Total Juice Plus

Great downtown lunch spot. The workers are friendly and the food is healthy. I usually eat the falafel wrap ($ 7.50) which is packed full of yummy stuff besides falafel (which by itself is not bad). Don’t forget to add some sriracha sauce for the added kick. I’ve had their juices years ago but haven’t had any recently. They also have mega healthy wheatgrass shots for people wanting to make that «ewww» face but feel really healthy. This is one of the original health food spots in the city, waaaay before the OTR places became popular. I highly recommend TJP for their food, prices, and health-​focused menu.

Currently my favorite place to go to luch. I always get the raspberry smoothie and fajita chicken wrap. This is some good healthy eating.

Very affordable unlike many other juice places. On my first visit I got two juices a smoothie and a wrap. All for the same price of TWO juices at another juicery in otr. I certainly will be returning.

OMG I just finished a veggie heaven wrap with no feta, just like I always do. It’s even better than I remember. I got the large size, but wish it came in bucket sized. Like I could eat it until I exploded. OMG I love it so much. This is the absolute best food I ever had. Like I prefer this to Thanksgiving. If I were ever going to binge eat, this is what I want. Like two or three buckets of veggie heaven wrap. Yeah, everything else about this place is good, too. This is the best place ever. I only ever want to eat here for restaurant eating. It’s always perfect.
My husband Fergus is eating a chicken caesar wrap right now. He likes it a lot, but he says he prefers veggie heaven. It’s the most satisfying vegetarian lunch.

A nice little spot downtown that can make for a somewhat healthy lunch with their wraps and salads. They also make some great smoothies especially for those looking for one after a gym workout where you can get protein or other supplements added. The people there are very nice and friendly and there’s space to eat in or take out. If you like chicken then check out their Chicken Fajita wrap.

I stopped by Total Juice Plus after seeing the downtown establishment in the weekly Unilocal,as I’ve tried all of the juice places in town. The Total Juice Plus team is extremely friendly as you walk in the door, there’s tons of fresh juice combinations and smoothies as well as wraps and salads to choose from made right in front of you in minutes at very affordable prices
On my first visit, the team made me a 16oz juice with beets, ginger and apple — very refreshing on a hot summer day.
I returned on a second visit enjoying the chicken fajita wrap with sriracha sauce, the spinach wrap and the ingredients were fresh, flavorful and filling, I also after several minutes selected a smoothie, as there are so many to choose from I went with the berry blast, filled with fresh berries. Another gentleman came in after me and ordered the Caribbean Splash, he said its his favorite and has ordered it for years, blend of passion-​orange-​guava, pineapple with peach, strawberry, banana, I will have to try that smoothie on my next visit.

If you’re not looking for it, you will definitely miss this place. If you are into fresh squeezed juices and smoothies, this is your place. I am a loyal customer and have been going here several times per week for years. They don’t dissapoint and their food is healthy and calorie concious. I appreciate where they’ve kept their prices on smoothies and juices.

This is a good alternative when you need a quick healthy lunch. The piña colada and the tropical ones were quite tasty. The protein and bran additions made it satisfying and filling.

They serve food! Most people don’t know they serve food. I had the California Roll Wrap and it was delicious, lite, and filling. The service was quick and cordial.

Literally my favorite restaurant downtown! Just eating there makes you feel so healthy! Can not beat the Chicken Fajita wrap and Total Veggie juice with wheatgrass and apple! Yumm! I can seriously eat here like everyday if I was downtown but currently 2 – 3 times a week is a must! Definitely worth the trip from Northern Kentucky! :)

Based on the fact that there’s actually a juice establishment in Cincinnati makes this a 5 to me. The staff is very friendly. The food options/​wraps are probably bland to some, but that’s what most healthy eating is. I always leave here feeling like I conquered the unhealthy food options in the area. The chicken fajita wrap is my go to.

