This place is solid. The Northside location is carry out only. They always have good deals and you can order in person, by phone, or online. Everyone is very friendly when picking up your order, and I’ve never had to wait longer than the 20 minutes asked for. I’ve also never been told my order will take longer than 20 minutes. I can’t comment on the delivery service as we always do carry out since it’s just a few blocks away. This pizza also reheats really well. I hate when crust turns into concrete or rubber the next day, and this crust does not do that. Props to that!

NYPD Pizza is the best«Cheap» pizza in Cincy. It’s located in Northside and doesn’t have a dine in area, so I don’t get it as much as I use too. But sometimes Dan & I just crave it and drive over to Northside to pick it up. They are really affordable and have great coupons on their website. We always get the deal where you get a large one topping pizza, cheese bread sticks and a 2-Liter for $ 15.99. You get SO much food for what you pay for. If you’re in Northside and craving Pizza I would stop and pick one up from here. You could take it to a park and eat it if you don’t want to drive home. OR you could take it over to Urban Artifact Brewery around the corner to enjoy with some beer.

Ordered delivery during a stormy night in Northside. I attempted to order online but unless you download their app it is almost impossible. That being said, calling in wasn’t too painful. Despite the crazy weather(thunderstorms and torrential rain in December?) it didn’t take long for them to arrive. I ordered a calzone and my friend ordered wings and a house salad. My calzone was big especially compared to what you get from Larosa’s. It was loaded with pepperoni, bacon and extra cheese and came with pizza sauce AND garlic butter sauce. It was super tasty but the bacon wasn’t my favorite. My friend didn’t really enjoy her wings and kept mentioning they didn’t seem like they were fully cooked. I was too scared to taste but she didn’t finish them which says a lot. I wish this place was closer to where I lived because I would definitely order again!

Small, traditional, pizza shop. If you’re looking for a quick basic pizza fix without any super fancy bells and whistles that you’d find in most Northside eateries, go here. Sometimes you just gotta have that pepperoni and garlic.

Can I just… ugh…meh. Nope. That’s pretty much NYPD. Their service is prompt and delivery is reliable, but this is the pizza I get when I feel like shit and don’t have the energy to wait for a better one, like Adriatico’s. NYPD will always be in business because it’s local and cheaper than others, and people need that convenience. But it just isn’t my favorite. It isn’t bad. But it isn’t good. It’s generic.

I always get the fried pickles and they just brought back fried mushrooms. They’ve also switched to Pepsi recently. I really like a well done pizza and they make it great every time. Carry out hoagie deal is great when you’re low on cash. The wings are apart of any order I get — and there’s a great internet deal on them!

Bland, boring, uninspired pizza. The wings are far better.

This was our second try. The pizza was pretty good — we only had one piece left out of two pies, a rarity. They delivered really fast. My only complaint was that I tried to order on line. out of 8 coupons, only one had a web code, so I had to call the order in. I’m not sure they’re ready for that yet.

Decent pizza at decent price. It’s great for that rainy Monday night when all you want to do is sit in your jams, watch a movie, and not cook. Nothing exciting or special; just… good ol’ fashioned pizza!

NYPD excels at everything a cheap hole in the wall pizza place should. First, it’s cheap. Second, they deliver FAST. Ridiculously so sometimes. I ordered once at an off-peak time and delivery came in under 30 minutes from placing an online order. Third, it’s run by friendly people. They didn’t receive our online order once. They gave my husband a free drink even though they made his order so fast he never would have realized they actually missed his order. Oops, but I haven’t mentioned the food. It’s nothing special really. But it’s not bad either. It will solve any pizza craving and the BBQ pizza is solid. It’s cheap unhealthy greasy pizza… and it’s perfect for what it is. But what raises it to four stars? THEFRIEDPICKLES. I love pickles. I love fried food. And I have found fried pickles to be underwhelming. They always suffer from some problem. Namely, the batter overwhelms the pickle. So you taste batter, but no pickle. Whats the point? Or they use bigger pickles and the pickle gets warm and mushy on the inside. NYPD has found fried pickle perfection. They are one of the less greasy things on the menu and lightly breaded. They use whole pickle spears, so it’s very pickley. Somehow, the batter is light and crispy. The pickle is not mushy and oh… it’s just beautiful. And cheap. So that’s the last time I spend money in a semi-fancy restaurant for their crappy fried pickles.

Omg… FRIEDPICKLESDELIVERED!!! Soooo yummy. The calzones are great, the spaghetti is ok, I haven’t tried the pizza but will be soon. My favorite thing is the fried pickles, they are so crisp & yummy, even after being delivered.

One of THEEBEST Pizza places in town. Second only to Cincy By The Slice in Elmwood. The Pizzas are always fresh and hot with great toppings. Prices are unbelievably cheap for as much food as you get. The Hoageys are Awsome and the Crust and sauce is deffinatley unique and Great. They Deliver FAST. My family orders NYPD a few times a month and we’ve NEVER been dissapointed. Ditch the Super Chains and give them a try!

NYPD is a Northside staple — if you’re primo concern is quality, then head to Dewy’s in Clifton… but if you’re looking for decent, cost effective pizza — NYPD is your place! The Pizza is pretty good for the cost!

Long Time Northside dependable. Our favorite Nside P for about 5 yrs. Call and pickup or they deliver. No inside table service. You wanted Pomodori?

My favorite neighborhood pizza joint. Yes, it’s cheap, even when you double up on the pepperoni and cheese – which I recommend. They use decent quality ingredients and get the pies done right and on time. In the same league with Domino’s and Papa Johns, but way better. No eat-in, carryout and delivery only.
