This is a great location, but don’t use the drive thru because not any time of day that line isn’t long! Staff is friendly and provide great suggestions. My drinks are prompt and always done right! Not much parking or seating, but im usually in and out anyways.

This location has a drive thru which is convenient, however the wait is long(waited 20 minutes). I know I went on a Saturday afternoon and it is expected that they would be busy. I totally understand. Now if you are making a left turn out of the parking lot, you might as well hang that up. You won’t get out because of the busy traffic. FYI, the private lot is small and congested. On a positive note, the staff is very friendly and work their butts off. What I usually get is the flat white or a café latte. All the times I’ve been here, it’s made right and comes out hot/fresh. My whole experience was just okay. If you see a long line on the drive thru and you’re in the hurry, I don’t recommend going.

Worst Starbucks ever… After almost dying trying to get into their death trap drive through line in the morning, they didn’t have the blueberry oatmeal I wanted and then they served me a cold undercooked in the center spinach feta wrap. Ugh…

I go to this Starbucks often on my way to work, as well as an occasional lunch or afternoon caffeine fix. The positives: Extremely convenient location to people working in the Kenwood area, the lines which are usually long go quickly, most of the staff is extremely friendly(probably because they get to drink coffee all day) and the quality of the food/drinks is almost always very good. The negatives: This place can be a little scary to get in and out of(traffic on Montgomery Rd. is insane) I’ve seen multiple accidents in the driveway of this Starbucks, the parking sucks but I understand they are land locked and can’t do anything about it, and they occasionally screw up my order.

I have such a love hate relationship with this specific Starbucks. Like really the only love it’s got going in my book is that it’s Starbucks, and that it’s near work. That’s about it. The staff is not friendly. Pleasant at best. If I’m gonna go broke being a coffee addict, be nice to me. The staff cannot seem to manage the long lines and high volume of customers that surge in at one time. The barista always looks like he/she is running a marathon — which speaking from experience has to be harder than being a barista(also speaking from experience cuz I’ve done that too). Time management is key and they just don’t do it. One time I ordered literally just a sandwich and they never put it in the oven. I had to ask 7 minutes later. About 60% of the time, my drink is not made with soy milk, even though they charged me extra for it. This is a problem in itself cuz you know I’m lactose intolerant and they should take more care to ensure I get my order… Not just for customer service but for health reasons. Redeeming factor here is that it’s close to work and that it’s Starbucks. The company stands by getting feedback so when I complain about these types of concerns I almost always get a free drink mailed my way BUT I wish they would take better care to fix these issues.

Let me start off by saying I would not ever go to this location if it wasn’t right across the street from my job. I’ve been coming here for about a year now, and I almost never have a good experience, but my most recent visit has me seeking out other options, even if they’re out of my way, because I am appalled at how little the management cares. I used the mobile ordering on the Starbucks app the other morning because I was running behind schedule and needed to get in and out as fast as possible(normally it takes forever, regardless of how short or long the line is). I was quoted 3 – 7 minutes for my order, and I arrived a little over 10 minutes later. I stood at the pick up area for several minutes without a single barista acknowledging my presence. I finally flagged a gentleman down, and explained I was picking up a mobile order. The guy looked confused for a moment, then began to frantically move around pitchers of tea/coffee(?) and discovered my order hanging in the printer. He got my cups ready, then put them behind EVERY. SINGLE. CUP. that was already in line, which obviously does not make any sense at all since my order should have already been ready! After waiting nearly 15 minutes, I finally received my drinks. Needless to say, I was very upset, not just because of the horrible decision making from a man who made a mistake, but I was also VERY late for work! I briefly expressed my frustration to him, but I did not even get a simple«I’m sorry» from him. I had been live tweeting during this entire experience, and the Starbucks Twitter team reached out to me, but honestly did not fix the problem. They apologized and loaded $ 5 onto my gold card. I guess this was a kind gesture, but they had a screenshot of my order and saw that I had spent around $ 20 that morning, yet they figured $ 5 — which can’t even pay for my usual drink — would fix a ruined day. Avoid this location if you want even decent service. Aside from this experience, they rarely get simple orders correct, and you always wait forever while you watch the employees chit chat about their personal lives.

Good Starbucks. Service is always prompt and patient with indecision. Coffee and drinks are prepared as expected. Parking is awful but it is to be expected in Kenwood.

Literally the worst wifi service I have experienced since dial up. And when I asked what’s wrong I was told — oh yeah, it does that when there are people on wifi. Ridiculous

This has to be the least efficient Starbucks I have ever been to. I’m from Chicago and over they can handle rushes just as big as the ones here with two people less more efficiently. Everyone but the cashier was going at 2 miles an hour despite the fact there was a line of 10 people at all times. No sense of urgency what so ever

I like to stop by this Starbucks on my way to work because they have a drive though! They are always so kind when I order, even at the earliest hours of the morning. They always get my drink order right and they’re always consistent! I only gave it 4 stars because they’re kind of slow… I have been stuck in the drive thru before and can’t get out because it’s so backed up. Don’t come here if you’re in a rush! But if you’re looking for your regular drink, it’s convenient to stop by.

