Simply put: the best Mediterranean food I’ve had since I lost my spot in Ludlow. The dinner platters are absolutely to die for– very fresh vegetables, meat and falafel cooked on the grill right in front of you, and hummus that is expertly mixed. Not to mention the guy always working there is one of the nicest people ever and is always eager to recommend different toppings and such with your platter. It’s also cheap– a giant, filling platter is less than $ 10. NY Pita Palace definitely a hidden gem, located in the under-utilized Mount Auburn, attached to a gas station, with bars over the windows, so if you find it, consider yourself lucky. They deliver through Zooted too, so if you’re willing to pay a bit extra for the delivery costs, that is always a nice plus. I like it because it’s much healthier«drunk food» than most of the other options in the Clifton/Mount Auburn/Walnut Hills area.

This is some of the best mediterranean cuisine in Cincinnati, OH. The food is extremely fresh and well prepared; my favorite dishes include the falafel platter, chicken shawarma sandwich, philly cheese steak platter, and the gyro. Everything is cooked to order, so make sure you call ahead or allow extra time for your food to be prepared. They also deliver through Zooted and will even do catering orders! I have been a regular customer for about 2 years now and will continue to support this amazing business – one of Cincinnati’s best kept secret restaurants just minutes from down town and centrally located within between UC and NKU.

Surprisingly great! I’ve eaten the falafel sandwich on a pita — it was really good(just a little bit on the salty side). They have an amazing selection of fresh toppings you can add to your order, too. They even let me sample some falafel while I was waiting for my sandwich. I’ve also ordered the Chicken Shawarma sandwich on a pita, and it was freakin’ awesome! I highly recommend this place: it’s cheap and the food is great(be forewarned about the not-so-nice neighborhood, however). I also recommend taking the order to go, although they do have a few tables and chairs inside).

This is the most authentic Middle-Eastern food I’ve found — just like in Jerusalem. Falafel cooked fresh when you order, good shwarma, great eggplant and other salads to put on the sandwich.

I can’t believe this place has no reviews, I think it’s great! It’s definitely a little bit divey in atmosphere, but it’s clean and the food is excellent! I usually get the falafel and then you get your choice of all kinds of little sides that they throw in the box with your entrée, kind of Chipotle style. It’s a delicious, quick, take out with friendly staff.
