I only grabbed a coffee before a meeting downtown. Its a nice little shop and the staff were very friendly and my coffee was ready fast. I can’t speak to the food they serve since I was in and out in five minutes.

RUDESTAFF! Hate to say it, but at Starbucks when you pay $ 6 for a coffee/latte and pastry, they’re at least somewhat friendly. You know, eye contact and acknowledge your presence even when crowded method. This place was dead(shocker) and the staff still acted inconvenienced. For a local business to compete you should at least have individuals with basic people skills working the register. #rocketscience

8⁄7 — Had a taste for some freshly squeezed lemonade, low and behold Kitty’s serving up fresh lemonade so I ordered two. I ask the server how the lemonade was made; if it was freshly squeezed it or was it done with a juicer, well she had this grin on her face and replied that she didn’t make it and that she had never tasted it. ITISAWEFUL and it taste like it came straight out of the plastic green bottle with the yellow top. What a fraud! How disappointing; shame on you Kitty Coffee how deceiving! No wonder the girl didn’t answer, she knew it wasn’t at all freshly squeezed. For this I give you an F for failure to tell the truth. How horrible Kitty Coffee. Kitty probably purchases their coffee from Starbuck’s to resale as their own. Who Knew. smh shame, shame, shame.

Good value pick at lunch, the grilled sandwiches are really good and range in price from 3.95 to 4.95. Housemade soups are good too.

Looking for a good cup of hot coffee? Get to Kitty’s coffee! This little coffee shop delivers every time. The staff are always friendly and willing to answer any questions you may have about the menu. I haven’t tried their food yet, but I know they offer a few lunch options and baked goodies. Check them out!

I love Kitty’s Coffee! It’s a great local option right on Court Street(there is also a location in Mercantile building). Kitty’s offers great coffee, speedy/friendly service, and even food options! The coffee selections vary day to day. There’s always a regular, dark, flavor, and decaff option. On occasion they’ve carried Highlander Grogg which is one of my absolute favorites. I may make more than one trip there on those days. The flavors are always pretty interesting. I’ve enjoyed most of them. They also serve lunch options as well as some baked goods. I’ve tried their pumpkin bread and banana bread and both were quite delicious. I need to stop by and try one of their sandwiches sometime. If you are in the area I’d definitely recommend Kitty’s before going to a chain. The all around experience is much better!

Tried to stop but no parking so I’ll stop in the burbs for coffee where you can actually park your car to support a business.

Best Coffee and Sandwich Shop downtown. I eat here 3 – 4 times a week.

Found this little place while walking around after jury duty and was pleasantly surprised. They play classic rock and everyone in there is super nice. The food is excellent as well. I had a chicken basil pesto panini and it was just amazing and really hit the spot. I love this place and it makes jury duty not suck so hard.

I am so glad this is close to my work! I can come here after a meeting and grab myself some caffeine to pull me through the rest of the day. They are reasonably priced, locally owned and really good coffee. I always love when I can go to a local coffee shop versus a starbucks because I enjoy supporting locally owned AND I enjoy when my coffee actually tastes yummy and not burnt. I do wish they had more baked good options, but I understand that can be difficult when you aren’t a chain. Also, what’s up with the dunkin donuts next door — they are getting to be as bad as starbucks! Don’t go there — go to kitty’s! It’s way more delicious and you’ll be supporting your own!!!

I work downtown, so this place is perfect. It is reasonably priced for the downtown area and find their drinks delicious. I am a Starbucks lover… and this is pretty comparable in taste, price, and atmosphere. The only down side is that inside is always hot– But I can overlook that– I recommend the Iced white Mocha!

Ever walk into Starbucks, order something, and then when you finally wade through the line and get your drink, it’s either not hot enough, too flippin’ hot, or there is more foam than drink? That always ticks me off cuz I just paid about two times too much for something that I could have just gotten at Kitty’s. I like Kitty’s. They actually have two locations: one on Court Street near Tom + Chee and the courthouse and then the other in the Mercantile Center building by the 5th Street bus stop(look for Curritos on 5th Street and walk through the two sets of double doors to the left). These guys always have kick ass service and everything always tastes perfect. Best of all, I’m not broke when I walk out. Need I say more? Give someone more deserve your business. Support Kitty’s!

Pumpkin Spice Latte was great. It was served super hot(which I love) so it wasn’t lukewarm by the time I walked out the door. There were a few books along the wall that one could read while sipping on some coffee or other beverage. Prices are great! If I worked or lived downtown I would definitely frequent this place. There are 15 syrups listed that one can add to their drink. I think I might have to get a hot chocolate and add the toasted marshmallow syrup. Sounds delicious. They only accept cash so put away your credit cards.(P.S. «Kitty», have you thought about using Square? )
