t be good since it was made so quickly… but I was completely wrong, it was delicious! They have a large café, lots of seats and it’s an overall quaint environment. I highly recommend coming here!

Place was packed, which normally is a good sign. However, the person working the counter was frankly annoyed that I was there to order, and clearly was closing up for the day despite them being open another 4 hours. The lemon bread was dry, and the pumpkin spice latte was meh. I won’t be coming back.

Since moving to Cincinnati two years ago, I’ve vowed only to support local coffee shops. Coffee Please is one of my favorites. The staff are friendly, the coffee is great and it’s a nice spot to work from with ample electric plugs and good wifi. Recently they’ve begun posting coffee sleeves purchased by patrons with messages like«For a single mom» or «For someone looking for a job.» These sleeves can be taken to the register for a free coffee. I can’t imagine it being super comfortable for someone to take and use one of these but the idea is wonderful just the same. It’s reasons like these that leave me warm and fuzzy for Coffee Please!

I love my drink from here but sad that I don’t want to support the attitude anymore. I am the one who is telling the workers to have a nice day and thank you. Absolutely no customer service if they don’t know you. Just disappointing.

This is my favorite coffee shop in the city! The fact that it’s located in my neighborhood might make me a little biased, but in truth, it’s the best neighborhood coffee shop around if you’re looking for great coffee, friendly people, good food selection and plenty of room to sit and relax for a while or meet friends. A lot of other coffee shops have great coffee(Coffee Emporium, True West Coffee, etc) but their facilities are a little bit challenging or they don’t offer a great food selection. Coffee Please is the whole package AND they roast their own beans. What else could you ask for?! Still can’t understand why anyone stops at the Starbucks down the street when an option as substantially better is available.

I made a terrible mistake today. I decided to give Coffee Please a second chance in hopes that maybe the first time I was in there the staff was just having a bad day. WRONG, as I approached the counter the owner could not be bothered with making eye contact nor could she be bothered to speak to me respectfully with a smile on her face. Perhaps she has forgotten who pays the bills? There are a million coffee shops in town who have great beans, Coffee Please is not the only place to go. I am not a huge Star Bucks fan however I think in the future I will purchase my coffee there as it is still close and easy to get to and they are always friendly. I better name for them would be Coffee No Thank You. They really don’t even deserve 1 star but it was the only option.

Great little place for lunch. Good soups, wraps, sandwiches, and baked goods. Just sit around and hang out.

It’s always nice to have a community coffee shop. This one is a nice setting with a moderate amount of seating and parking. It is frequently very crowded and fairly noisey. The drinks are good not great but fairly priced. The food tends to be pretty good and relatively affordable. Its worth checking out but its not a place where I want to become a regular.

This is an adorable coffee house. The prices are very reasonable. They have tons of choices and fresh coffee beans for purchase. It was very quick to get our two coffees and we enjoyed them on the cute little patio furniture outside. Will return!

I go to Coffee Please a lot. Usually once a week but often several times a week. The food(especially the chicken salad) is delicious. The lattes are the best I’ve had. But the service is ABSOLUTELYTERRIBLE. The majority of the staff are beyond rude. It’s really becoming a problem, and I know other people who have stopped going because of it. The chain coffee shop across the street might be inferior in quality of food/beverages, but their staff is always friendly and accommodating. Not to mention that I get the same exact drink literally every time I go in, and not one staff member has ever remembered it. I know that’s being nit-picky, but it’s really not. If you have a regular that orders the same drink and tips you– is it that hard to remember? That’s what most good service personnel do– yet another example of the inferiority of their staff which is seriously making me rethink going there instead of the chain across the street.

My experience was great right up until I heard one of the young male employees say, «that’s pretty gay,» in response to his coworker. That was pretty disappointing and hurtful. I think they need to do some diversity training considering the majority of the population doesn’t see being gay as a negative thing anymore.

5 star coffee, 3 star food. I’ve had the iced coffee and a White Chocolate Frost(maybe? –something with coconut) and both are worth ordering again. The chicken salad sandwich filled my cravings, but the bread wasn’t the most fresh. The mac and cheese has good consistency and flavor, and they give a nice to go portion. It’s a teeny bit greasy/oily to be the only thing you want to eat though. Be nice to your stomach and add a half sandwich.

At the risk of coming across churlish, know that I asked the barista how she foams and pours the milk for their cappuccinos. She explained: «We foam the milk and pour it over a shot of espresso.» So glad I asked. I said I’d like the micro foam integrated with the crema and NOT spooned on top. She stared at me, blankly. «Uh, that’s not how we make our cappuccinos.» Soon a small cadre of kitchen staff were standing about, looks of consternation on their faces. I had become a «problem customer» and they were all crowding about to hear for themselves how difficult I was being. «I understand that that is how you normally make your cappuccinos. I just don’t want the foam piled on top like an afterthought.» Was I being unreasonable? She trundled off stolidly. I sat with my companion who did her best to avoid my eye. No one likes a scene. A few minutes, it arrived. It was exactly what I said I didn’t want – no crema in sight and milk foam piled high. I said, «Would you mind remaking it? And this time, don’t pile the foam on top.» My companion said I should have been sweeter. I truly wasn’t trying to be a d&ck. She basically refused to remake it, saying that that is how they make it. Anyway, she relented and brought back the same thing. I relented and said thank you and gave up. Clearly none of their baristas have ever had a cappuccino at Coffee Emporium. It’s a nice place, pleasant vibe, and it smells like coffee. But the cappuccino sucks.

I’ve been wanting to check this place out. I frequent a chain coffee shop down the street but have always been curious about this little coffee shop. I recently stopped in for a cup of coffee and I’m impressed! It was about 8am and the service was fast! A small cup of brewed coffee will cost you under two bucks. They even have a frequent customer card that offers your thirteenth cup FREE! I recommend the pumpkin spice coffee. I love this seasonal flavor, so it’s a must when I see it offered. I’ll be back to try the treats!

A nice little coffee shop in Madeira. The location is definitely very convenient, only couple minutes away from the kenwood shopping mall and other big major stores/shops. Their coffee is not bad, smells really nice. Though I think they have too much stuff on their menu, too much options can make it hard to choose :)

This is a really nice place to sit and relax, and a great place for ‘co-working’ or where you just need to get **** done! They have free wifi like any great coffee establishment, it smells great, and it’s homey yet still spacious. They’ve got Jeni’s ice cream by the pint(and in smaller ounce size containers too!) and a huge selection of coffees and other drinks to be had. Their mix of savory and sweet treats can satisfy a heterogenous group of friends, and they sell day-old sweets at 50% off! Score for great deals! Their outdoor seating is nice too! I brought my four legged barker there to sit outdoors and, though I didn’t bring him inside, it’s quite possible they’re welcome since they had a good selection of locally home-made treats for them. All in all, a lovely sit-down coffee place with great ambiance and friendly staff.

The coffee is roaster is right next to the counter, so you can watch if you’re there at the right time. There’s a very large selection of beans and roasts available. You can check them out along the wall to the left when you come in. My wife and I come here every once in a while when we need to spend the afternoon studying. Their coffee drinks are good and their food is too. The place echos a bit, so it can be loud during their peak times. Not my favorite coffee shop in town, but certainly worth a visit if you’re in Madeira. There is street parking in front and a parking lot behind the shop.

Great local neighborhood coffee shop, caught up with a friend today and with the cold, winter weather treated myself to a cup of hot chocolate. Friendly service, they bring your drinks right to your table. They have an eclectic selection of cards, I found a good one for a friends January birthday. When you’re in Madeira stop by Coffee Please, sit back and enjoy some fine brew served with a smile.
