New England Grinders

Popular lunch spot and appears the do a lot of to-​go orders as well. Tried the Gyro grinder and it was pretty good. Also got the potato salad, which they advertise as loaded potato, and it was less than satisfying. Potatoes weren’t cooked long enough and therefore were hard. Would hit up again and try one of their good looking soups.

I live right down the street from here and never been before. I have always heard great things. So today I figured why not I’ll give it a try. Walked in staff was so friendly and helpful. Took my food home and OMG it was AMAZING! One of the BEST sandwiches I have ever had. Definitely will give it 10 stars. If you have never been you must go for lunch you won’t regret it. Keep up the great job Grinders!

Long hair in my tuna grinder… that’s hard to recover from.
Food is typically good. I’ve been going there for about fifteen years. I’ve never found the employees to come across like they’re happy I’m there. I feel more like an inconvenience.

Club sandwich with bowl of chowder. Both were hot and delicious ad service was great too. Took just 2 – 3 minute wait during lunch hour and well worth it.

Pretty solid Philly cheesesteak. Good flavor and less grease than penn station.
The prices here are excellent and the grinders are made to order so they’re hot if you’re dining in. Just good food and the atmosphere is laid back.
Great for a quick lunch break or catching up with friends.

These guys are great.
I go here at least once a week and they always have my sandwich ready.
Staff is super friendly and calls there normal customers by name.
Brownies and cookies can not be beat. Brownies haven’t been in in a while which is disappointing but food is delicious

Weird location, near industrial businesses, but wow, great sandwiches! Grab one of those cookies, I think they put a stick of butter in each one!

After looking at the reviews, I was really excited to try this place. I called and placed my order and the girl told me that there were just two of them there so it would take extra time plus we were out of their normal delivery area, but they didn’t mind doing it bc they were dead. I was excited to try a place with such good reviews and I was going to tip well bc they were going out of the way. A half hour later I received a call from a guy stating he had just looked at directions and didn’t «realize how far it was» and they all of a sudden got busy. It’s completely uncalled for and SO unprofessional. Horrible customer service.

Great subs, good service, comparable pricing. Try the Reuben, delicious!

Came here on Friday for lunch, I have driven past this restaurant a few dozen times and have never stopped in. I was pleasantly surprised with the food.
As soon as you walk in the counter is to the right and the menu is above that, the order is placed at the counter and then if eating in sit at the table with your number and when the food is ready it will be brought out to you.
I ordered the New England clam chowder and it was pretty good with little pieces of clam and potatoes and wasn’t to rich. It was also piping hot.
I also ordered on the suggestion of the worker behind the counter the Italian Grinder with banana peppers, mayo, lettuce and tomato added. This sandwich was brought out hot out of the oven. It was really good and probably one of the best grinders I have had in Cincinnati and much better than Penn Station or any other Sub chains.
The price for a bowl of chowder is 2.78 and for a six inch Italian grinder $ 4.74.
A note about getting in the lot, can’t take a left on 747 to get in, have to pull down to the next driveway and drive around the back.
The décor and ambiance seems to be lacking, but a sign on a few doors said they are remodeling soon.
After talking with the owner he said they just started serving breakfast grinders as well.

This is the BEST place for Grinders! Made fast, hot and fresh– you will not find a better sandwich in this country! This place is hoppin at lunch– but you will find your wait to be quick. Well run, great quality bread and sandwiches. Ask about desserts!
