Wouldn’t recommend this place. The bathroom had no soap, so you know the employees are not washing their hands… I’m now nervous about getting dick from the food…

Traveling through and seeking a place for dinner and a quick drink. Even though we were the last customers in the door and eating the staff made our experience very pleasant. They went above and beyond to make sure we went back to our hotel with food in our tummies. It was very much appreciated

Good food… Just nothing fantastic. Tacos where good. But the beans and rice were bland. Service was great, friendly, and great with refills.

The overall quality of the food served here, considering the pricing factor which is on the cheaper side, is not bad. The entrée choices from the menu average $ 12~13. I have personally dined there twice. The first time was alright, nothing negative or positive in particular as I didn’t use any coupon or ask about any specials I guess. What I really hate about it is their unethical business practice of phony promotional coupons and specials. This shows the attitude of restaurant to their paying customers and to me, is a major factor for any review. Here’s 2 negative experiences over one dinner that I have had there: 1. I have recently visited the restaurant on a Thursday where they have a «All Day Drink Special» for«Margarita Special(ALL Margaritas) ½ price», word for word letter for letter as printed on their promotional coupon and on the signboard hanging on the wall inside the restaurant. Yet, before we ordered our margarita drinks, we asked the waiter if the margaritas are half price and he answered ‘yes’; except when we were paying for the bill and asking why did the drinks we ordered are not getting any discount, the waiter replied«only LIME margarita are ½ price!’. I didn’t want to say anything any more as I think I’d be wasting my time and energy for less than $ 5. 2. We brought a coupon that says«$ 12.99 for any 2 Combos» from the ValPak. Yet when we asked the waiter about which items on the menu are actually eligible for the coupon, we were told ‘all Combinations, but not the Combos’. Is this a marketing department error or simply phony trick to lure the unwary customers? The combinations are $ 4~$ 5 cheaper compared to the combos, btw. Anyway, I am not going back and would suggest you to avoid it too unless you are really sure that you’d like to deal with this type of restaurants.

I’ve been to this restaurant over 30 times since they have been open. I’ve never had bad service until yesterday. My friends were already seated and waiting, they immediately commented that the server was rude. I kinda laughed it off because I’ve never had a bad experience here. But as soon as the server came back I saw what they meant. He seemed drunk, sleepy and greasy. He made us repeat our orders because he wasn’t listening well. He forgot what I wanted to drink and came back to the table to ask even though he was writing stuff on his pad. When we were ready to order, he rudely said«I’ll be back» like we were inconveniencing him. I was disappointed but mostly amused at how not put together he was. And he thought he knew me which was weird and creepy. The food was good, I asked for corn tortillas but got flour. Not sure if I’ll go back.

Authentic Mexican restaurant, it’s been here for 6 – 7 years, and has a lot to offer: big space, rarely a wait, even on weekends; fresh food always and excellent food overall for the money, great comp salsa, far better than most Cincy-Mex salsas; competent fast service. Fiesta Brava has a fairly creative menu; you know how you go to a Mexican restaurant and you could swear they reprinted the menu from the other Mexican restaurant down the street? Not here. Fiesta offers more than a few twists to the usual south-of-the-border fare. The service is absolutely stellar in terms of wait time for drinks, food, etc. You are swarmed by 3 – 4 people by the time your food arrives. Very clean, plus a bar with lots of beer selections both draft and bottle should you need a cerveza. Try the chicken tortilla soup(a meal in itself), or the cheese enchiladas with smoked pork on top. This is our go-to place when we’re craving non-gringo grub. I’m not saying drive 30 miles to get here but if you happen to be around Loveland, Mason, Harpers, Montgomery for whatever reason: Get yo Mexican on at Fiesta, amigo. I will take this place over 98% of the Cincinnati Mexican restaurants.

Chips were overcooked… Salsa was good. Chimichangas were small, not much food for the main dish… Otherwise okay… Table next to ours had cleaning supplies left on it with a dirty rag… Not what I wanted to see…

I was glad to see this former Bennigans and Hooters location become Fiesta Brava. Just a few miles away is another Fiesta Brava and we had been eating there for years, but after moving away– this location is more convenient for us. The staff at Fiesta Brava is attentive and never more than 30 seconds away when I need them. This is your basic, local Mexican restaurant, the menu is pages long, and I’ve never been disappointed. My favorites on the menu include the white cheese dip, the chimichangas, the chilles rellenos and the basic taco salad. The food portions could be a little bigger for what’s being charged– I don’t feel like the value is there as much as it used to be.

