Toys R Us

This location is pretty organized, and they have lots of toys and games. I’m a little disappointed in their selection of baby items. I have frequented the babies r us in Florence in the past, and their baby selection is (of course) huge! They seem to have most of the basics (diapers, wipes, formula, feeding accessories, etc…). They also don’t have any kids or baby clothing. I will definitely visit the Eastgate store again since it were close to home, but I wish they had more baby items.

When I was younger, I begged and pleaded my mom to go to this Toys R Us location. I can still remember walking down the then vertically situated aisles, looking through the display cases, and wanting that newest and greatest Sega Genesis game that had just been released. The graphics were so groundbreaking!
Of course, that was a long time ago and a lot has changed since then, including this store, and its for the better. A while back this store went through a renovation and the insides were completely gutted and redone. Since then, they have managed to keep it extremely clean and organized, even though it still smells like rubber in there for some reason. The Sega Genesis games are no more, and have been replaced with a fancy video game section complete with all the newest and hottest releases.
If I still lived in Eastgate, I would probably visit this location more often. Not only does it offer a lot of goodies for children, there are a lot of toys that made the adult me happy as well (Iggy Pop action figure anyone?). Not a bad place to kill an hour.
