Red Roof Inn

This is a Excellent hotel and I highly recommend it to any traveler. Our room was super clean and smelled as fresh as a spring breeze. The room was large and had two queen size beds a fridge a microwave free WiFi free long distance calling a large bathroom and came with a free breakfast. The front desk man was very friendly and accommodating to our needs. We usually stay at a Best Western but lately I’m finding out that a Red Roof Inn far exceeds a Best Western and Red Roof has now become our hotel of first choice.

Very nice and very clean. There is plenty of parking and the building itself is very clean and seems new. I love that you can bring pets here for free! My room was large and very nice for the price I paid around 60 $ for a king room on a week day. My room was very clean and neat. I would have rated this place 5 stars but the woman at the front desk is not friendly at all and her demeanor is very rude. When I first came here and I indicated to her I have a reservation she said No you don’t! I know all of the reservations and you’re not staying here! I told her I used price line to reserve a room about an hr ago and told me the reservation wasn’t faxed to her. So she just stared at me blankly. So I asked her if I could wait in the lobby til it was faxed in and she looked at me like I had 3 heads. But luckily it came in 15 minutes later. Because I had a dog I was near the door which I appreciate on the first floor. But it seemed like everyone throughout the night was going in and out of that door to smoke cigarettes so I was up a lot at night. Definitely worth it if you are in the area and you have a pet. They have a waffle maker and cold breakfast set up (bagels muffins cereal coffee juice etc. If attendant was friendlier and my room wasn’t right next to the door I would have rated 5 stars.

I believe that this is a family run hotel. It is a good place to stay if you are going to King’s Island and need someplace close by to spend the night. My friend and I had a strange experience here. We pulled into a parking spot on the side of the building near our room. We parked on the end spot and a man came running up to our car. He asked us if we would switch him spots because he would be working on the flower bed soon (this was almost 10 pm). The «flower bed» was mulch and a few bushes. We found this suspicious so we parked at the front of the hotel where our car could be seen from the lobby.

My second year in a row staying here (I stay here for the tennis tournament), and it is VERY conveniently located just off 71) and I’m just fine with everything. Mike the owner runs a tight ship, and the rest of the staff is helpful and friendly. As far as the amenities, my room was clean, the bed was comfy, and the upkeep that I have seen in general is very good. There is a previous negative review about the breakfast… but at a budget priced hotel. are you kidding me ??! They had coffee, juices, fresh waffles (the kids in the hotel loved that) as well as toast, bagels, cereals, etc… I’m more than ok with everything, and i plan on a repeat stay next year.

The owners are very nice. Only carbs at breakfast: cereal, waffles, donuts. No eggs of any kind, not even boiled although there were salt and pepper shakers on the counter. The room was terribly musty. We sprayed Lysol and bought a car freshener to help the smell-​have no idea when they cleaned the carpet. Pool is in the front of the building by the parking lot. Plenty of nearby restaurants but no sidewalks. I doubt I would chose to stay here again.

My room is clean and pretty nice. The staff is really friendly and helpful. All kinds of restaurants and shopping nearby. The beds in my room seem fairly new and are quite comfortable. The refrigerator and microwave in the room is clean and work well. I’m here on a Monday & Tuesday so it’s pretty quiet. It’s affordable. I really can’t think of anything I’m not satisfied with. For a budget hotel it’s pretty nice.

NO NO Never again! The toilet was not bolted to the floor,., the place is so noisy I woke many times during the night. When I suggested to the front desk they might want to fix the toilet, the ding bat just looked at me like I was in Mars… and then she said, oh, I’ll tell the man. How can you have a hotel that one rocks when sitting on the toilet and not be concerned? Happened, and the breakfast left tons to be desired!
I travel twice a year to and from New York and Texas. This hotel was in a great location but I will not stay here again!
