It’s hard to find a barber that takes the time to cut your hair to perfection. This barbershop will do that. Nothing rushed but they take their time to give you the perfect haircut. The atmosphere is like no other barber I have ever visited. You feel like your not out of place. They remember your name. I travel 15 minutes just to get a haircut here. I never go home not satisfied with my haircut. I would recommend to anyone of my friends. Hands down best barbershop in town.

These guys are pretty awesome! I’ve been to a couple barber shops in Cincinnati and being a woman with a short cut, never quite felt comfortable. These guys were very welcoming! And I was very impressed with the cut. When I got home my partner told me that this was by far the best cut I’ve gotten so far. I will 110% be back!

This barber shop has an old time feel. Rock and roll music and albums on the walls. After you get your haircut you’ll understand why they have been open since 1966. The cuts are crisp, clean and tight. My haircut is exactly the way I asked for it. Ron The Barber listened to me and tappered the sides just like I wanted it. He even gave me some good advice on how to keep my cow lick from sticking up. He finished off with a straight razor and hot lather. It doesn’t get any better than that!

When I was young, I went to great clips but if you ask how long since they have seen me they couldn’t say within past 5 – 10 years. These group of barbers are the only ones I have cut my hair and I haven’t even had one time where I’ve left disappointed or anything and yes they are that good. Great socialists who constantly like to connect with you, televisions and music constantly on, and the waiting time isn’t bad at all either. I’d recommend these guys over many others in the state of Ohio easily.

I took my 15 year old son for a very overdue haircut this afternoon. Great atmosphere, music, décor, humor and above all a very good haircut! We’ve been trying to locate a real barbershop for a few months now and were glad to find them open and not to busy. I suggested to my husband that he go and take our other two boys with him for haircuts sooner than later.

Came in to get a #2 buzz all the way around and left content for a 17 dollar haircut. For my first time I was happy with the service and actual shop. Wasn’t till the next day though I started to notice how uneven my hair was plus random 3 inch long hairs. Took my own buzzer to my hair at a number 4 not even a week later and was surprised by the amount that came off in random spots. Not the worst haircut but $ 17 for an uneven buzz is not worth it.

I like The Barbers in Montgomery. The barber shop goes back to the days of Norman Rockwell. Nothing fancy. Just friendly barbers giving great hair cuts.

I had tried the Supercut, Great Clip, Sportsclip route. Enjoy a good haircut here. Been here for more than 5 years and they do a great job in getting my hair dialed in

Walking into a shop that calls themselves THE Barbers, I was expecting a quality haircut. However what I got was the worst haircut I’ve had in years. I was very specific with how I wanted my hair. Tapered, 1 on the sides and faded. Instead of listening to me he did whatever he wanted and didn’t ask me if I liked it or it looked good, he finished and said there you go. I think he was more concerned about the time instead of the haircut. My «fade» looks like two different lengths of hair with an obvious line where they change. I thank god that I asked him to leave the top alone. He also cut really high above my and around my ears. Why? I have no clue at all. And after further review the fades are different heights and lengths on either side of my head. In short if you want to throw money away go get your haircut there. If I were you I would stay home, save your hair and just save your money. The Barbers ruined my hair and my day and now I’m going to have to pay someone else to clean up there mess.

The absolute worst haircut I have ever had in my life. There isn’t much more I can say to articulate the world of hurt this cut is worth, but I will try. I will definitely have to get it fixed elsewhere. I couldn’t ever step foot in this establishment for anything ever again even if I tried. If I forgot my wallet, I’d cancel my credit cards and take the cash value loss. If I forgot my phone I’d buy a replacement and I’m not due for an upgrade anytime soon. If I forgot my car keys I’d walk for the rest of my life. These barbers do not deserve to hold clippers or shears. Entirely delusional as to what straight lines, proportions, and decency is. Obviously never have done a decent fade in their career as we watched client after client have their dreams of owning a cut they could be proud of be woefully demolished. They made a kid cry. All three barbers were horrendous at their craft. This is not a attack on their character, no one was mean by their use of words or composure but anyone that would willfully give you a cut so bad is out to sabotage your life. «The Barbers», they are keeping the Midwest looking dumb as fuck. Stay far away. I looked amazing going in. I left completely emasculated and looking like I lost a bet to a blind man that really wanted to try cutting hair just once in his life. Spread the word. Help out. Do your part. I want to put up caution tape over this establishment. The worst case scenario for style. Zero stars. Negative infinity stars. The end.

A piece of receding good old Americana! Barber shops have a charm! This place has it all, that smell of cologne, talcum powder, retro music and décor and the good old boy barbers who always find something to chat about, even to an odd transplant like me…

Old school in a convenient place next to the Montgomery Kroger. Quality cuts in a clean environment. These are the guys you seek for an old time barbershop and continue to return for a clean simple cut.

Moved to Cincinnati recently and was looking for a replacement for my barber of 30 years. After a difficult search to find a traditional barbershop with traditional barbers, I found The Barbers. Great shop with great atmosphere. Herb is a master at his craft, and I can’t reccomend him enough. If you’re looking for a traditional barbershop, this is it.

I take my sons here on a regular basis. Herb The Barber cuts their hair & always does a great job! He has been cutting hair about 40 years which is a rare find for a Barber these days. I recommend this place & Herb The Barber for a great haircut!

A regular haircut here is $ 15 and while that is higher than I’m used to paying, you get more than just a haircut here. The two men cutting hair during my visit provided a salty comedy routine. They would pause to admire pretty ladies walking outside the window. I heard plenty of politically incorrect jokes and lots of 4-letter words while my golden locks were chopped off. If you’re offended easily, maybe go to Supercuts instead. I had to focus on keeping my head still through my laughter at the two men. This was a fun experience and I got a good-looking haircut. I’ll come back next time my hair is too long.

I’m a long-time customer of The Barbers. They provide professional service at great prices. They have a very convenient location and know how to cut Men’s/Boy’s hair.
