Howard Johnson Inn Cincinnati

We stayed here with a group of 26. The smell was evident the minute we walked in the door. It was a combination of must and cigarettes. We found a bed bug in one of the beds. Stained towels, soaking wet carpeted floors, blood on the walls. Found cigarette butts in the fire extinguisher. Wifi didn’t work. Absolutely the worst hotel experience we’ve ever had.

What ever u do don’t stay here. There is so much wrong with this hotel. For example they charged me twice for the same room. Half the lights in the room didn’t work. The cards to the room didn’t work. The sink was broken. The water had one temp (hot). There were ants all over when we woke up. There’s a club right outside the window playing vary inappropriate music for my girls to listen to as they sleep. Ants all over the room (including in our bed) when we woke up. And the best part is is that they had tried to blame us for all of it. Again stay anywhere but here

We stayed at the hotel for business. The hotel was close to a mall, restaurants, clubs and other establishments that made the stay very comfortable. The staff was friendly and the room was worth the price. Great stay.

It was hard finding a hotel during the music festival, but this one was reasonably priced and in a good location for us since we had a reunion the same weekend. It wasn’t great, but it gave us a good night’s sleep.
Service was good at check-​in, disorganized at check-​out. The room was clean, but there were dings and dents, along with a mis-​matched toilet seat and an air conditioner with a broken cover. The bed was comfy. It wasn’t noisy in the morning (or we were just dead to the world…)
It’s really not awful. Just not that great. I’m sure when there are more hotel rooms open in town there are better choices. But it worked for us for one night.

This is probably the worst hotel I’ve ever seen in person or on TV. The staff is horrible they raise their voice and Yell at customers. They do not change your room if you have no AC or heat working. And the place is riddled with bedbugs. Here is proof

There is so much wrong about this place that I am not going to free up THAT much time to write a book about this place. But I will give you the juice.
First of all. the woman who runs.owns.whatever…I heard her yelling at 2 different guests. because they had reasonable complaints.
One guest was complaining about «bugs» in the room. It’s winter time. so that is more than likely bed bugs. or roaches.
The second guest was complaining because they had their kids with them (BY NO MEANS LET CHILDREN STAY HERE!!).and a woman was «offering» herself to any person who passed by in the hallways. She even pointed her out on the cameras that the desk can see at all times. She asked if they could handle the situation and the female owner got VERY defensive and said.“We do not have those types of people in OUR hotel!!” Keep in mind. I found out this hotel has a «Swingers’ Weekend» EVERY MONTH! Apparently half naked people drunk and doped up. walking around the same hotel you may be staying at with your children. Nice.
Once again. DO NOT BRING CHILDREN HERE! And. you should find a different place yourself.
The guy.husband.whatever he is. finally comes down and is smelling up the room with all the alcohol he has apparently consumed.
I made it ONE night there. Filthy. The rooms smell like mildew. The internet wouldn’t connect. When I was leaving to grab a bite to eat. we saw people using the windows to go in and out. There was. what appeared to be. a «glob» of mucus in the hallway. don’t know. didn’t want to. The room hadn’t been cleaned in awhile. Found a condom wrapper. several beer caps. a comb. couple pens and sucker sticks all under or around the bed… and dust everywhere. The walls are stained. The carpets are filthy. The halls are loud… and smoke-​filled. The cops were there 2 different times through out the 14 hrs I stayed there.
They were having water issues and the water got shut off for almost 5 hours. I heard someone say this happens often. The drawers are busted and broken. Both ice machines were broken. The soda vending machine was spitting out the wrong overpriced sodas. The TV sound would go in and out. ATM was out of order. Blah.blah.everything’s broken.blah.blah.
I’m stopping. the more I type. the more angry I get with this place. You pay too much. and have to put up with 100% CRAP service. The Board of Health. The City.Superman.somebody needs to do something with this place.
