So the food itself is eh. There are definitely a variety of choices — good choices? Not really. The seafood was fishy(not fresh). The fried food was old. The sweet and sour chick was over cooked. The rice on the sushi rolls was hard. Even the ice cream cone was stale. The biggest problem I have with this place though deals with sanitation. Now, I know that buffets no matter where you go have some risk of being a petre dish but this place(or rather the customers) are gross. There’s no hand sanitizer. Not a big deal? I saw some guy picking his nose at the table and then go to the buffet. So now, the customers that follow him get to also partake in his mucous. Also, I saw 3 people go back to the buffet with their used plate. Not a big deal? Every serving utensil that touches their used plate has their saliva on it. Yum! And there’s no sign instructing people to get a new plate — not that I think there should be a need for a sign but obviously there is a need. So, if you want to give your immune system a good test, this is the place for you.

Nope! Just no. Never again. At one point it was decent but after visiting for the first time in a couple years I was highly disappointed. The cleanliness and décor is horrible and the food isn’t any better. Some of the food was inedible.

VERY Disappointing! Prices went up while food quality went down! Best thing we got tonight was an awesome server…

This place is in serious need of new flooring and booths. its a turn off looking at the dirty worn carpet and booths while eating. some things are pretty good like stir fry and soup but overall too much below par food. their ice tea tasted like metal and the hot tea was.ok.chinese resturant that cant make tea? my hubby likes the wings and general chicken and the wok. overall they need to remodel and offer fewer but better dishes.

Disgusting!!! The only reason I ate any of the food is because it was going to cost me $ 15.00. Way over priced. We will definitely be finding another Chinese restaurant for Christmas next year.

We eat here more then we should to be honest. I try to stay with things I know are good, like the crab legs, the Mongolian BBQ, the shrimp, the wontons, the sushi, the salt and pepper crab, all the fruit, and there is so much more. You get what you pay for and its not the best or the worst. Friday and Saturday buffet nights are the best. While the interior could use some renovations and the exterior isn’t really any better, this place is good! Not everyone that comes is a fan, but my family of five leaves with everyone full and happy.

I visited this restaurant around 1:30 for a late lunch. All of the food with lukewarm. I should have stopped then, however I was hungry. After consuming the tepid food, I became quite ill. I will never eat here again!

Place smelled like rotting flesh upon entering. Seats were torn up and the end of one of the booths poked at my thigh. Food was disgusting but leave it up to me to know this and still continue to try and find something edible. That didnt work. Plus. service was terrible. Needless to say… will not be returning.

Well, where do I begin My girlfriend and I have been going the nearby restaurants(mostly El Tapatio, the Mexican restaurant next door), and always see this place busy. One might say that that is the sign of a good business. So my girlfriend and I debated between somewhere that we knew was going to be great, or somewhere new. We walked in, optimistically, but we had a feeling it was going to be just like the others we have been to. Same décor, same layout, same partitions(the«ancient carving things). We first made our rounds, and realized that we have been here before(the same feel). Everything was overcooked, under seasoned, had very off-putting scent and texture. Even after trying a couple items, I immediately started thinking about paying, getting out of there, and then going next door. At least then, I knew that we were going to eat something that was at least edible and flavorful. Some items should not have even been conceived: Mussels with mayonnaise and cheese, oysters that were on steroids(and I don’t mean that in a good sense), and Americanized-Chinese items to name a couple. I am not really one for salt, as my girlfriend can attest, but this place could have definitely used a few pinches in each of the dishes. A few touches could have made it a whole lot better, like putting a little zest in their«orange chicken.» They use crab as an attractant, but was grabbed by other customers within a few seconds. We noticed that there was always a couple people that were right there, snatching all the crab as soon as it came out. That anyway is a customer issue. The crab just looked like they were boiled in water. Would be a whole lot better if they would have put in some seasoning in the water(kinda like a boil). We received the bill, and being that it was Friday dinner, it was their special price. Completely fine, as many places do that. The total was $ 35(with soda and iced tea). Definitely way over priced. Many times, when I try a new place, I try to give the benefit of the doubt for the first time I go to a new place. But this was so bad, definitely not returning.

The food was not good at all. Everything taste like it was sitting there all day. They did not want to put the AC on although it was about 85 degrees in there. I will never go there again. :(

The food wasn’t very good at all. Had a couple of things that were good. Overall we were very disappointed with it for what we paid. On top of that, the shutters by the tables were filthy, the thermostat had black fingerprints all over it, the AC wasn’t working, the carpet was filthy and walking out we saw the bases of all of the booths were black with dirty grime. Makes me wonder how clean the food prep areas are in the kitchen. We won’t be back. Will post some pics…

FAIL Food was stale. The waiters were rude. The selection wasn’t worth $ 9.00. The building was run down. Feel like I need my shots updated now. Just stay away.

This place looks pretty good from the outside, but once you step inside, you will rethink that. The place is falling apart. The seats are old, and the place looks dingy. The food was pretty good for a buffet though. The service was ok, as well. The price was not worth it, I regretted going, especially since for the price, I could have went next door.

