Full Throttle Indoor Karting

This facility is top notch from start to finish, I had an incredible experience! The karts are high performance and I felt like I was in a miniature Indy car. Full throttle sets the bar very high for indoor karting in the Greater Cincinnati/​Northern Kentucky area. Perfect for hosting an office get together or a bachelor party.

Was fun but they don’t tell u how long it will take to refuel & had to wait almost an hr.

Loved the racing! Long wait.
One of my friends has been raving about this place for weeks so we finally went.
After registering and paying, they told us that there would be a two hour wait to get in on a race time. Since we had four of us we figured that there would be a wait so we ended up leaving to get dinner and came back.
They were doing construction on the larger track, so we traced on half the track which ended up being about 15 laps. I was surprised by how fast the Go Karts could go on that little track. It was so much fun!
After your race, the print out sheets with your statistics. They look at your best time around the track, and your relationship to the other cars on the track. I was curious to see how my stats lined up with other women who have raced here before but they don’t break the stats down and that way.
Now that I know what to expect, I definitely want to do this again and race much faster! LOL

Loved this place. I’m not really into racing but I had a wonderful time. A little pricey in my opinion. I wish the races were a little longer so you get your money’s worth. Other than that I cannot complain. They also have friendly staff that were awesome!

I feel the need… the need for (youth racing) speed! Full Throttle is a great afternoon activity to break up your weekend. When babysitting my adorable cousins, they decided they were bored and wanted to do something fun. Hello, go karting! Youth races are $ 15 per person.(You have to be at least 8 yrs old to race.) Adult races are $ 20. You sign up for a heat, watch a quick safety video and then wait for your turn. You have to wear a neck brace and a helmet which… I have to admit… made me feel cool even though I’m sure I looked like a dufus. Races last approximately 8 minutes. Once you’ve finished, the scoreboard keeps track of how your group did! Though the race ended quickly, the cousins and I kept jabbering on about how much fun it was for several hours after.

The staff here was very understanding of my daughter and it being her first time driving anything.

Had a birthday party for our 10 year old daughter and her friends here. It was a blast, the girls loved it. The staff was friendly, helpful and kept everything moving and on schedule. Interesting comment from a manager that he was delighted to see a girls’ party there. What a shame more daughters don’t get to experience this thrill!

We attended full throttle on a non busy Friday night however because the employees at the checkout counter felt it more important to socialize with the other guests and their co-​workers we waited 20 minutes in a line that had only ONE couple in front of us. I’ve never seen this kind of disregard for customer service in a long time. After 20 minutes we kindly asked one if the 3 employees behind the counter if maybe they could help us and they informed us that they were «busy”(busy gossiping).
After the horror of paying the over priced fee to race we got to watch a «safety» video that described how these geniuses invented their own flag. This flag removes ANY competition from this track. When they wave this flag your are supposed to let the person behind you pass??? Seriously?!? This is what racing is all about! and with the addition of this yellow and red flag they single handedly killed the experience. My recommendation is to stay away from this place and go to the track in Lawrenceburg. Not only are they cheaper, but they actually let you RACE!!!

Fun and fast times!!! Went there on Saturday afternoon. We had ten in our group so made reservations and paid ahead of time. This sped up checking in. Us newbies to the place went to the self-​service computers on the left at registration and put in basic info. Then you move over to the right side and they provide you with your tickets and head-​covering.
You wait for your group # to be displayed, then you’re taken to a pre-​race area. You watch a safety video, then go and put on your gear. You don your head-​covering, a helmet (the guy helped ensure that I had a snug enough helmet), and a foam collar. Then you go out to the indoor track and watch until they signal that it’s your turn.
The majority of the group LOVED it! I was just so-​so on in. It was fun, but just not my cup of tea. I can check that off my list though. You should try this at least once though!

OMG what a thrill this place was! I went with my meetup group and EVERYONE was a fan. It’s a great activity for old & young, men & women. My only issue is that the Cashier could have been clearer initially about the sign-​in process. And the Guide rushed through my questions and walked away from me when I needed more help getting my helmet on.

This place was AWESOME! I took my nephews there. One’s 8-​ish (wink-​wink) and one’s 9 years old. No problems getting them on the track. I wanted to race with them, which meant we were riding the slower cars (used for the younger fellas). Nevertheless, it was SOOO much fun! Even the slow ones felt pretty fast. I can’t imagine how much fun those full-​speed carts are. The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is that it’s a bit expensive. I think it was about $ 100 for three people to do two 8-​minute races. A bit steep. Maybe if they’d let us all roll on the big-​boy carts I’d be giving 5 stars, but I understand insurance liability; so no worries.
Also, I was impressed by how attentive the track staff was. It’s got to be boring as all get-​out to watch the same race over and over. But those guys were all on point and took care of track issues quickly and efficiently. Good stuff.

Full Throttle Indoor Karting is not like your usual go karts. These babies can haul!
With speeds of up to 40mph, you’ll be feeling the g forces in those turns.
For about $ 20, you get 8 minutes of racing. While that doesn’t sound like much, by the end of it you’ll be feeling exhausted. It’s quite a workout taking those turns and keeping your kart from crashing.
Once you’re done with the race, the fun isn’t over yet.
Full Throttle also has two GIANT slot racing tracks. You might remember slot racing from when you were a kid; well you have to try it again because Full Throttle has some really cool cars and the tracks are just gigantic.
I went with my dad and little brother and we had a blast. It was an afternoon full of racing fun and I can’t wait to go again.

