If only I could give this place 0 stars I would; or maybe negative stars would be more deserving. The food is pretty good. I really liked their«Hot & Pepper Chicken,» and they probably have some of the best crab/cheese rangoons I’ve tasted in the Sacramento area. HOWEVER, I CANNOTEVERRECOMMENDTHISPLACETOANYONE! What is really atrocious is the service! The people who run this place wouldn’t know good customer service if they were hit over the head with it! The waitresses sit in the back corner and gawk at everybody who come into the restaurant. They point and stare at you and then chatter among themselves in Chinese, all the while neglecting the used plates and empty glasses on your table. When they do finally feel like getting up to bus the tables, the only words out of their mouths are, «YOUWANTMORE?» Someone behind me had asked for Coke with some raspberry in it, and instead of saying, «No, we don’t offer that,» the waitress started laughing at the guy and then walked away, telling the other waitresses, «HEWANTRASPBERRYINCOKE! HAHAHAHA!» and they all started laughing at him. I felt bad for the guy. In my case, my boyfriend and I had gone in for lunch, and unbeknownst to us, we were apparently there long enough to cross the threshold of lunch into dinner. I had no idea being that don’t have any signs up that state when one ends and the other begins. They decided to put out dinner menu items before they put out any labels or notified anyone about the switch. I do know we came in at 3:20PM, and my boyfriend stormed out at 3:35PM. He put some coconut shrimp on his plate and not a few minutes later, the waitress comes over and, loud enough for everyone to hear, asks, «YOUGOINGPAYDINNERPRICE, RIGHT? SHRIMPNOTFORLUNCH, FORDINNER!» My boyfriend told her that there was no sign, and I can back him up on that, I didn’t see a sign either. She didn’t even offer to mitigate the situation by offering a discount, or say that the first plate would be on the house or something. She just kept insisting, «SHRIMPFORDINNERONLY! YOUPAYFORDINNERPRICE?» as loud as she possibly could. My boyfriend, aggravated at this point, said, «Well, I can put the crap back,» but she just kept yelling, «THATNOTLUNCH, THATDINNER, YOUPAYFORDINNERPRICE, RIGHT?!» Not only was it awful customer service to be baiting and switching without properly notifying the customer, the woman was so rude about the way she was handling it! My boyfriend was so angry he got up and walked out, and I quickly followed, letting the manager and the waitress at the same time know that not only did the waitress exhibit THE worst customer service I had ever dealt with, but that she was THE rudest one I had ever met and I would never eat there again. And as I was driving away, she came out of the restaurant, waving to me, yelling, «YOULEAVENOTIP! YOULEAVENOTIP!» As if anyone in their right mind would leave a tip for that kind of service. I could be starving in a post-apocalyptic world, with nothing to eat but irradiated opossum meat, and I still would never eat at this place again, even if it was the last restaurant on earth! DONOT waste your money at this place, and DONOT put up with the awful customer service demonstrated by these people! This place is a joke, and it won’t be funny when they ruin your dinner with their attitude and behavior!

I’ve eaten here many times before and have never encountered the type of service we had on Valentine’s day. My family and I arrived a little past noon and yes, the place was packed. Its $ 12.50 per person on Sundays and I’ve learned they no longer seat you so its up to you to wander around until you find a table that will fit the amount of ppl in your party. We waited for the previous family to leave so we could have their tables. We stood by to wait for the tables to be cleaned. The bus lady came over and started picking up the dirty plates so I assumed by the time my family members were done filling up their plates, the tables would be clean. NOT! She was talking on her bluetooth, left with the dirty dishes and didn’t return. Now. I was very patient because I knew and felt for her being that it was at busy lunchtime. My family returned with their plates and there we were still waiting for the tables to be cleaned. I picked up the spray bottle and towel she left on the table and started wiping away; she didn’t notice that because she was busy talking on her headset and was picking up mess at another table! Anyhow, good selection of food besides the fact it took forever to fill up the pots that were empty. Had regular chinese hot food like the beef & broccoli, honey chicken, orange chicken, seafood was alright. the salmon was a bit plain and dry. Crawl dads and stuff mushrooms were good. They also had alternative food like fries, mashed potatoes, fried chicken(plain), a salad bar, fruit bar, but the sushi was horrible. I mean its not too bad for the price we paid but it did suck having to seat ourselves, clean the tables, waited for clean forks, plates, and soup bowls and it took a while for them to replenish the two pots of steam rice!

simply put… i like the place. there are 3 bars for food, 1 for sushi, 1 for dessert. their seafood is very good for a buffet. on friday’s they have 2 types of crab, mussels & s cargo. about $ 7 for lunch, $ 11.50 for dinner. plenty of parking & very polite staff. all-in-all good for a buffet.

i agree with the first poster!!! i LOVED going here and i usually get excited at any buffet! i remember they used to have this item, crab meat wrapped in bacon. it sounds disgusting but damnnn was it good! but they no longer have it :(the last time i went, my bf&i were arguing about where to go(he is white&hates asian food… but apparently not asian girls :]) i wanted to go here but he wanted fudruckers! so we were just going to go home but he wanted to «surprise me and make me happy» as he put it so we came here. it was dinner time on a weekend&i think we paid around $ 26. i barely ate anything :(their dishes are pretty basic asian stuffs– soups, chicken/beef dishes and some american– pizza, fries, etc. if you really like crab legs then i suggest you come here because that’s all i really feel is worth the trip. i felt terrible about being a brat because i ended up here but heyyy, i didn’t force him to bring me here! nor will i ever do it again.

this is a 2 star place in my opinion you know when you’re a little kid and your tastebuds are unrefined and your favorite meal is mac & cheese from the blue box. well– i remember going to this place as a kid and loving it– a bunch of fried then smothered in sauce items, fake/nasty sushi. you can see a layer of oil/unhealthy covering almost every item they server(except for some of the fruit corner)– so you think the brocolli item may actually not be that horrible for you, then you realize that it is shiny. now that i think back, the boiled shrimp(something i loved going there for) still had the yucky poop vien in it. they do have a wide variety of items included american fav like(nasty) pizza, mashed potatoes, ect. i went back to this place for the first time in years at the begining of this summer and was surprised to realize what i had actually been eating and enjoying as a kid– my parents still think its a good place to eat. eww the only reason they have 3 stars is the pinapple chicken and the crab legs that i remember — if i were to give it 4 stars based on these two things, people might actually want to go there over somewhere much better
