Target

Really love this Target! Great staff, super friendly. It’s got a Pharmacy, Starbucks, food bar and everything. I have no complaints.

This is a beautiful store but I don’t like how I was treated recently. Tylersville store gave me a 30% cartwheel discount even though I didn’t have my phone on me. This Blue Ash was the closes location for a color I wanted. I drove straight there, when I mentioned the Cartwheel discount to the head cashier she looked at me as if I had 2 heads and stated she couldn’t look up anything on her phone. I purchased full price, went home to get my phone and drive to the Tri-​county store. They quickly calculated the discount and gave the difference to me in cash.

Since I last reviewed it here, this Target store got a total remodel inside, most notably the addition of fresh groceries and an expansion of the food selection! This makes trips to the competition now less necessary (though again, Target is not a complete replacement for every special food item, but it’s notably better!) It’s still the same friendly store I’ve come to love. Another change is the relocation of the Guest Service desk, which was on the right when you walk in. It’s been replaced with a Starbucks, and the Guest Service is now next to the registers, where you can also check out from if you need just a few items to purchase/​and or return stuff.

Having worked at a very busy Target for five years, I was pretty surprised to find out how empty this store usually is. Generally speaking, whenever I stop in here to pick something up, there is hardly anyone shopping, or working for that matter. It is almost like a ghost town, unless you visit during the busier times of the day (i.e. when everyone is getting off of work, etc.).
The store is clean and stocks the same products that most other Targets do. The employees can be hit or miss however. It seems to be very rare that one of them on the sales floor will even acknowledge your presence, and the cashiers are either super friendly or look like they would rather jump off a building than be where they are. This usually isn’t a big deal to me though, as I almost always am just picking up one or two things between grocery trips to Kroger and want to be in and out as quickly as possible.

Pretty standard Target, like most, clean and well laid out, spacious aisles.

Target is so good. The company has a handle on what people want and they generally deliver at great, slightly upscale prices.
I like their Up & Up, Market Pantry, and Archer Farms brands, each of which is available at this location.
They have a grocery section near the electronics section at the end opposite the entrance. While it’s not as feature-​full as a Super Target, they have good products available and you can save money shopping there for groceries. I was surprised years ago to find that the canned vegetables are quite good and taste better than those from Del Monte, Green Giant, etc.
They’ve gone all out on their Up & Up health and beauty products and I find myself buying those instead of the name brands.
Generally, the stores are uncomplicated and of a single, but mirrored design in Ohio – some stores have the same layout in the exact opposite direction. After living in Florida where they revamped their stores in the late 1990s, I’m surprised that Ohio hasn’t gotten updates, but the grocery items are there and that’s helpful. Update: fresh grocery added, so that should bring more business and brings this store into line with other Target stores in the area. Still wishing for Super Target.
The cashier seemed to be waiting to ring up the customers but she wasn’t enthusiastic in the least, though she was pleasant at the end.

As other Unilocal reviews have stated this target is an older one, but is large. The aisles are clean and wide and when encountering an employee always greeted by a smile and ask how they can help out.
Target usually has great deals on socks, and sweats and shorts for men and there store brand is a quality product.

Who doesn’t love Target? I went in for socks and left with socks, gloves and a pair of long gym pants. I could have shopped more, but I was on a timeline.
This one is clean and friendly. I don’t shop at Target often, but when I do I know I’ll find what I need quickly and most likely end up with a few extras.
I don’t know… what else can I say about Target. Nothin’.

It’s a nice, well laid out friendly Target.
The afternoons are a bit hectic, but you can get in and out at lunchtime pretty quickly. Later in the evenings during the week the place is almost deserted! And it’s a great time to get some shopping done.
The employees are normally around, but every now and then you really have to track one down. But when you do, they’ll gladly help you with a smile.
