Extremely rude service. I had an appt to have a hitch installed, arrived on time for the appointment, and was told that it was rescheduled to 3 hours later. I told the manager that I did not receive a notification of this; she insisted that the text message and email were«delivered» per her computer and had no empathy. You’d think in today’s day and age that a customers digital confirmation would be necessary **if Uhaul changes the appointment time**, or I would have received a phone call from a REALPERSON, but that was not the case. I scheduled the appt online and it appeared as if the website allows users to schedule hitch installs whenever Uhaul is open, even if the ONE employee who can do it isn’t working. Very inefficient. So, I rescheduled, and came back a second time to have the hitch installed and had another terrible experience. I was sitting in the«waiting area» and listened for about 20+ minutes to an employee talking about a personal issue and using extremely explicit language in front of other customers. F word, B word, over and over. By the way, it was the same employee that I dealt with on my first visit. The gentleman who installed my hitch seemed very kind and was very professional. I’ll be using another Uhaul store if I need any future services, as I was appalled by the customer service at this store.

I used this U-Haul station to rent my truck for moving out of my parents house and they did everything right. The truck was waiting by the side of teh facility when my dad and I drove up and the check-in process was super-easy because I had already filled out a lot of the information already. I signed the contract, told them how much I expected to drive, and they explained all of the intricacies about the fuel and mileage. Then they grabbed the blankets I rented off of a shelf, tossed them in the cargo hold, and I was off! They remained friendly and helpful the entire time I had the truck, even when I called in a panic because I had forgotten one of the blankets back at the house. They assured me that it was no problem for me to drop the blanket off at a convenient time in the next day or two. I do wish that every single thing(rope, blanket, bags, etc) wasn’t an extra cost, but I suppose that’s the moving truck game – advertise a super-low rate on the truck and then charge extra for every other piece you need.

DONOT use this U-Haul! They overcharged me for both gas and mileage due to a glitch in their system. The service was incredibly rude(not only to me — I heard the owner on the phone with other customers and he was just as rude to them), and it took me 2 weeks of fighting with higher-ups to get HALF my money refunded. Absolutely terrible. Avoid at all costs.