I took my husband here for a date early one Saturday night and we both loved it! The karts were clean, well-​maintained, and super fast!!! Way faster than I expected! I was skipping around most of the turns, haha. At the same time, I felt totally safe there– their safety gear was in great condition and there were staff members all over the track to make sure no one was driving too recklessly (something I was kinda worried about before going). Also, there was a very helpful instructional video that tells you everything you need to know about how to start the race, how to drive the car, all the rules of the place, etc. Very helpful! Overall, this place seems to really make an effort to answer any and all of their customers’ concerns so that you can just have fun racing! I highly recommend trying this place– it makes for a very fun and unique date :)

BEWARE! Unless you are a «regular» I would not recommend this place. Clean, nice track, but the staff is clearly more focused and concerned with those who frequent the place. My son took his dad as a Father’s Day gift and it was such a disappointment. We watched others go in pairs, and even singles, yet they put this novice Father/​Son duo on the track with some punk that was trying to beat his own time. Even when they pulled to the side so the guy could pass, he hit my husband twice and my son once. When we brought this to the manager’s attention, he wasn’t the least bit concerned; nor did he try to right the situation by letting them take another run. No, actually what he did was go over and laugh-​it-​up with the punk and other regulars.
Needless-​to-​say, we won’t be coming back.

Yes I wish it was outdoor just because I want to imagine I’m on a race track and I want to be able to roll across the curbs to carve a shorter line through the course rather than be bumped back by the bumpers. However, being inside is great for all year fun.
The karts go fast enough considering the course is a bit tight. I wouldn’t mind a slightly longer course that allows you to open it up a bit more, but that being said, this requires a lot more finesse and concentration which helps you improve your driving skills.
I do wish you could see your lap times while you are racing, however, I understand their reasoning behind not distracting the drivers. I have mixed feelings about the group racing vs just solo lap timing. It’s a lot more fun with a group, but depending on who’s driving at the same time, you won’t be able to get your fastest lap times.
They are very professional and have a good instructional video, safety training, safety gear, etc. They take it seriously and that’s great.
It’s a nice facility with some other fun games to keep your occupied, like slot cars. I was surprised by how fun this was and I would definitely do it again.

Wow this place is cool!
I got to check it out yesterday and it was amazing. The only real kart racing of it’s kind in the city (and only one of about 100 in the entire country.) This isn’t your basic put-​put kind of go-​kart place, this is the real deal.
I feel like I have to say it: his is where you go if you’ve got the need … the need for speed!
These are full fledged gas powered karts and inch off the ground, so when you’re driving, you feel everything. Oh man, it is fun.
You pay up front and then sign a waiver (since it is dangerous after all). Then you watch a short video where they explain things like your equipment (helmets, neck braces and all) and about the flags (they use the same flags on a professional course, so things like yellow is something’s wrong or blue and orange means someone is trying to pass you.) They can also control the cars manually from a computer station if something goes wrong.
The course has a warehouse type feel. You are inside (so no worried about weather) and the air is constantly being monitored with state-​of-​the-​art system, so while is has that tire and gas smell, it doesn’t choke you out.
You drive around the course, which is blocked off by tired and barriers. It’s very easy to see where to go and once you go around a few times, you get the hang of it and kick it up a notch! Damn, that was fun.
These guys are constantly trying to make the course better. If there is a turn that’s a little tight, they make it wider. They’re going for you to have the best possible experience you can have.
This is a fantastic addition to Cincinnati and if you’re ever feeling like getting behind the wheel and gunning it, this may be your next spot.

I ran into this place to get a gift card for someone for Christmas, & cannot give it a fair review based on that alone as far as the track.
What I can say though, is it’s a great idea to have an indoor track in the city. There isn’t another one that I know of. 45 mph sounds pretty great as well, so I definitely want to try it! It looks like a fantastic place to have a birthday party and I hope that they get the word spread quickly so they can make this place even more awesome!
The only things I noticed is that it seems they could have made the track larger for how big that building is. they have a game area that’s kind of empty and I think they could utilize that space better. The prices seem kind of steep as well. I spent $ 25 which is just for one race alone and that doesn’t include the rental of the head sock or helmet. This might be reasonable though. I’m not an avid go kart gal so I’m not sure what the prices should range.
All in all, cool idea in a great area. Ready. Set. Go!

This is not your ordinary go-​karting experience. These guys let their carts go 45mph, and the track is challenging enough for riders of all ages (and abilities) to enjoy. 7 riders are allowed on the track at a time, and each race lasts about 8 minutes. Riders are then ranked according to their lap times. Full Throttle does a good job catering to all ages by grouping kids together and then letting the adults battle it out on their own races. The races are also heavily monitored. Several staff members remain out on the track to help racers who have spun out or to pull flags on riders who are driving recklessly. All the cars can also be controlled by the staff who are able to slow down a rider if the car gets out of control.
If you at all enjoy the idea of go karting, this is a place to check out. It just opened at the beginning of the month and they already seem to be doing some good business. When they’re busy, it can take a while for your ride to start. If you don’t wanna wait, you can go online and purchase races. Then you’ll know when to show up without having to wait around. Or they also have pool tables and arcade games to keep people occupied while waiting for their race to be called. For a good deal on memberships and races, go on groupon or do a quick google search for Full Throttle coupons.
Direcctions: You cannot see this place from the main road. It’s tucked behind Target and a few other businesses. If you’re on Kemper, look for 5 Guys, turn down Commons Dr, and continue down a slight hill til you start seeing furniture stores. Full Throttle is on the left.
