The Italian sandwich was one of the best I’ve had. The online ordering is very convenient as well. Very cool place with some outdoor seating.

This place is the best! If you want breakfast like your momma made it, this is the place! And their coffee is the best I’ve had in Cincinnati(and that’s including Starbucks and Dunkin coffee)! Should definitely stop by and give it a try!

I adore this place! It’s small and sweet. The food is great and the coffee is even better.

We have been here many times since moving to the area. Have never been disappointed. It seems to be a family operation and the owner is always there. You’re always greeted with a smile and the food is made to order with fresh ingredients. The dining room isn’t huge, but if you offer to share your table you get a treat on the house! My favorite is the breakfast sandwich with bacon. The croissant French toast is melt in your mouth yummy.

This is a delicious breakfast or lunch spot in Colerain! It is a family owned and operated restaurant and you definitely get that feel. They have really good coffee, fresh baked goods, great homemade soups of the day, and a nice menu with variety but not too many options. I certainly wouldn’t call their options basic, there are interesting combinations on different types of breads, warm and cold, I really like the variety and creativity here. They have goetta! There is some nice outdoor seating. This is my go-to lunch spot in Colerain. Tip: Open for dinner only on Wednesdays; also, you pay at the register when you are finished, they do not give you a bill, just tell them what you got.

Had dinner with my mother and sister, a great food and very friendly service. The bread for the turkey club was so good and the mashed potatoes were very tasty. Will definitely be returning and I can’t wait to try the breakfast.

One of my favorite places for breakfast or brunch. They also have great bakery items and iced coffees. The café itself is a little small but share a table and you get a free dessert. It’s also great for carry out to take home the egg salad sandwich on a croissant is the best

Saturday was the first time my husband and I had been to Tag’s. This place is a true hidden gem. The inside is small, but very warm and welcoming. The latte dah was awesome(two of my favorites for a hot latte w/mocha and caramel). My omelette was delicious and loaded with all my favorite veggies and breakfast meats. My husband got the concrete cowboy(breakfast burrito) and it was very large and loaded as well. Would definitely recommend this place. We will be back!

Arrived here around 8:30 for some breakfast, I was meeting my party there that had already been served their beverages, finally had to wave down a server to order my drink. We had to wait quite some time for her to return to take our order, food took a little longer than it should’ve to be delivered, but it was all correct when it finally came. Upon trying to leave, finally had to go to register and recite our order for the person running the register. Food was typical Cincinnatian breakfast, nothing special, prices were decent, service was horrible! The getter was having to walk to register, remember what we ordered, and then pay for it, as it didn’t seem this was the type of flow this café was going for?

Muffaletta, coffee, cookies, service, atmosphere-very good. Italian pasta salad, my wife’s chicken salad, size of seating area– just ok. Still will probably be a regular place to stop for breakfast and lunch if I am in the area because it’s not the same old thing and it is obvious that they make everything fresh.

Our favorite breakfast place! Menu items for small or large appetites, all fresh ingredients, friendly staff. Very good prices and great coffee from Deeper Roots. Plenty of parking and just a great place to hang out.

— Busy! We waited a couple minutes for a table, which we offered to share with another party of 2.(Unbeknownst to us, you get a free brownie if you share!) — Friendly service, down-to-earth atmosphere, clean and bright. — Menu has good options and good variety. — We got a yogurt parfait with fruit and granola(yum), breakfast burrito with ham(yum, and larger than I expected given the price), and a Good Morning combo(yum, especially the potatoes). — The other party we shared a table with both got the chicken salad sandwich(obvs I didn’t eat theirs) with asiago mac and cheese(looked delish). Note: Pay upfront when you’re done. Tip: There’s a driveway on the left of the building that takes you to additional parking in back. Verdict: We enjoyed it quite a bit and would definitely come back.

This is definitely a hidden gem on the west side of Cincinnati. It’s not in a good location at all but it’s usually packed because both the food and service are always great. My only complaint is that the place is too small for them. There are only a small handful of tables and thus your wait time can be fairly long, which makes dining there during your lunch hour a pretty dicey proposition. It would also be nice if they stayed open later but I can understand their decision not to.

I absolutely love it here! Great atmosphere, food, and service. I eat here often because it’s convenient and I can always count on it for unique, fresh, diverse food and desserts. I often place carry out orders and my food is ready on time every time I’ve been, it’s family owned and has all the charm and quality you’d expect from a place like that. Their café salads are all very good– I recommend the red skin potato salad, yum! If you’re unsure what to get try the rueben, it’s award winning and phenomenal. Also– don’t leave without trying one of their brownies, lime soda cake, or caramel cake. Whatever you get– you can’t go wrong at Tag’s.

This was my first time at Tag’s and I loved it. It’s a small and quaint family owned restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch only, with exception to Wednesday dinner. They were pretty busy while we there, but handled it nicely. As I noted it is family owned. The owner stopped by our table to make sure things were good — which they were. The entrees were made with quality fresh ingredients. As I noted, it is small — seating only 30 or so patrons.

From the yummy sandwich rolls to the cupcakes and coffee… this has to be one of the best tasting cafes in Cincinnati. GO for the CUPCAKES(mm coconut) I’ve been from NY to LA and experienced all sorts of yummy cupcakes and this place has been the closest I’ve come to tasting the likes of Sprinkles in the midwest. Not only do their desserts satisfy(at a fabulously low price), the lunch I had was incredibly tasty, fresh, and just downright delicious. Needless to say, I will be going back!

Tag’s Café is the kind of place you’d expect find in old town Milford or Montgomery, not a tiny suburban strip mall. However, it’s a perfect addition to the otherwise bleak food scene in Colerain Township(think chain restaurants, bar food, and pizza). Tag’s serves up typical café fare and coffee drinks, and they do a solid job of it. No matter what I order, I always get a cup of tomato dill soup to go with it. It’s a hug in a bowl! The women that work there are the real gem of the place. They do the cooking, the serving, and the chatting with the many regulars. You can tell they care about each customer and the food they make.