I had a hard time deciding whether to give two or three stars. If you were going to review based on appearance alone you would be quick to give them a 1 star. As soon as you enter you see a very disorganized/messy cashier area. The koi fish water fall is pretty nice so your first impression in the entrance can give you mixed emotions. However, when you walk into the dining area you jaw may just hit the ground. The flaws are overpoweringly apparent. Dirty, old, stained, faded, stretched out red carpet is absolutely foul. Booth seats are falling apart as in the fake leather has peeled away from nearly 30%of the booth. The base of the booths are dirty and scuffed up. So much so that I think there was once some sort of padding that covered the base but as with everything else they have since fallen apart. The tables are all in decent shape as shocking as that may sound. Now to the food… 6 sperate double isles of food as well as a separate Mongolian BBQ area and sushi area. The Mongolian BBQ looks OK(I didn’t try it.) The sushi looks as though the cooks sat around one day and said, let’s see how many different ways we can make a California roll. There are literally 12 rolls to choose from and all of them have crab and a different combination of crab, fish eggs, different crab, cream cheese and sauces that make up these 12 different or should I say not so different rolls. The food in the main buffet area is your basic Chinese buffet options including; egg rolls, sweet and sour chicken, clams, fried squid, pot stickers, noodles, fried rice, teriyaki chicken, beef and broccoli, fish, salad bar, fruit bar and so on. Non of the food sticks out as amazing but it’s all decent as least what I had. So food alone is about a 3.5 and is the only thing I would assume that has people coming here. Service is OK. They will come around and get your dirty plates consistently and do an average job of keeping your drink refilled. So, if the harsh visual environment doesn’t freak you out and get you thinking about what the kitchen might look like, then you might be able to enjoy your meal. Please, for the sake of your business. Upgrade your carpet, paint and seating immediately!

My family have been visiting this restaurant for many years, but had not been there in about a year and a half. Recent visit was not good and we won’t be back until they cleanup and remodel. The exterior planters and landscaping is also in serious need of maintenance. Prices have gone up, substantially, food has fewer selections and the place is terribly run-down and dirty. Food was okay, but they no longer have any BBQ steak, as previous. Ice cream self-service is in a dark, soiled area and product is icy and without much taste. Upholstery on seating is WORNOUT to the threads and floor(carpet) is covered with stains and food spills. STAYAWAY!

Well, this establishment needs to get new chefs. The food that is in the buffet is cold when it’s supposed to to be hot. The cold items are room temperature. The fish and seafood tastes old. They do not take pride in their food or establishment at all. Their prices are ridiculous. I had my 2 twin daughters with me. It cost me $ 50. We were in the restaurant for about 15 – 20 min and decided to leave. Our waitress asked us if we were done and wanted to know why we were leaving so soon… I explained… we didn’t like the food and everything that was supposed to be hot was not and the food was not good. Another lady came to the front and decided to give us a $ 5 discount. Wow… We will never be back… and do not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

This place is a hidden gem. Don’t be fooled by the negative reviews. If you want a nice environment, go to PF Chang’s or Fat’s. If you want a huge selection of food, this is the place to be. This place is no different than any 5 star Chinese restaurant in SF. The grimier the place is the better, since they focus on food. Mangolian BBQ, sushi, crabs, cajun crawfish, oysters, deserts, and Chinese food all excel for a cheap entry fee. I feel like the negative reviews are from the business owners who lost business from this gift of a restaurant. I moved close by so I can eat here as often as I want.

I had nothing to say besides nice things about this buffet for over a year. I live in Natomas and would make the drive whenever my PMS hit and I utterly craved Chinese food and loads of sushi since it is $ 35 for my husband and I to eat as much junk as we want. The food is what you see at any average buffet. Nothing special. The booths are torn, carpet is old and gross, and everything is subpar as usual. Does have the sushi counter, and hibachi grill too which I particularly loved. **any breaded and fried meat there, such as, honey chicken, or orange chicken, was rolled in lard and fried to make the chicken seem more meatier. ** So I avoided this, as my husband would scarf it down. Well finally, our trips here will come to an end. Reason being– the time before last our waitress was the rudest I ever experienced already making me not want to return. But this time, we were profiled. I am not a bad looking girl, neither is my husband. Regardless, they made me pay prior to being seated, and everyone was not forced to pay up front. We always paid at the end and would leave a tip. When I asked the waiter why did I have to pay up front and the person who came in at the same time I did, didn’t, his response was«they are a family of 3»… and? I am a family of two, your point? And that’s when I figured whatever and sat down, to only notice, there were plenty of couples who were getting checks at the end of their meals. So, I guess this is what being ‘profiled’ feels like. As if I am a dine-n-dasher or something. The kicker was him bringing the tip tray to me at the end of my meal and looking at it every time he passed by. Sorry but tips are not automatically given in my household, you earn it. I will never return.

Wow this place is a ghetto nightmare low class super dirty no air conditioning in the middle of summer. The chief started screaming in the kitchen people were running out and running in to see what was happening. I looked in to make sure everything was ok(retired cop in me) and the guy was waving a giant ladle around trying to hit people. Three women and a man held him until he calmed down. The food was actually pretty good but for $ 15 I expect t hat the floors a kitchen get clean once every 100 years. Don’t do it you have been warned
