Norca Army Navy Surplus

I went into here looking for a bag to put my every day stuff in. Anyone who knows me will tell you I’m not a purse type of gal. I usually carry a back pack, but I tend to fill it up with too much stuff I really don’t need. I needed something smaller with less room. The guy that was working there was nice and tried to help me out. When he realized he didn’t have exactly what I was looking for, he offered suggestions of other places I might try. Super nice, laid back place.

This place have all military items, but doesn’t give any military discount I like their little puppy and the decorations of the Zombie with Daryl Dixon on. Other than that nothing else.

Let me begin by letting you know that this store has just about everything you could possibly want to find in connection to military apparel. I went to another store that sells Army/​Navy surplus before coming to Norca and regret having done so. My experience at Norca was the complete opposite of the one I had at the other establishment in a positive sense. Norca’s store is extremely well organized and you don’t have to rummaging through a bin to find what you’re looking for. They were well stocked and the merchandise was quality. That being said, the staff at Norca is friendly and helpful which was something I was very appreciative of in particular. They are honest and genuine in their efforts to help you get what you need at a reasonable price. The first store I went to just down the road had unfriendly staff, evaded my questions and failed to disclose that I was only buying a piece of the item that I was looking for. When I asked if I could return the item that I had purchased from the first store I was told that I would not be given anything more than store credit and that was final. If you want to do business with good, honest people go to Norca before you waste your time and money. I purchased a bunch of NBC (Nuclear, Chemical, Biological) protective gear and a tactical load bearing vest from them if you were wondering. Thank you again to the staff at Norca for your professionalism and kindness.

The short: Its an army navy surplus store so you’re going to find outdated military items and random gear. That being said if you have a need this place is a solid choice.
The long: I’m not quite sure what I was after when I came here, and although I did walk out empty handed I was tempted by a few things. The store itself is one of those places you will miss if you are not looking specifically for it. When I walked in the door I was greeted by a young lady immediately and I began wandering through the small shop. There was a wide variety of new and used uniforms and funny enough some of them still had the name patches still on them. There was the typical gas masks, tents, bags, camping supplies, and what not you find in most surplus stores except the selection was pretty small here. They have a lot of weaponry in the cases and a bunch of new military and patriotic shirts all hanging from the ceiling. My biggest gripe was that this place is majorly disorganized. It kind of looks like a bomb went off in here. That being said the girl working was very helpful in helping me locate anything I asked about. There was one REALLY weird thing and that was the abnormally large amount of old Star Wars toys that took up a good chunk of the store. I’m not sure what they had to do with anything.
What works: New and used, old and new (ish), a wide range of supplies and paraphernalia
What to improve: Organization is pretty rough

The guys in this place are definitely helpful. The guy there on saturdays has gone out of his way to help me find what I was looking for several times now, and he has been happy to do it! Very knowledgeable.

Learned about this place from YouTube. They have lots of cool stuff. I will come here again
