I give this place a 2.5 because the employees were so nice and smiley. The ice cream on the other hand wasn’t good. I got a twist. How can that be messed up? The twist was beautiful but taste awful. The brownie Sunday wasn’t what it looked like. There was hardly any brownie in the Sunday. It was all fudge and ice cream.

Can’t wait until Spring for this place to open! place! Frequent visitor in the summer time! Wish there was better parking, so many people all the time. Hard to park, but a fabulous problem to have! We love the drive-thru as well.

The prices, portions, and variety of food is what makes the place so good. Its been my local spot growing up and any time I come back to that side of town. Their flurries are large and have plenty of toppings within, their customer service and speed of service is also very phenomenal. Anyone who has come here knows how packed it gets… they serve people with a quickness as to get more customers in there. I have eaten at a lot of dairy places and this one is by far the best ever.

This place was great! It has a great setup for kids. I remember when I started going here as a kid in the early 90s and they have all the fun ice creams they make setup in the window. Things like«The Cookie Monster» Or «The Clown» they just take the ice cream and make it fun for the kids. I didn’t have a great childhood on the west side but the Lil Goodie Shop was for sure one of my best memories.

This little goodie of a shop has more than just soft serve. The Lil Goodie Shoppe has dipped cones, sundaes, soft pretzels, hamburgers, hot dogs, and a few other goodies that escape me right now. We only went for the soft serve. I got the coffee & cream. I really enjoyed the initial flavor. Once the flavor stripe/swirls are gone so is much of the flavor. I was left with a light coffee and mostly cream flavor. Still a nice cone. A little creamier than some other soft serves I have tried. The kids liked their blue goo & green apple cones. My husband wasn’t wowed by the bowl of strawberry shortcake he got. He would have rather have had a cone. It was a nice treat on a warm summer day. For those on the go, they have a drive up window. Though, it did seem like the walk up window was moving faster.

This little shop is just around the corner from where the wifey’s family lives, down Springdale road. It has a drive through and a good amount of parking. There is outdoor park bench style seating with umbrella coverings. Lil Goodie has all sorts of ice creams and fair type foods. The wife said the Glacier was the best but neither of us got it on this trip. I had a chocolate shake and she had the chocolate ice cream cone with chocolate sprinkles. Everything was good. A plus is that they have a public water fountain on the outside of the building to wash down everything you just ate.

Can’t say enough about this place. The quality is great and the service is top notch. Nice, shady places to sit along the creek. Makes us sad when season ends!

Big fan. Friendly staff. They have a drive thru or a walk up. Great place to take my boys for a treat. Love the fact they have soft server as well as sherbert and sugar free. We have eaten dinner there as well and the burgers and dogs at not bad.

I’d like to give them 4.5 stars. When I lived in the ‘Nati this was one of my favorite places to frequent. The products they have are quality. They are your typical cute mom&pop owned soft serve ice cream shop. They have a lot of options as far as sugar free, low carb, frozen yogurt, sorbet, and the like. The ice cream flavors are pretty basic, but I think that’s how most soft serve places are. They have great sundaes, floats, freezes, ice cream sodas, and shakes. I went there one time wanting my favorite ice cream soda from a big name chain and they were able to make it as good as I’ve ever had it from the chain. The owners and workers are super friendly, service is great. You can tell it’s a local favorite because on hot summer days there’s somewhat of a line. It’s open from spring til fall, closed in the winter. It’s definitely worth a stop if you’re driving on 74 past the Harrison Ave exit.
