Jet’s Pizza

I had this delivered to a hotel late one night in Cincinnati. It was just okay.

Stopped in for the lunch special on this idle Wednesday. Greeted by Katie, who was fantastic in helping me decide what to order. Kids split the $ 5 lunch special, which was two deep dish pepperoni pieces, and a 20 oz soda. My wife and I split a large deep dish, half Hawaiian, half buffalo ranch chicken. This is some seriously good crust! Thick, flavorful, and crunchy on the bottom.

We ordered a chicken Parmesan sandwich well done and a custom built deep dish pizza with tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, and ham with jet’s turbo crust. This is the first time I have had a deep dish pizza and I must say that I have found a new love for pizza. Fantastic food and I would definitely recommend it to anyone. Delivery was prompt too!

Not great… Called in a pickup order and the guy on the phone didn’t know ANYTHING!
Pizza was average, blah. Asked for pepperoni on the side (for breadsticks) and he told me «we don’t have anything to put it in… I guess we can put it in some foil?» What???
Was our first time, don’t think we will be back!

It’s okay. The prices are pretty good and we had a coupon. But I didn’t think it tasted that great. the sauce is pretty bland and the dough tastes frozen. I actually. Think some store bought frozen pizzas taste better. Plus, the pizza competition is pretty fierce around here so you need to stand out. Average.

I was very disappointed in our first Jet’s experience. We ordered a thin crust pizza, a chicken parmesan hoagie, and a Greek salad. The hoagie/​sandwich was the best thing we got, it was grilled chicken, marinara and lots of cheese on a really soft roll that they didn’t split all the way in half, helping to hold in all the good stuff. I would get this again.
The pizza was a huge disappointment. It had almost no sauce, so it was very dry and bland. I can’t say much more about it, just that it was disappointing. If I had to order it again, I would order extra sauce to see if that helped. I have had Jet’s deep dish pizza at work functions, but I’m not a big «dough» person, my favorite part of pizza is the sauce and the toppings, so I don’t enjoy the deep dish either. The deep dish pizza also makes me feel so guilty, because it’s very greasy and/​or buttery, like an inch of dough soaking in oil. Yuck.
I was very excited for the Greek salad, but it had almost an inch of feta cheese covering the entire thing. The feta was so overwhelming, I don’t even know what else was in there! And I LOVE cheese. My husband said, «I have never seen you removing cheese from something, usually you’re adding it!» but this was way too much. I don’t think I would order this salad again.
We have really been loving our «new-​ish» Marco’s pizza lately, and I think we’re going back to them after this Jet’s order. It was overall just so underwhelming and we’ve had much better pizza and salads elsewhere.

A lunch special with 2 deep dish slices and a 20 oz soda for less than $ 5? I’ll be here weekly!!! I really like their deep dish pizza. The crust is pretty crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. On their pan pizza, you can get flavored crust. We’ll have to try that sometime.
Their 8 corner deep dish is my new favorite pizza in the area. They always send out $ 11.99 coupons for it if you live in the area.
The place does have a small dining area with just a few tables and chairs. I could see them adding a TV in the room maybe somewhere down the road, but for now there’s nothing but the tables and chairs.
