Prices are starting to increase considerably… going to stick with them for now at least, but if they go much higher… no guarantees! :-/

It was Christmas Eve and I needed a storage FAST. I called around and got some ridiculous pricing and rude people that did want to help because they were ready to leave wk early due to it being a day before xmas. I get it but if your at wk just do your job. Any way… I called Cube Smart and spoke to a man through the 800# and he was so nice and extremely helpful. I don’t remember his name but I am grateful to have gotten him. After making my reservation and got to the Greenback location I was greated by Sivon(something around that name) she moved fast but didn’t rush and it was a pleasure dealing with her. She was very informative and kind. Thanks for your help at such short notice on one of the busiest days of the yr.

I never write Unilocal reviews, but they deserve 0 stars. I was storing at this facility for over a year. I notified them that i was moving my belongings out December 31st. I asked the girl with no personality at the desk if there was anything I needed to do or sign. She said«nope». December 31st I moved my stuff out. 3 months later I get a call saying that the lock was off my locker and they assumed I have moved out. I reminded them that I moved out in December and had no lock on the locker. They said«you mean you haven’t noticed you’ve been charged for the last 3 months?» I then spoke to the manager and he refused to be helpful whatsoever and refused to refund the $ 300 they over charged me due to their own negligence. Worst business. Do not go there. They are crooks and this isn’t the first time they’ve pulled a quick one on someone.

Not sure if all storage facilities raise their rates annually, but Cube Smart does. They do this annually. Really not a good incentive to stay with one facility if you are still needing their services after one year. Rent goes up about $ 10.00 each year and on top of that they charge a $ 4.00 convenience fee to pay on the automated phone system and $ 2.00 to pay on line. Does not make good business sense if you are wanting to build up your customer base and keep those customers.

Horrible customer service, I’ve dropped in twice trying to get a storage unit after getting a reservation online, and both times I was turned away by the ice queen. When I walked in the office the reaction was the same both times, she was put out that I has come at an inconvenient time for her work schedule. I won’t be going back a third time. They staff one employee so if your trying to go on your lunch break or after you get off work be prepared to be treated like a dirty piece of lunch meat, because they wouldn’t dare put your business before their regularly scheduled breaks or end of their work day. Apparently they like you to come in by appointment only, and it takes 30 minutes to complete a storage unit rental transaction so if you show up between 11 and noon or 5 – 6, they will be happy to see you walk out so they don’t have to work one minute extra! Note to cube smart corporate your breeding this culture by being understaffed and not having staggered brakes and lunches. You had the best prices in the area but I’m taking my business elsewhere on principal now. Using a privately owned storage facility would be ideal because the staff/owner would have an incentive to be receptive to customers it coming at the ideal moment for them. Maddening and ridiculous!