I stopped in at this Mexican joint last week to meet some former coworkers for lunch. I’ve driven past it before, but never dropped in. We didn’t wait to be seated, and the service was prompt. The atmosphere and decorations are stereotypically Mexican, but the food was good. The basket of chips they brought out was overflowing and a group of four didn’t need to ask for seconds which was surprising. The«hot» salsa here isn’t bad if you’re of the spicy persuasion. One of my friends ordered a chimichanga, another had a vegetarian lunch and the other had a beef dish I believe. I went with the El Jalisco, a more traditional menu item made with grilled chicken, ground beef cheese and pineapple. Tasty! This meal could probably be made at home but it seems like something I enjoy eating out, so I’ll leave it at that. The one low point was with my beverage which seemed to be grenadine with soda instead of soda with cherry flavor. Talk about overload! Nonetheless the meal was a good one, and I had good company. I’ll be back to try more menu items, but I expect the fare to be prototypical Tex-Mex.

This was okay — salsa was okay, the chips were not great. I won’t be coming back — I’m searching for the more authentic Mexican food.

All I can say is El Jalisco! This is my favorite entrée but notice that this is not a consistence menu item on many Mexican restaurants in the area. I was so excited to find they prepare this dish. The El Jalisco is wonderful! You have to try it. It is a flat tortilla with ground beef, chicken and pineapple covered in cheese sauce. You have rice in the side as well as tomatoes, sour cream and lettuce. This is a definite team lunch place for my co-workers and me. I have them addicted to my fav entrée also. The chips could use a bit more salt and I’m not a salsa person but my team seems to eat it up. They carry Pepsi products which is a big hit for me, I love Mountain Dew. The customer service is pretty good. I come in at least twice a month and they always remember my order. If you are in the area give it a try.

It’s damn good Mexican food. The staff is friendly and, usually, pretty attentive. They all call you«Buddy» which… kinda makes you feel at home. And… the food is amazing. It’s one of the better mexican restaurants in the area. Plus… it used to be a Hooters!

Came here for a lunch with 10 people. Pros: Plenty of parking, good location, and plenty of space indoors. Friendly and courteous wait staff Cons: Food is a bit pricier versus El Rancho Grande and not as tasteful. The salsa that comes with chips is also better at El Rancho Still prefer El Rancho for cheap Mexican

While out shopping Sunday we decided to try Fiesta Bravo. The parking lot was almost empty, only a couple of cars, that should have been my first clue. The atmosphere was like your average Mexican Restaurant, kind of dark and dingy. The waiter was courteous and food came out promptly. The appearance of the food was good as well as the taste. Now for the disgusting part, after scarfing down most of my burrito, as I was cutting into the last third of it, I noticed something that initially appeared to be fat or baked chicken skin. As I’m pulling it out of the burrito, I soon discovered it was a plastic wrapper!!! Apparently it was baked into the burrito. I became nauseous immediately. I then showed it to the waiter and he promptly took it away. After five minutes of waiting for a reaction from the staff, someone finally came over and apologized as best he could in broken English. Needless to say, this is one establishment you want to avoid.

Solid Tex-mex in the Burbs. Nicknamed Cheap mexican by my co-workers, you will find the food resonable and plenty. I usually have chicken nachos which are excellent. The salsa and chips are tasty, fresh and sometimes a little spicy. Be sure to order a mexican coke or the special sodas from Mexico.

My wife and I eat here often and we have found the service to be great. The food has been better than we expected. The price point is very reasonable. We have gotten many of our friends to go and they have been pleased as well. We reccommend this as a great place to go.

I was a little bit disappointed with my experience at the(relatively) new Fiesta Brava restaurant on Fields Ertel Road. I had heard a few great things about the small chain’s other two local restaurants so I was excited to try this location. The salsa we were served tasted almost exactly like cheap, store bought bottled salsa… it wasn’t particularly fresh and it had no exciting flavor whatsoever. The chips followed in the same footsteps, I’ve had better tasting Tostitos right out of the bag… these were almost stale. Thankfully, our entrees were pretty decent. I enjoyed the Burritos Verdes while my partner raved about her chicken fajitas. Our rice was a little on the sticky side, as if it had been sitting around under warming lights for too long, but our beans were perfectly prepared. The restaurant was actually very busy when we visited on a Wednesday afternoon at 1pm and it took us a little over an hour to get seated and eat, so don’t stop here if you’re looking for a really quick bite to eat.
