Gramma’s Pizza

Great Pizza Resturant! The people there were so helpful and I really believe this is the best pizza place around. Definetly Recommend this to anyone that is new to this area.

I have been eating at Gramma’s Pizza for 20 years, originally at the Bethel location when visiting family. This location is convenient to my mom’s house now, so we often get it on our way back.
Love the atmosphere here and the food is great!

Ordered a pizza, Hoggie, salad, and appetizers…
Pizza came out before anything…
Then had to ask about appetizers…
Pizza was mediocre… Hoggie meat was for sure frozen meat pattie… Just order Pizza Hut and save yourself the trouble and money…

Grammas had always been my family’s choice since I was little. I will NEVER order from there again solely based on tonight’s experience with the location on old 74…
I ordered pizza at 7:30pm there were certain toppings unavailable but I ordered anyways. they estimated 45min-​1 hour… About 2 hours went by so I called to see what was up because we are only 7 minutes away and my husband had to be in bed for work in 30 minutes at this point. The girl over the phone seemed confused and said the good «should be there any time now». So assuming it would only be a few minutes, I waited… well, a half hour goes by so this time I am angry because now it’s time to go to bed since we work early. The girl once again said it would be any minute. I told her that I was told that about an hour ago and we are less than ten minutes away so if it wasn’t gonna be here in 5 minutes then I wanted a refund… so another person got on the phone and said that the pizza was en route and we would not be charged because it has taken so long. Unfortunately we fell for this and waited for another 30 minutes…
This time my husband called and asked for a manager and a man named «Seneca» answered and knew it was us… immediately he tried to cover his tracks by saying they tried to contact me a few times initially because there were problems with my card (never received a call) which didn’t make sense negate both times I called to check on our food, they said it was on its way. My husband asked for the general manager, so the guy have us the name and then asked if we still wanted the food… Was it even made? My guess is they forgot the order and never made it, which I get it, mistakes are made, but they lied and had terrible customer service, not to mention the past couple times we ordered, they were late. We will not be ordering from them again!

Terrible service. We had an ordered delivered (after waiting an hour) it showed up wrong. Called back and they took another 45 mins to deliver the right order. When we called to check on it no one had a
clue what was going on. If you’re looking for friendly service, this is not the place.

Okay, so I ordered the pizza at 8 and was told that we would have to wait an hour. Okay fine. 40 minutes later I get a call saying that they can’t drive to my house. Mapquested it and I LIVE 10 MINUTES AWAY! The guy on the phone said they don’t go past 125. I don’t live past 125, and tried to explain this to him and he would not listen. I waited 40 minutes for them to tell me I can’t have my pizza. Never even going to try this place. Ironically we are not too far to send coupons. Disappointed and hungry.

I LOVE Gramma’s pizza… I mean, it’s arguably the best pizza in the world. This is a newer restaurant location. I grew up going to one of the original locations waaaaaaay out in Bethel. The aesthetic of this location is MUCH different from the one in little olé’ B-​Town, so that was kind of a shock to me. I kind of missed the small-​town, country feel that I grew up with, but that’s just nostalgia kicking in! This location has a lot of TVs and a full bar so you can enjoy watching a game while you dine. I definitely recommend trying this place out.

Gramma’s pizza is a hometown favorite of mine. This new location left me feeling like I should have driven a few extra miles to get the real thing.
Positives:
— More like a sports bar, you can actually eat inside this one.
— Nice patio
— $ 1 PBRS!
— Top of the line TV’s
— Super cheap as usual — only $ 17 for an XXL party pizza.
Negatives:
— The service was almost nonexistent and we were the only people in the entire place. We had to get our own silverware after waiting for her to come back and our pizza was getting cold. We wanted some ranch and she was nowhere to be found again, we had to go up to the chef counter and ask them for some through the pass. I found this kind of odd because she was smiley and friendly, but just never came back.
— I hate comparing restaurants but this is not a franchisee it is still owned by the original Gramma’s family so I need to let you know, the pizza failed by comparison. Where was the grease?!! I talked this up so much to my friends and I feel like that greasy goodness I usually get at the other locations was missing :(
Overall — I would hit up this place for a pizza to go. If you want the pizza I grew up with and the pizza I am still standing by as my favorite of all time — check out the Ohio Pike, or Bethel locations and see my review here:

This place is a no nonsense pizza place and I like it. Sure, I don’t feel like I’m getting gourmet pizza or crazy-​awesome topping choices but sometimes you just want good pizza… covered in garlic butter. Oh? Did I not mention that the entire pizza is brushed with garlic butter? This should probably be the only sentence you need to read before mentally deciding to run out and try this place but just in case you needed more motivation the price is pretty outstanding too. For instance they have an XXL pizza which starts at $ 17.00.
When your pizza comes out, grab an edge piece… the crust is basically a bread stick. You’re dinner companions will be so impressed by your knowledge of this place and the super delicious bread-​stick-​crust-​situation that you will instantly leave will 10 more respect points. Also, the cheese fries were pretty awesome too… so keep that in mind. Fries + melty cheese + bacon = Yum.
This location is clean and sparkly although I wasn’t greatly impressed with our level of service since we were the only table in the place. Maybe grab it to go?

All I can say is– I don’t really take much to pizza, but I LOVE grammas pizza, it’s delicious, reasonably priced and the eastgate location is killer

For that old time Mom & Pop pizza parlor style pizza, there is no place better than this. Pizza and hoagies are the best in Cincinnati. Don’t expect gourmet toppings, that’s not what they do.

We used to live here years ago and were in town visiting family and as always we had to visit our favorite pizza spot which is Gramma’s pizza ! We always go for the BIG MOMMA and it never disappoints, dough is mad fresh daily the cheese is hand grated daily as well which makes all the difference in the world when it comes to pizza. Another fave is the steak hoagie with mayo (aka) the Texas steak hoagie! This hoagie accompanied by a well-​done order of crinkle fries and a cup of hot sauce is a perfect meal… Me and my family been going here for years, we highly recommend this place they have never disappointed…

We live close to this place and it is amaziggggg. The fried pickles are my fav and the pizza is always good. We do pickup because the last time we had delivery it was cold… But I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Just be sure if you call on the weekends you’re ok with a wait.

Good food. Mediocre service. I’ve only ever ordered delivery from them, it’s never been on time and I’ve had to remind the driver a few times that we didn’t get our entire order.

I was told delivery would take an hour. After an hour and ten minutes, I called and was told the driver was on his way. Delivery took an hour and twenty five minutes.

Great pizza, service is lacking.

I have been eating here for about 15 years and sadly the quality of food has seemed to have declined in the last year or so. Regularly food items are forgotten when getting delivery. The fries have been soggy and cold, and the hoagys have been burnt. I tried to call today to speak to a manager but I was told that «one wasnt there» and then she hung up on me. Its sad because this place used to have great food. I hope things return to normal.
