Yum! Came here for lunch after reading some Unilocal reviews. It was delicious! I had the gyro and my sister the lamb kabob sandwich. The sauces were stellar and the pita bread fresh. Do yourself a favor and order the baklava for dessert. It does not disappoint! The service was slow as there was one server working so don’t come here if you are in a hurry.

Excellent food, great atmosphere. The service seemed to be lacking, but the food was worth the wait. When I got home, the farts weren’t lacking.

I love Greek and Middle Eastern foods so I was excited to try out Mirage. Great service for our group. Quickly ordered and quickly served. Enjoyed my gyro but a little heavy on the onion, but the meat, sauce and bread were delightful. My friends ordered the spanakopita and weren’t impressed. Other friends ordered the sampler appetizer and enjoyed it. Worth trying out again to taste more of the menu.

If I could give this place a zero I would. Came in was seated and give a menu. No one even acknowledged me from the wait staff. No water. Waited 5 to 10 minutes and hand them their menus back. First time, last time.

Another one of my all time favorites. The food is delicious and the menu has tons of options. Portion sizes are generous and the prices are fair. If you decide ti dine there, the Mushroom n Nut appetizer is a must.

Take out basics were knocked out of the park. Mirage was impressive, and tasty. Mirage staff was friendly and accommodating for my order and even offered a water while I waited for the food to be ready. They had plenty of napkins and utensils, so that’s a start… better start than some places. Now the food. I wasn’t expecting it to be so good and maybe that’s why it caught me off guard. The Greek salad was solid with plenty of cucumber and feta, blocks of feta, and the dressing was top notch. Hummus and tabouli sides were well portioned and probably some of the best I’ve had recently. I would say that they probably need more pita; it’s delicious pita, but almost inadequate amount for the piles of food they give you. No idea was the dining experience is like, but food was top notch.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Came in with a group of 10 and made a reservation. The restaurant«forgot» about our reservation and didn’t have staff waiting on us when the place was empty. Couldn’t handle checks for any of us, overcharged group and included tip with terrible service.

Went here a couple of days ago ordered a lamb gyro with fries, tad bit expensive… however I will never go back they literally give you like two slices of meat on your sandwich.

I got the ½ order of a gyro salad. The yogurt sauce and cucumbers were excellent, the only downfall was the gyro seemed like it was just thrown on there and they used the sour/tart stalks of the lettuce leaves. I wish they would have used only the leafy portion and took the time to remove the stalks. Otherwise the sauce was perfect and I ended up eating the meat mixed with the cucumbers and it was quite good!

Had a great experience at Mirage! I had the combo kebabs with chicken and beef. The meet was cooked and seasoned perfectly. I am very picky with my seasoning and the taste was spot on!

I typically do not eat Mediterranean food, but a group of co-workers and myself went there for lunch. All of the employees were very friendly and attentive. The restaurant appearance was nice and also clean. We arrived at approximately 11:30 so there weren’t many people there, maybe only one other couple, but got a lot busier as the lunch rush came. We tried the hummus with the warm, soft pita bread, DELICIOUS! For my meal, I had the chicken kabob with rice as a side and lentil soup. The chicken was FANTASTIC! Whatever marinade they put on there was so good. I also tried some of the beef kabob that one of the guys had ordered and it was also really good. Will definitely go back again.

Ordered takeout over the phone. Kind of hard to understand the employees accents but I ordered the falafel plate and enjoyed it. Will order if again.

This place is a hidden gem. It has an upscale atmosphere, but is also family friendly. There is something on the menu for everyone. My father does not like ethnic food and was unsure about dining at mirage, but he had the chicken kabobs and loooved them! His wife is a vegetarian and there was plenty for her too. All of the food is fresh, unlike many of the chain restaurants we visit. Definitely give this place a try!

Noo. they no longer serve cornish hen! I’ve been on the hunt for a Persian or Mediterranean place that serves cornish hen. They did say that customers can order it in advance so they can prepare it ahead of time, since it takes a lil’ while to cook. The venue is nice and big. I went on a Friday night and surprisingly there weren’t too many customers. Ordered the next best thing on their menu, the kabobs. Got the chicken lula and lamb lula kabob. Both were very well made, flavorful and tender. The entrée comes with a lentil soup or salad(both were pretty good), and rice pilaf or Russian potatoes. Definitely opt for the Russian potatoes, the rice pilaf was quite salty, and with the kabob, the whole pairing was definitely way too salty. The price was pretty good, the kabob entrée was a little over 10 dollars, and they give you 2 kabobs and generous sides. If you live nearby, this is a good Mediterranean place to hit up, their lunch special is half of the entrée at half of the price. But without the cornish hen on their menu anymore, I will not be making the trek all the way here for Mediterranean food. My search for cornish hen/jujeh kabob continues…