So I went to a place called Total Juice + and didn’t get any juice. Shame on me!
Upon first entering the place, you are hit with a sense of homey-​ness. This place offers wraps, soups, smoothies, juices, and all sorts of things. My lunch today: A cup of chicken-​and-​dumpling soup and a wrap.
The soup was good; creamy and flavorful. The wrap was not so much: a s ahuge sushi fan, I ordered their «california roll wrap» because it sounded good. The end product was bland and had no vinegar-​taste I expect from something based on sushi, resulting in a floury, bland mixture of steamed rice, crabmeat and avocado. I expressed my disdain politely and they were quick to offer a new wrap at no charge. The second wrap was their chicken fajita wrap, which was the exact opposite of the previous dish: flavorful, spicy, and delicious down to the last bite.
I certainly will be back again!

A great place downtown with vegetarian friendly options. I have had a few wraps from here. The large wraps are huge. I favor the fresh juices over the smoothies, but I always see people ordering the smoothies too. The fresh juices are great source of micro-​nutrients and fruit/​vegetable enzymes.

I wanted to like this place, and the smoothie was quite good. I doubt I’ll be back, though.
The wait for lunch was long. The staff was hustling but didn’t have a good system — like even taking names to call out when your order is ready — so we stood there idly for 10 or 15 minutes.
When my friend got her order, I knew I was next. A man leaned over the counter to ask if the chef was making his order: «Nope. One ahead of you.»
Except then that chef pushed my half-​made wrap aside and made that man’s sandwich instead, handing it to him with a wink (literally). Then he went back to finishing mine.
Dude, I was 3 feet away. I saw what you did there. Even if I didn’t, I knew my order was the one placed immediately after my friend, who was now waiting alone with cold food while my wait was even longer to give someone else special treatment. Not cool.
I could get over that insulting service snafu if the food was good. It wasn’t. I’m a sucker for falafel. The falafel wrap was not too flavorful, though, and had a taste that was a little bitter — maybe too much tahini?
So consider a juice or smoothie. Go up a block to Fountain Square to find lunch.

Good veggie and fruit juices. At lunch, they usually have someone dedicated to the juicer, so it’s pretty quick. If you’re visiting, it’s just a short walk from most of the downtown hotels.
I travel, and it’s great to find a place that does real juicing and not just smoothies.

Don’t waste your time and money. The food is over-​rated, and the service is sub-​par.
You can better, fresher juice and food at Findlay Market, and avoid the questionable and highly priced items altogether.

I love Total Juice Plus, or Nuts and Seeds, as I lovingly refer to this delicious hole in the wall across from my building. The staff is wonderful. They know their customers and their preferences, and are always very welcoming.
The food is delicious and so, so fresh. I love the Vegetarian Heaven wrap, but their smoothies are also tasty. A coworker swears by the wheatgrass shots.
I would recommend TJP to anyone looking for a delicious, light meal.

Not impressed at all. I decided to stop in based on Unilocal reviews and the fact that they serve healthy food directly across the street from my work.
I ordered the chicken plate, which is chicken, rice, hummus, and a Mediterranean salad. I got it to go so I could eat in Piatt Park for one of the final times before it gets too cold. When I took the take out box from my bag I found a salad (as advertised), a small pile of steamed rice (not seasoned), a small glob of hummus, and some cut strips of chicken. The salad was average; at least the vegetables seemed fresh. The steamed rice was steamed rice and the chicken was halfway decent. The little hummus I was given was good, but I didn’t get much of it to appreciate.
I don’t think there’s any way I could buy lunch again from here. It wasn’t terrible, but there are so many options downtown that there’s just no reason to go to a place you have doubts about. I could have whipped up this whole meal in fifteen minutes at home. That is not what I want when I go out to eat.
As an aside, the staff there were very nice. That bumped them up out of the single star mark.

I stumbled into TJP one day by accident, and find myself going back over and over again.
What keeps me coming here, as well as all the others that frequent this juice bar? Combination of things really:
— Really Fresh Food. The only thing that I’ve ever seen that wasn’t fresh was when a friend got a turkey wrap, the turkey was packaged. I stick w/​veggies and fruits, so no big skin off my back.
— Friendly Service. I’ve never seen anything but big warm welcomes and smiles from this staff. It feels as though they really love what they do.
–Smells good. Not sure what it is, but I love the smell of this place!
— WheatGrass. Only place I can find in Cincy that has fresh squeezed, before your eyes wheatgrass. $ 2 /​shot, well worth it.
It’s a ten min walk from my office, so it’s always doable. Skip the national burrito shop, and cruise in here for a handmade wrap. You’ll love it!