Really awful service. There were 5 guys standing around. 4 of them were focused on the area that services the drive-thru. I’m like 4th in line and 20 minutes later I haven’t moved. The four guys at drive-thru are seriously doing nothing and yawning! DONOTGOHEREUNLESSYOUHAVE A HALFHOURTOKILL!

Most unfriendly staff of any Starbuck’s I’ve been to. I’ve given this store about twenty chances in two years to improve, but they just have an entitled attitude. I get treated rudely every single time. As soon as you walk in the door, you hear nothing but griping and complaining about EVERYTHING. At over $ 4 bucks a drink, I expect to at least get an acknowledgement that I’m appreciated as a customer. Now that Montgomery is getting a new high end coffee house, I’m saying good day to this lackluster Starbuck’s.

I really love Starbucks. The employees are always friendly and the environments are always inviting and relaxing. This particular location is quite roomy. There are several tables and chairs, larger comfortable chairs, and countless outlets for plugins. The real problem with this location is the actual location. It’s positioned across from Kenwood Mall and all of the ridiculous traffic that comes with the mall makes it impossible to make a left turn out of the parking lot. This Starbucks also shares an unbelievably tiny parking lot with another business, making it cramped and impossible to find a parking space. I’ve had to park at the McDonald’s next door and trudge through the grass on several occasions. There is more seating inside the store than there are parking spots available. As if the parking lot isn’t enough of a cluster, the drive thru creates even more problems. It is extremely busy and the parked cars create a serious blind spot for the cars leaving the drive thru which makes it a real danger for pedestrians. I do my best to avoid stopping in to this Starbucks and stick with the drive thru.

I love Starbucks but this has to be the most miss managed one I have ever seen. Been here three times so shame on me. If you like waiting 20 plus minutes for coffee this is your place.

There are two locations that I go to here at home. They treat me like a friend and take a personal interest in me. Most other locations I’ve gone to are very impersonal and half the time I don’t even get a smile at checkout. When I stopped at this location in the middle of a road trip I didn’t expect much. I just wanted my Starbucks and this was near by. At first it was par for the course. Then I reached the cash register. The guy who waited on me made me feel like I was back home. He joked with me and even wrote«Jenny from the Block» on my cup. It may sound odd that this made me happy, but here at home they are always joking with me like this. It was a place that made me want to stay! Too bad my traveling partners wanted to hit the road. I wish I had the guy’s name so I could recognize him on here. I do know that he is a coffee master as he was wearing a black apron. If anyone knows who he is, give him a pat on the back for good service. The other reason I wanted to stay was that the store was set up really well. For a small location they really made the best of it. They even have a little reading nook! My only qualm is that the parking lot is very cramped and is hard to turn into from the main road.

The coffee here is great the staff is friendly and I really enjoy my time at Starbucks! The most frustrating thing about this location is that there is a handicapped spot outside that people park in all the time. I don’t understand what sort of morals someone has who can just park in a handicap spot like its nothing.

Love the drive-thru! But I often park and go in instead since the car line is usually long. Have never had an intolerably long line inside. Service has always been decent. Could be friendlier. Though no one laughs when I ask for my drink at kids temp. I really like the breakfast sandwiches — toasty and warm. Just the right amount of cheese on the ham and cheese one; not too high on the calories. Hard for me to resist the cinnamon coffee swirl cake. Though even the reduced fat version isn’t very calorie friendly: o(The parking lot is small and a bit difficult to maneuver, but this Starbucks is in a very convenient location.

If you like long waits regardless of how many people are in line you should come here! Every time I come here I wait the same amount of time, it’s AWESOME! Have some place to get to? Come here and be late! Want to watch people in the drive thru get served over and over again before you do? Come here! Want to wait for your drink while 4 employees sit and gab about their daily activities and no one works? COMEHERE! On the plus side, they do make your drink correctly ¾ of the time.

I tend to frequent Starbucks from time to time and I enjoy it. I find that if you go after the morning rush, you are more likely to get a seat and if needed do some work. I went to this location in Kenwood probably 10 minutes before 9 and was able to have my pick of seats for the 9am meeting I was set to have. I am pretty boring as 99% of the time I get a venti hot chocolate. Some times I will engage in a true sugar rush by grabbing a cranberry bliss bar, yum yum yum. For the more advance coffee drinkers, this review probably won’t help as I don’t drink coffee but it seems like Starbucks has tons of caffiene options for you.