First timer at this place and unfortunately disappointed. Six of us for dinner. We sampled an array of appetizers and entrees. I’ll limit my comments to items I sampled. The garlic mushrooms were good — 3 stars. Baba ganoush was good, but not great — a solid 3 stars. Nutty mushroom was very nice — a solid 4 stars. Marinated vegetables were good — 3 stars. Chicken kiev was dry — 2 stars. Lamb shank — poorly presented, lukewarm, under seasoned. 1.5 to 2 stars. I’ve purchased better tasting, pre-packaged-heat-it-up-in-the-oven from Costco. So on balance, the veggie dishes were okay and the protein dishes were subpar. I wish this were not the case, as I liked the overall ambience of the place. But very doubtful I will return.

I ate here for lunch or the first time with a friend who said they had a good falafel wrap, which is what I ended up ordering. The prices seemed to be reasonable and the food was okay. I can’t say the falafel or pita tasted super fresh or different, but it was something I would eat again. The pita wasn’t as soft as I was expecting and the falafel has a little crispier than expected. The fries were decent. The other options for the sandwich combo were a choice of rice or salad. The interior is spacious, but dark. It was not at all what I was expecting. The furniture is dark and there are dark burgundy curtains making the interior darker. It always makes you wonder what they are trying to hide when a place is made to be so dark. However, I like Mediterranean food and would definitely try this place again.

Absolutely delightful lunch. I dined with friends on a Friday afternoon and enjoyed every minute of my meal. I recommend the lamb lulu kabob and the excellent sauce. A new lunch spot I cannot wait to return to and bring my co-workers. Only 4 starts because I paid 1 – 2 dollars more than I would have liked.

This was my second visit. I was unimpressed on the first one and disappointed with my second try. I had the gyro plate with Russian potatoes and salad mixture. The salad is just diced tomatoes, onions, and cucumbers. Interesting flavors, but nothing to write home about. The potatoes were pretty good although a little too greasy for my taste. The gyro was subpar. There are a lot of good choices for gyros in the area, but this isn’t one of them. I *might* come back for a third time and try the kebab… but it won’t be any time soon.

I’ve been wanting to try this restaurant for quite some time now, so I was pretty excited to go here for dinner last night with some friends. Upon walking in, I was surprised how big the restaurant had gotten. I think they recently expanded and redecorated; the ambiance was very nice, the walls decorated with artwork, colorful silk tablecloths to adorn each table… and Kenny G playing in the background. Upon perusing the menu, half of it consumed by appetizers, we agreed to start with the Mediterranean Sampler, consisting of hummus, baba ganoush, labni, and tabouli with stuffed grape leaves. It was plenty for 8 of us to share while we waited at least 45 minutes for our meals to arrive(much longer than the 25 minutes we were told). Nothing from the sampler really knocked my socks off, but it was decent. Next was our adventure of ordering our meals; there may have been a few miscommunication issues and menu misprints which contributed to the frustration of this. Most of us decided on ordering the combination entrees, which seemed like a good deal since the menu states«add two shish or lula kabobs and your choice of side and soup and salad for just $ 13.95.» However, after ordering, we were asked if we wanted soup or salad– not both, as stated on the menu. The salad is a little side salad of marinated cucumber, tomatoes, and onions which comes with your meal and don’t try to order any soup you want– you are only allowed to get the lentil soup, unless you want to shell out another $ 6 for a different soup. Fine. I was disappointed that I couldn’t try the borscht or chicken soup, but I got over it. The food finally came almost an hour and a half after arriving at the restaurant. I had the pork and chicken kabobs(combination entrée). The pork was a little dry but had better flavor than the chicken, which was very juicy. The bite of the lamb kabob I tried was tender and tasty and the chicken kiev, which somebody else had looked and tasted like a big chicken nugget. She enjoyed it though, so I guess that’s all that mattered. I chose the Russian potatoes for my side, which I thought were quite good. The rice«pilaf» I tasted was okay(unless pilaf is plain basmati rice, this was a misprint as well), and the«salad» was really good. I’ll enjoy my leftovers, but I’m not sure I’ll rush back anytime soon.
