I love thrift store shopping and in this place I found some items I wanted, affordably priced, and even cheaper with the 50% off deal they had going on the day I stopped in. What could be better than something you want and can use for a small outlay of funds. I would want to stop in again next time I am in the area.

With the in-style women’s clothing selection it stocks, this store could be a great a thrift haunt; however, almost everything else about the store leaves me feeling pretty«meh» about Mary’s. First off, no one greeted me when I entered. And when an employee was restocking racks of clothing right next to me, he still didn’t utter a word to me. The variety of current, stylish women’s clothing is impressive, but it’s also overwhelming. There is so much of it, and the organization of it left me frustrated. Nothing appeared to be organized by size, and since they staple the price tags right onto the clothing tags, I couldn’t even find the sizes on most of the items themselves. I didn’t even bother looking through the jeans because I just didn’t have that much time to invest in trying to find my size in a style I liked. The prices vary. Some are low and some are more what you’d expect from a trendy consignment store and not a cramped, ugly, hole-in-the-wall thrift store. They sell some items with original tags still on them — a lot from Ross — and only discount their prices by a couple bucks in some cases. If the item is on sale, it’s probably a good deal, but I judge a thrift store by its sticker tag, not its sale price. Wednesday’s are half-off everything used. The aisles are super cramped and I had to squeeze and brush by the other shoppers to get through. I hated the dressing rooms. They are curtained, and I had to untie the knotted curtain myself, and then had nowhere to hang my clothes. The room was larger than most and had two mirrors, although one was cracked. It looked very dirty, so I just draped my own clothes over my purse because I didn’t want them touching the beat-up bench. Outside of some cool costume jewelry, the store didn’t have much else to impress. Small book selection, limited men’s section. I heard another shopper remark on the poor organization of children’s clothing. My mom shopped there in the past and scored some killer deals on collectible, battery-operated, Sesame Street characters, so I think the store is hit or miss, and it really depends on which sale day you shop. Bottom line: If you want the best deal, come here on a Wednesday and you’ll probably walk out happy. Otherwise, you might leave a bit frustrated by all the ways the store could be better.

A thift store where you just come a leave. For me there wasn’t a great selection of items. Seen it before when I drove by and wanted to check it out.

I actually like this place. I dont buy clothes from here only house decorations, sometimes they have cute stuff nd weekend/Wednesday is %50 off everything except new items witch is okay. They have cute pictures frames and candle holders nd sometimes they’ll have small bags of little cute toys for kids(cheap) my daughter likes it. Plus sometimes good books for kids. only problem, some employees are rude about letting you use there bathroom.

It smelled like cat urine in there. I was looking for an item of sporting equipment in there and I guess Mary’s isn’t where that sort of thing typically ends up. Half-price Wednesday and Saturday specials are a nice draw, but the merchandise I perused would probably be more happy in a cockroach infested house… tweakers might be pleasantly surprised as well.

There’s a lot of clothes in here which I did not look through(if my fiancé comes along he makes me promise we’ll look at the«junk» and books and skip on everything else). The«junk» and books left a little to be desired. I did not walk away with much. HOWEVER on Wednesdays they have 50% off everything — and since it was Wednesday when I went — I did leave happy with two wall decorations!

I found this place while looking for the Goodwill store on Auburn Blvd. I didn’t find much while I was there, but I left with two brand new pairs of Vera Wang tights for a dollar. I was informed that Wednesdays and Saturdays are 50% off of everything(except new shoes), so you should probably go on those days.
