I fancy myself a traveler, which means I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels all over the world and I have to say this hotel was a very pleasant surprise! No offense to Cincinnati, but I did not expect this hotel to be SO great! Ok, let me break it down… First, location, location, location! It’s right downtown on Vine Street and a short(less than a mile) walk to Paul Brown Stadium. I stayed here overnight to watch my Steelers beat the Bungles in the wildcard game on 1.9.16. Second, there are a bunch of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. I even noticed a Hustler Club less than a block away. Restaurants included a sushi place, a sports bar, a higher end looking place and many more. There was also a PNC Bank ATM across the street, which was VERY convenient for me. Third, if you need a ride to the airport — go with Executive Transportation. The cab ride from the airport to the hotel was $ 40(I think the dude scammed me, but that’s another story), and it was just $ 22 from the hotel to the airport. Fourth, every staff member I encountered was very nice, hospitable and accommodating. They answered questions very capably and assisted with information I requested. Fifth, you can tell the hotel was re-purposed from being an office building of some sort previously. The finishes in the lobby are beautiful. My room was spacious and very clean. Sixth, washers and dryers were on my floor(8)! It was very convenient especially given that it rained at the game and I needed to wash/dry my clothes. Seventh, the breakfast. So breakfast was included in my room rate and I was pleasantly surprised at the spread they had. It included hot foods(eggs, meat & starch), cereal with milk, fresh juices, coffee, variety of breads to toast, yogurt, oatmeal and waffles! All to be eaten in a spacious and clean dining room area with TVs. I also noticed they had a valet in lobby who remained very busy. Every time I went downstairs he was working to get someone’s vehicle. Great experience. I don’t expect to ever be in Cincy again, but if I am — I’ll be staying here.

Pretty sure we got a decent discount on our room price, otherwise the small annoyances would have tempted me to drop a star. Overall, our two night stay was great. 8th floor. Huge suite(seriously larger than most Manhattan apartments), very tall ceilings, big windows. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Decent breakfast options and convenient additional market area. Complimentary bottled water available at the front desk. Mostly clean. Floor in front of vanity was a bit stick and shower caulk along bottom needs replacing soon. It was very quiet in the hotel itself. However, we like it cold at night and noticed the thermostat only went down to 67 and had no option to run the fan continuously. Annoying due to the fact that it clicked three times whenever it kicked on, which was every 15 minutes on the first night. Thankfully, there *is* a ceiling fan, but it makes various mechanical noises on each speed level. And at 5’3 or less, good luck reaching the pull cord – had to stand on the office chair to lower the speed to avoid waking tall SO to do it for me. Nitpicking further now. The kitchen faucet is silly. There closet and bathroom doors are loud when shutting. Curtains can’t completely close with it difficulty due to dresser placement. Also, no robes and no safe. A cost hook by the entrance door would be a nice touch. The shower/toilet room was not well-designed in general. First, the door, which is oversized and whose path sweeps the entirety of open floor space, could too easily collide with the glass shower door. The shower door has no bottom seal, which means a lot of water escapes if you’re not careful. These nuisances are extraordinarily annoying because the hotel is virtually brand new as of April 2015 according to staff. I’d expect those problems in an older place. Didn’t bother with valet. The underground parking garage directly across the street is staffed overnight, well-lit, spacious, has an elevator, and is reasonably priced. Yes, I’m picky. I admit that. My gripes are minor because without them, the experience it would have been truly exceptional. As it is, this place is way above average(at least for the price we paid). Would absolutely stay again.

First impression: is this random man on the street really valet because the first floor of this hotel looks like a bunch of vacant/couldbeanything stores and not an actual hotel. I literally hesitated to hand over my keys because the set up looked like a scam at 11pm on a Friday night. Good news is, I still have my car and those were real valet guys. Bad news — I learned they swap around their nametags as a joke? Not cool when you’re handing over one of your most valuable possessions. More good news: –the rooms are beautiful and spacious(the direction the shower doors open could use some tweaking) –the breakfast offered everything from biscuits and gravy to an oatmeal bar and fresh fruit –staff was friendly –location couldn’t have been better in regards to downtown Cincy and Fountain Square

This is was a neat experience for my wife and me for our weekend getaway from delta ohio. The front desk was very courteous and was able to show us where all the neat attractions where for us to visit in the city. The room was like a mini apartment very clean and comfortable. It had everything and more the free hot breakfast was very delicious and the space for you to dine is was neat and comfortable. It is newly renovated and in the heart of the city cant beat it for the price. We will definitely be visiting there again real soon.
