Not sure why this place is highly rated. Went on a Monday at 7:30 and the doors were locked lights out… Said they opened at 7am? We went back to give it another shot a week later big mistake… No decaf because there is not enough demand? They were out of almond milk they were out of sweet and low. Left without a drink. The entire place was cluttered. Not a fan.

I’m a bit of a coffee junkie and I visit this place quite often since it is in walking distance. Every time I go in I feel welcomed. The lady who owns the shop is super friendly! She makes homemade vanilla syrup which is SO delicious. I always order an iced coffee with vanilla and milk. I love how she mixed it in a shaker like cup before serving it. It makes the drink taste so much better! If you are ever in the area this is a great place to stop by for a drink or snack!

I was looking to kill some time before a meeting so I Unilocaled local coffee shops and found this little gem. A lady was waiting at the counter for her drink and just raved about how good it was. The owner let me try it and holy iced chai tea batman, it was amazing. I also got a homemade strawberry banana muffin, yum. The atmosphere is quaint. Looks like it was decorated directly from my grandma’s living room. Nick Nacks and doilies everywhere. Definitely will come back next time I’m in town!

Just moved to the area and decided to try this place. The macchiato I ordered was very good, and the bagel with homemade cream cheese was delicious! I will definitely come back.

Not a fan. Went based on reviews but clearly not knowledgable in true coffee making. Barista pulled shots for both lattes together and used leftover milk from the previous customer. My latte had a bitter after taste and not enjoyable at all. Disappointed.

I am sick and tired of going to Starbucks, so I Unilocaled Local Coffee shops and found this hidden gem. The barista is super funny and the coffee is absolutely incredible! I had an americano, which is my go-to and loved every sip. Thanks so much Cream of Caffeine!

I visited here once with my mother, and the coffee was excellent! I also like the atmosphere, as it’s very chill. I may consider coming back here.

The barista made a WONDERFUL latté for me. It was well worth the afternoon adventure looking for this place. The décor was totally yuk. If they were going for the mismatched, yard sale reject linens, and dusty plastic centerpieces, they got it. For me, it seemed unkept, and dreary. I still gave 5 stars because the espresso was fresh and delicious!

I’ve been to many cafes in the tri-state area and this is by far the best. Not only is the coffee delicious, the food is hand made and great. The owners are some of the best people you will meet and will go out of their way to make sure your visit is perfect, also the atmosphere is as good as it gets. I recommend this café to anyone who wants great coffee and food.

If you want to go to a coffee shop and be left alone and have no one to talk to, then don’t visit The Cream of Caffeine. My husband and I have been visiting Mark and Alex’s place for a couple of years now and we keep coming back. Mark is the culinary mastermind behind all the creative and flavorful food that they offer. We look forward the Second Sunday Brunch because that’s when Chef Mark shines with his unctuous food pairings, like summer squash quiche, bacon, cream cheese & carmelized onion french toast, sweet bread pudding… Not to mention regular menu items like the C.O.C.B.A.C.(Cream of Caffeine, Bacon Apple butter Croissant) and the Caprese Melt. Everything that we’ve had here has been spectacular. Like I mentioned before, if you don’t want to talk to anyone, don’t come here because the Queen of Caffeine(Alex) will learn your name, and she will talk to you and you will enjoy the conversation because she’s just an awesome person to be around. You’ll smile every time you walk in and I understand smiling is not your intention when purchasing a cup of coffee but you just can’t help but smile when you’re in the Queen’s presence. Stop by for one of her Chai-Zing’s(hot or cold), a blend of exotic chai tea and a shot or two of espresso to give you that kick you need. Or maybe you’re traditional and just want a good ol’ cup of joe. She can get that for you too. Just stop by, you won’t regret it.

Slowest service ever! Coffee shops are supposed to be fast. Other then that acceptable, but seriously it’s kind of important when your on the way to work.

This is a great little hidden gem! I was so impressed with their homemade food! We went to their enviably descreet 2nd Sunday brunch! Those in the know do NOT trust Google when it says that the restaurant is closed on that Sunday. We got there early and Alex(shes part of the husband /wife team who are the owners) was so friendly and hospitable. We had one of the best seats in the house! Her husband is a phenomenal chef. The menu blew me away! It was the usual fare with an unexpected trio of items that included a zuchinni, cheese, & onion quiche, a red velvet Belgian waffle with chocolate sauce, and a French toast bake that I had a love affair! Lol. there was also an assortment of fresh fruit, cheese, meat and rolls. With fine teas and coffee or Orange juice included. All for a great price. Daily they are a coffee shop café that serves an array of expesso, lattes, and sandwiches. The atmosphere was very small town and they have a lot of regulars. I invite everyone in to joke around and enjoy the good vibes! :)

Best caramel frappé I’ve ever had, and I am a coffee fiend. The lady who owns the place puts effort into crafting the drinks well, and giving good customer service. A homey kind of atmosphere, and fantastic coffee.

This place is fantastic. Great selection of coffee tea and breakfast items. They alao have some special events such as a prime rib buffett on valentine’s day and are open one Sunday per month. I had some lunch items, Caprese Melt with fruit and spinach artichoke soup. Everything was fantastic. I think this will become a regular spot for me!

I recently stumbled upon this little coffee shop, now I’m considered a regular on Unilocal!Ha! I love coffee, so when I find a good cup I’m likely to return. I’m sad to report that the service was just OK and very dry each visit. The coffee is really good. I tried a cup of their bold brewed coffee with a shot of pumpkin spice syrup. Mmmm mmm good! A 16oz cup will cost you $ 2. They offer a great selection of lattes as well. I’ll have to try the food next time and update this review. Stay tuned…

Very good lattes and other drinks! I have to say the food is amazing. Literally everything that I’ve tried *which is a lot has been great. The soups are ever changing, some new to me, and delicious:-) and the sandwiches… and the quiche. All just yum! It also doesn’t hurt that the owners are really nice people who truly care about their business and their customers! Rock on.

Not Starbuks. Friendly waitstaff. Space to study. All of these are good signs. We ordered regular filtered coffee, which was ho-hum. We probably should have gone for a drink made by the barista. Also, the hours are kind of off, but perhaps are just good for the area? I’d definitely go back if in the area.

A friend of mine took me here and it is very cute. The owner is super friendly and accommodating, serving gluten free items and is sensitive to allergies. The Sunday brunch is fantastic with items like Belgian waffles, Artichoke quiche, potatoes lyonnaise, crepes, Eggs Benedict, meats, cheeses, fresh fruit and drinks; everything made from scratch and at an incredibly reasonable price. The homemade soups taste amazing and occasionally there are entrée style specials on the weekday menu. I have never been disappointed in the quality of the food, the sweet atmosphere, the service nor the music. I return often and was there when Reme B. came in with 4 young women. Only one ordered and that was a coffee. They sat and occupied a table without ordering for at least hour an hour before they left.

I found this place from a Unilocal search which lead me to reviews of «the best coffee in Cincinnati.» This was a review for the previous coffee shop at this location. I learned that this establishment is under new ownership. The owner is very friendly and has a lot of plans for this shop including brunch and an expanding drink and food menu. It is located in a small strip mall across the street from the IGA lot. It is a small parking lot on the corner, but I had no trouble getting in and out and parking. I tried a new drink suggested by the owner which was a chai tea latte with a shot of espresso. It was rich, and thick and sweet, but not cloyingly so. I would definitely go here instead of Starbucks.
