Oasis of green and quiet in OTR. Great for dogs like mine who will not walk on the busy streets around main and vine. Perfect place to bring your dog, have a conversation with a neighbor, or catch up on emails while enjoying the weather.

Absolutely appalling that I haven’t reviewed this place yet(in my mind, I did). I patronize this local«establishment» more often than probably any place in town. It’s a block from where I live, and I probably go there 5 times a week, maybe more. This is a little pocket park that is fenced all around. There isn’t a ton of seating, so I wouldn’t especially recommend going there to just sit and hang out. What I WOULD recommend it for, is to take your dogs there. Which I do, all the time(when you go, tell ‘em Grace and Maddie sent you :)). If no one else is around you can take your dogs off leash, which everyone does, and it’s a great way to socialize your dog. We usually go, sniff around(well, they sniff, I just stand there), then play a few rounds of «Fetch» and«Kill the Dog with the Ball». Then I let them do their business, and we take off. It’s especially enjoyable when other dogs and owners are there. Before my time, this park used to be a crack corner. Neighborhood residents gathered together to completely renovate it, for which I’ll be forever thankful. Now we all pitch in to help to keep the place groomed and watered and mowed, and we try to keep a community tennis ball in the tree(nice little hiding place) to play with while you are there. As a dog owner in the city, I could not be more thrilled about this park – unless somehow magically we could get everyone to understand that you MUST pick up after your own dog. There are bags and a trash can right next to the park – it can’t get any easier, folks!

This park is small and quant, and isn’t really anything fantastic. That is, unless you have dogs. This well maintained Dog Mecca in the middle of OTR is heaven for the four legged friends who come to visit. My dogs are always excited to meet others in the neighborhood. Visitors could do a much better job looking after the area. Clean up after your dog!

Wonderful neighborhood park filled with charm. Small, but cozy, well maintained green space in the North Main area of OTR.
