Fridays

We decided to visit the new Fridays on Colerain on a Thursday night. The inside of this place is top notch. The staff was very friendly. It did take a long time to get our appetizer and then out food. Just a FYI if you get spaghetti for you little one it’s a slight bit spicy. My daughter would not eat it. They did take it off our bill but that took more time. They have a deal that is sweet tho called the jump burger. You order one of their special burgers and you get a future one free. You have to keep your receipt. There is a code for it on there. They are really big burgers. One thing I thought was weird is all of the staff was huddled at this area by these computers. We asked her why they were all there she told us those were the only cash registers in the whole place besides one other one on the other side. Um that was a stupid thing to do. They need like 4 or so more. Overall I will probably go back but I may wait a while till they work out the bugs. I saw some desserts I want to try.

I went to Fridays today prepared to enjoy my pasta. I usually get cajun shrimp and chicken pasta but no shrimp because I’m allergic. Today however they put shrimp up under my pasta only after 4 bites did I realize I had shrimp in my pasta. I quickly told someone.
They did make a new dish but half way through the meal it become hard for me to shallow. I know I had benadryl in my car but I had my son and didn’t want to leave me or look as though I was skipping on a bill.
Anybody that knows me knows I don’t complain about much. If you mess up my food O is fine I’ll just eat this. If you forget to refill my drinks that’s ok I’m ok anyways. But when you try to kill me and the only thing you ask is if they remade the dish for me. You don’t offer to pay my bill but look at me like I’m crazy and in the wrong yea I get upset. I’ve worked in customer service my whole life. I try to not complain or give anyone a hard time because I know how difficult it can be. But come on now who wouldn’t know to give someone a free meal if you tried to kill them. I Won’t be back to that location. But not to mention you had no meds on hand.

Someone at Fridays corporate office needs to justify charging 10.99 for one 6 to 8 oz glass of peach sangria. Jesus made wine cheaper than this. I get the markup on alcohol but come on. Another thing when are restaurants ever going to clean off the menus and the salt and pepper shakers and all the condiment containers. Any manager worth a damn should know when you have slow time you have everyone clean, windows, seats, floors, Bathrooms. And anything else that needs cleaned. It is not rocket science.
