I love Larosa’s in general, but this location is particularly impressive. I order carryout from here on average once a week — it’s convenient to work, and delicious every time. Every order has been done perfectly, very quick, and the staff here couldn’t be more friendly. Awesome!

Wow this is some bad pizza. No flavor, under cooked; it’s like bad cafeteria pizza. I’m not sure what else to say as Unilocal!Requires more words. Delivery was prompt; but wings and pizza were just awful. I mean this isn’t a food town, but this was just so bad.

This location has the nicest group of employees. It’s carry out and delivery only. They are fast and consistent. Keep up the good work Antwan.

Updating to say that the last three times we have ordered, our food has been piping hot and delivered in or around only 30 minutes. I am glad to see management has been making some significant changes for the better. Keep up the good work!

The pizza arrived with the crust undercooked and inedible. OK, people make mistakes, no big deal. However, when I called on 5÷2÷2014 at 1:30PM to let them know, the surly female supervisor told me that they would issue me a credit toward a future order. I said that I don’t live in Cincinnati, so that wouldn’t really do me much good. With continued snark, she informed me that that was all she could do. I quoted her the company words on the confirmation email I had received: «Our goal is to provide you with excellent service, excellent quality and excellent value — every time. If you would like to let us know how we are doing please let us know by calling us. We will make things right.» They DIDN’T make things right. If the company culture is to be a bit*ch to customers, let the buyer beware.

Here’s why: for once our order was cold. Called customer service, immediately transferred to location manager. Manager apologized and credited entire order. Business done right. Future pizza(etc) orders belong to you guys, not Domino’s. Thanks again!

This isn’t the Larosas I remember from my childhood but it works in a pinch(sometimes). Kinda makes me sad to see the quality continue to decline while the prices always increase though… But it is what it is.

Blech. When we moved here, everyone said that we had to try La Rosa’s. It’s sweet sauce pizza. We tried it a second time, thinking maybe it would grow on us. Nope! Worth trying once if you’re visiting or new to the area, but it’s not going to become our new favorite pizza place.

Gross. Ketchup on cheap dough with low quality toppings. This just proves that there’s no such thing as quality pizza chains, but man, even for a pizza chain this was disgusting.

Gotta love larosa’s! Regardless of their pizza, which is pretty good, just nothing special… Their calzones, especially the Philly cheese steak, is so good, I would shove aside small children to get one. Amazing. Go there, eat it, so good!

This place has good Pizza. The sauce is very sweet which creates a unique flavor and style. Its not NY pizza or Chicago Pizza. It’s Cincinnati Pizza– whatever that is. Either way, if you are in the Natti, it’s a must-do– if for no other reason, because its a classic.

I understand why Cincinnatians love Skyline and Izzy’s, but I have never figured out why anybody enjoys La Rosa’s. Their pizza is crap. The crust isn’t chewable, the sauce is tasteless and because of the heavy layer of cheese, you lose all of your toppings on the first bite. This review is based upon many, many experiences which are all the same. They must have hired some kind of business consultant 5 – 6 years ago, too. They changed their look and menu and started offering a bunch on non-pizza items that taste more like crap from Domino’s at best, but more like freezer items. Two solid thumbs down.

Mixed results from this place. We had their pizza delivered for lunch at the office and I wasn’t impressed. The Hungry Howie chain pizza I order at home is much better. Later in the week we had 2 more pizzas delivered at the hotel and one of them was very tasty.

This pizza was delish! It was smaller than I expected, but hey, thats probably better for me too. Anyways, let me get started: so the sauce on the pizza was amazing. I like sweet sauce, and this was perfect. The veggies were fresh tasting and great. We got the pan pizza crust and it was good. I would definitely order this pizza again. Yummy!!! Eat pizza here. :)

Just like Skyline, LaRosa’s is Cincinnati’s sweetened version of a traditional dish. It’s not as completely different from your usual pizza as Skyline is from usual chili, but the sweetness of the sauce is noticeable and occasionally hated, though I think the herbs balance it out very well. What they’ve done indisputably right is the crust. No matter your preference of girth, the crust has the right texture, be it the light thinness(but not crackeriness) of the traditional, the fluffiness of the underrated SuperCrust, or the rich thickness of the deep dish pan. As a former pizza cook, I can attest that cheese usually goes on with a heavy hand(however, I maintain my hands were veritable scales), though toppings can be erratic depending on how low the stock is getting and how backed up the orders are. Calzones are especially subject to poor quality during rushes, though you might get a bonus when a hurried cook overstuffs it.

I’m from Cincinnati but I live in NYC now. I also visit Chicago on a regular basis. So one could say that I’ve had some of the best pizza the USA has to offer. And LaRosa’s ranks up there with the best. Chicago-style wins my heart for sure, but for ‘regular’ style, LaRosa’s wins. Yes, even up against famous New York pizza. Why? The sauce, for one – which I do not find overly sweet – and the cheese. The traditional crust stikes a great balance between thin and still having substance(i.e., it’s not a cracker). And the toppings are awesome. Every time I come home for a visit I make sure to have a pie or two. Love, love, love this place.

I grew up on this pizza. It might not compare to a New York style pizza or even a deep dish Chicago pie for that matter but it’s a hometown favorite. I prefer the focaccia style crust to the original which can have a crunch to it, but is never skimped on the sauce. Do yourself a favor and get a salad while you’re there. It’s nothing fancy, but I can’t go without ordering a side of the fresh iceberg lettuce and homemade dressing.
